Perfect for a weekend getaway for a couple. Cozy, comfortable, and amazing amenities. Sitting in the hot tub at night looking up at the stars was amazing.

We just had a long weekend in Hocking with family. We had three couple plus one and had a great stay. Everything we needed was available and easy to locate, house was spotless, bathrooms were stocked, beds were comfy, hot tub was great and we had more than enough space to hang out, eat and watch movies. The larger bedroom is on the lower level with the theater which both are chilly as previous reviews stated. There were two heaters in the theater which took the chill off easily and the fireplace in the large bedroom was great there so that wasn’t an issue. Previous reviews stated the road was really busy. We didn’t experience that. We even had the front bedroom window cracked overnight with no problems just the occasional car. Driveway is steep, as the listing said, but just a heads up. We had two suvs and two cars that made it up just fine carefully. We were close to the trails and Logan for dinners and little outings. It really was a perfect cabin for our trip!

We had our yearly girls trip here and it was absolutely worth the rare find! We mainly stayed in the entire weekend and sat around the fire pit and played games in the living area. The bedrooms and beds are extremely comfortable. This home was extremely clean. They have special touches through out the home as it was decorated for fall when we were there. The hosts were extremely helpful and responded quickly. If we are ever back in Hocking Hills we’re would absolutely stay here again!

Very beautiful cabin. Enjoyed the pond, thankful there were fishing poles. Our friends stayed in the other cabin which was great, it was all with in walking distance. The location is not too far away from town. Walmart was 14 minutes away. We will be staying here again!

Kevin was an excellent host, I told him about an issue I was having and he assisted the same day. 10 out of 10 on the looks of the cabin and service!

This property was a perfect setting for a family getaway. We enjoyed both hanging out at the house as well as going on local hikes. Cantwell cliffs was especially impressive, and less than 10 minutes away. At night time it is so quiet and peaceful. We greatly appreciated the amenities such as the fire pit and the hot tub, and the the very cute decorating scheme is a lot of fun. Rachael and Jonathan were very responsive and helpful. The house was intuitive and everything was easy to find. Both adults and kids enjoyed the indoor swing!!! Exceeded expectations and a really great vacation spot. And pet friendly to boot!!!

Shu was very responsive and friendly! This was the perfect place to host our Friendsgiving. Back in the woods but close to hiking trails which was perfect for a Saturday morning. All the games and amenities were perfect for a large group. Would definitely recommend!

Retreat at Rockhouse was great! Private, rustic and modern. Everything functioned well. The retreat is very relaxing and peaceful. A beautiful little gem in The Hocking State Park region.
