Vacation rentals with a kayak in Gulf County

The home was immaculate with a very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable and tastefully decorated. Quiet and relaxing neighborhood, with a short walk to the beach. Nature trails and restaurants nearby. Julie recommended Serenity Trail and Uptown Raw Bar and Grille which we really enjoyed. We hope to return soon!

Absolutely perfect beach house! The space was exactly what we needed—clean, comfortable, and just steps from the beautiful beach. We loved the quiet, relaxed area, far from the hustle of bigger cities but still an easy drive to Panama City for a day of fun. The local small-town vibe was incredible, with cozy seafood shacks and a few business-casual spots nearby for a nice dinner out. The owner was wonderful, with quick and easy communication and plenty of great local suggestions. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a great location!

Was happy to spend hours in the back yard admiring the view across the lagoon and watching the bird and butterfly life. Herons, ospreys, bald eagles, woodpecker and even briefly a hummingbird. Also fish leaping out of the shallow water. In the other direction it is a five minute walk to a wide, long white sand beach.

This was a beautiful home with a short golf cart ride to the beach. The house is located in a friendly, quiet community with a short drive to local restaurants and the grocery store. There is a nice community dog park as well. The kitchen in the home is well-stocked with all the necessary items. The bedrooms are very spacious with comfortable beds and TVs in each room. The host is very responsive and offers additional helpful information.

Sandy Paws is a big, uniquely lovely home in a very natural & wild but welcoming part of Florida. Andy & Travis have done an amazing job setting up the place to make guests feel comfortable & at home, including pets, which we deeply appreciate! (But if it weren't for conveniences like pet bowls & beds etc we wouldn't have known, as it was very clean.) The beds were nice & comfy while the kitchen has a great assortment of utensils, dishes & assorted things you tend to need on vacation. The decks & screened porch were big hits, plus many conveniences like bikes, outdoor shower & golf cart. It's even more spacious than the pictures suggest, with a fun game room & DS mini fridge, big Jacuzzi tub & peaceful, private location just a short walk/drive from the beach. The beach itself is beautiful, sunny, full of shells & not crowded, though we visited in the off season. TH Stone & local food+shops were excellent as well! We had a blast & can't recommend Sandy Paws & its hosts strongly enough.

We had an excellent stay! The house was so spacious for my family of 4. Everyone had their own space, and we could easily bring more family with us if we were to stay here again! We loved having access to a 6 seater golf cart! This made the trip to the beach and to Windmark town center so easy! We also enjoyed just riding around in the neighborhood on our bikes and the golf cart. The firepit in the back was perfect for chilly nights. The house was clean and comes with everything you need for a perfect day at the beach (toys, bikes, wagon, cooler, etc...) The beach itself was wonderful! Would love to visit again soon! Thank you so much for a wonderful family vacay!

Very nice neighborhood, easy access to the beach especially with the golf cart. All the beach chairs and umbrellas are really nice. This is a quiet place in Florida so you’re spending most of the time at the beach. The beds are so comfortable and the house was very clean too.

Sunset walk was just what our little family needed, it was relaxing, peaceful, clean, close to town, shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed our time with family, and friends, thanks for sharing your home with us, until next time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Salt Therapy. The house is beautiful and is in a very peaceful location right outside the state park. We sat on the screened balcony and listened to owls at night and saw bald eagles and ospreys as well. The house was very clean and had modern appliances and every amenity you could ask for. The instructions and labels on everything were a huge help. We are already thinking about our next trip to Cape San Blas and hope to stay in the same house again. Loved it!
