Family-friendly vacation rentals in Guatemala Department

The room was pristine and located within a hotel so there was good breakfast and every service a hotel has to offer, despite the property being a full 1 bedroom apartment.

Excellent host and very nice house to rest and connect with the environment. The photos do not justify the beautiful house and environment, especially the beautiful views of the volcanoes... it is much better in reality than in the photos to be able to capture the beautiful environment. I would return to this place as many times as I could.

We enjoyed our stay over Christmas, it was a peaceful oasis (except for the firework festivities!) Everything was as pictured and the staff was very accommodating. We especially appreciated the ability to check in early. The resident cat, Nazareo, was a bonus!

This place is beautiful and the hosts are very friendly. The place is about 15-20 minutes from downtown Antigua, so you will need your own car or you can also take Ubers, which is what I did. There is no gym, but they have some free weights if you need. The hosts are very responsive and helpful and live on the premises. Note that bringing over friends or guests during your stay is a limited possibility. The pool is great and the views of surrounding volcanoes is too.

Great house in a great location just a short drive into town. The house is in a nice quite neighborhood and the outdoor spaces upstairs on the roof were awesome! I would stay here again if in Antigua, highly recommended.

Nice townhouse in a gated community. All worked well for us (5 adults). Antigua´s central park is about a 15 minutes Uber ride, plus there is a grocery store and banks available about 5 minutes away. The host is very responsive, clear and friendly. We had a great time!

Great Stay, well equipped, professionally managed and much more cleaner than say a Kipper stay. Highly recommend due to the location, which is close to cafes, restaurants, and shops...

We loved this place! Walkable to everything yet very private and peaceful in a gated community. The house is so beautiful with relaxing terraces and spaces to spend your day. We spent every evening watching the sunset on the rooftop that looked out right at one of the volcanoes. The host was also amazing and really easy to communicate with. Thanks for a great stay!

The place is more beautiful than what the photos are perceived

Norma was amazing, very flexible and accompanied us every step of the trip. The house is clean, spacious and with a lot of soul. I would come back without thinking.

We really enjoyed our weekend in Guatemala City. The house is very nice just like the photos posted. In the area we found many things to do. It was a very nice experience.

This villa is perfect for family living. The accommodation is very cozy and each room has a private bathroom inside the room which was very useful to us. it is very quiet even though it is very central you can be very calm. The single bed in the main room is not comfortable, so I consider the house to be for 5 very well accommodated guests even though cuents xon space for 6. 100% recommended the place was just like the pictures and the cleanliness of the rooms was excellent.

Treat yourself to an incredible Antigua experience!!! Rick has raised the bar of a Airbnb experience. Start your day having a fresh cup of coffee on the terrace viewing the volcanos followed by a hot breakfast. Meander down the street for a short walk to the park and when you return relax in the beautiful historical house. Rick is extremely responsive and the staff at the house will quickly accommodate reasonable requests. When we are back we will be staying here.

We had to stay in the area due to a family emergency. Carlos had a lovely home and worked with us so we could get it booked the same day. We appreciated his flexibility and communication especially during a difficult time.

The house is beautiful, the Guardian super friendly, everything just like the pictures. Super recommended to go. The pool water is warm. There is hot water in the showers They fit quite a few cars.

We had an excellent time at this house in Antigua. Host was incredibly helpful and responsive, and allowed us to check in early due to our very early flight arrivals. The house is amazing, with the outdoor pool area being an amazing spot to hang. What really stood out was the staff that is there to help, so amazing and helpful. They shopped for us and cooked us a breakfast and lunch that was absolutely amazing, better than restaurants. No need to go out in search of local food when you have them. Had an amazing time.

Romeo and Wendy are extraordinary hosts! Would give them 10 stars if I could! We were able to meet them in person and they are lovely, warm people. The apartment is beautifully decorated with bright guatamalen style colors and beautiful artwork. The kitchen is well equipped, bed very comfortable, and plenty of hot water for showers. There is a private balcony off the bedroom that is great to enjoy the morning sun and the cool evenings. Orotava villas, beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. Nice heated pool. Many nooks to relax and enjoy the quiet, calm atmosphere. It is a very secure, safe property with a security gate and guard. The location is superb… walk to edge town is only 10 and to parc central about 20 minutes. There is a complimentary shuttle you prefer. Antiqua a wonderful city full of charm and warm people. If you visit Antiqua Romeo and Wendy villa is the place to stay!

Very quiet place, exelente attenencion

I liked the place, it was clean, it is located in a private area, it is spacious and I liked that it had 2 parking spots, in general the experience was good.

Out flight arrived late at night, which was a worry for me. I contacted Lucia to see if check in would be an issue. She responded promptly and let me know a guard would be there to greet us no matter the time of arrival. The Guard, mr. Oscar was a lovely man who also helped us anything house related. In addition Ms. Lina was at the house every day for a few hours to do the house keeping and also a lovely lady she helped us with breakfast and even cooked a typical Guatemalan dish for us. The house was lovely and spacious. It has a beautiful garden with a pool which we used every day and even more incredible was the view of the volcano. Overall it was a great experience, we would definitely stay there again.
