There were five of us with two 4-year-old children for 5 nights in the accommodation and we felt very comfortable. We were warmly welcomed by Gerd and there were even a few welcome gifts. The highlight for us was the proximity to the S-Bahn station. You enjoy the advantages of a suburb (e.g. there are several playgrounds in the neighborhood) and are still very quickly in Cologne. The house also met all expectations and especially with children we can absolutely recommend the accommodation!

My boyfriend and I stayed one night in this cute treehouse and had a very good time! It is perfect for a nice break in the nature. :) The hosts are helpful and have good tips for beautiful places in the area, both for walks in nature as well as cafes, etc . All in all, a great experience!

We had such a lovely time at Peter and Anne’s place! The apartment was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully prepared—perfect for both relaxing and working remotely. We were three people, and each of us had a comfortable bed to sleep in. We worked from the apartment during the day and spent our free time exploring the beautiful area on foot. We recommend car travel, but the bus station is just across the street. Everything was within walking distance, and the neighborhood had such a peaceful and charming vibe—and ducks! Anne was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. On our first day — which happened to be the start of the Cologne Carnival — Peter and Anne even picked us up from the train station. We weren’t prepared for the crowds and are genuinely thankful for their help. We highly recommend staying here if you plan to travel around this area. Thank you again for being such kind and welcoming hosts — we enjoyed our stay

Our trip was business-related, and the location of the accommodation proved to be very convenient. The accessibility to the exhibition center was very easy, as the route goes in the opposite direction of traffic during rush hours. The house was very comfortable, clean, in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Barbara was always prompt with anything we requested and willing to assist. We enjoyed our stay.
