Fantastic little cottage beside the water. The place to go to relax and recharge. Dooey beach is a 2 minute drive. Worth going a walk or taking a dip and lastly McCafferty’s bar in Lettermacaward serves a great Guinness!

A lovely apartment that was spotlessly clean and fresh. Super comfortable beds and great showers. Thanks for the lovely arrival surprise of some Hot Cross Buns! The location is excellent and there are plenty of places to eat -we had amazing seafood at Andersons Boathouse Restaurant which is just around the corner and a gorgeous breakfast at Mrs B’s. Hoping to return in the Summer for a longer stay!

Mary Frances was an extremely welcoming host, and the little touches she left (milk in the fridge on arrival, welcome message on the whiteboard etc) made our stay extra special. The property itself is incredible, the pictures really don't do it justice. I'd recommend this stay in a heartbeat. We got unlucky with the weather during our trip and hardly even noticed because there was so much to keep you busy in the house.

We spent a very happy time at the house. Very well equipped. We had a family wedding at Harvey’s Point. We got a taxi easily and came back to a quiet place of rest. We didn’t try all the lovely walks but hopefully we will return. Great Place!!

5 stars — Exceptional Stay! We had an amazing experience at the wee pink cottage! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described in the listing—actually, even better in person. This is such a beautiful and unique place, both the cottage itself and the stunning surroundings. The cottage had so much character and was extremely well equipped and comfortable. You open the door straight into the remote Donegal countryside with only sheep as your neighbours! It was incredibly peaceful and we wished we could stay here longer. The cottage is a beautiful walk or a 10 min drive from the sea at Port, with a beach and cliff walks. Further afield are plenty of beautiful spots to explore in this beautiful corner of Donegal.

I stayed at Angela's home for 3 nights with my fiancé, our 7 month old baby, my parents, my brother & our dog. We felt totally at home right away - Angela's house literally feels like a home away from home; it has every amenity you could think of and need for your stay. The place was spotless when we arrived also. We got lucky with the weather and were able to make use of the outdoor space which is also fab! The beds were really comfortable as were the pillows. Angela had also left a travel cot & high chair for my daughter which was great. Can't recommend this home enough! Thank you Angela.

loved this place. Eibhlin had left a dog bed, bowls and a bag of treats for our dog. most dog-friendly stay ever! House had everything - great kitchen- I even baked bread! We had some lovely walks and swam in the sea. We were 3 couples getting away from it all and this was perfect. One of us was on crutches and the access in the house was perfect. we want to go back and take it family :-) Thanks ++

The most amazing house we've stayed in to date. The views from the house are heavenly and the pictures don't do it justice. Being able to walk across the garden to the beach is amazing. Great facilities in the house. The house was always warm. We've stayed in Downings numerous times but the location of this house is perfect. The views are outstanding and being able to walk to the pub, cafes, hotels and shop etc is a major bonus for Donegal. It's also pet friendly which is fantastic and the house has gates on the stairs so the dogs can't wander. The hosts couldn't be more helpful and responsive to any queries. Can't wait to go back again!

House was fantastic…..perfect for our gang of 8! Really well kitted out in the kitchen, everything felt very new & spotlessly clean with lovely welcome of coffee, bread etc. The view from the deck was the best bit…..we loved it, despite the wet Irish ‘summer’ weather 😜 Thanks to Mary & Tommy for a lovely stay 👌🥰

Great big house in central location in Killybegs. 15 minute walk to shorefront and pubs/shop etc. Mary was very responsive and extremely helpful both prior to and after our stay. My mum forgot her sunglasses and Mary offered to post them to us - brilliant! There were 5 adults and 4 kids staying and the house was a perfect size. Bedrooms were clean and welcoming. The living room was spacious and warm with the option of an open fire. The kitchen was also very spacious and had everything you would need. We did the short drive to Slieve League and would highly recommend this. All in all, a super stay in a lovely house in beautiful Killybegs. Mary was a brilliant host. Would definitely go back with the family.
