Beautiful quiet location. Everything we wanted, beautiful trees and peaceful surroundings. Loved the “at home” feeling of the place. Kitchen appliances were super clean and top notch.

Bob's place is a magical little cabin hidden in the woods of Guerneville. It's a beautiful space that is artistically decorated and very comfortable. There are many whimsical elements from the 70s, and the views are stunning. It worked out great as a short getaway for our family of 4. A relaxing soak in the hot tub was very welcome at the end of the day. We would love to go back someday.

Absolutely wonderful house. Beautiful, well-appointed, secluded, peaceful, majestic. Comfortable beds and great kitchen. Everything was great and we will happily return!

This is our 2nd stay 2 years later. And we soooo looked forward to it. Super cozy and the hotub never fails to leave an everlasting experience to remember. Staying here for us is like being in a home away from home and sharing it with my sister and 2 kids made it even sweeter! Chad as always was accommodating, genuine, thoughtful and hospitable beyond measure. Staying here is a treat and definitely memorable. There’s a great vibe within the people that reside in this neighborhood we absolutely love everytime we visit Monte Rio. Chad included…lol. Oh yeah forgot to mention down the hill to the left resides a fairy ring. Great photo session. Pretty magical!

The views from all parts of the property are spectacular, and the sense of privacy at this “highest point” location are wonderful. The home is very well appointed with everything one needs. It feels like a home, not a rental. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!

We had a great, cozy winter stay. The fireplace was very charming and helped keep the upstairs toasty! The hot tub was also perfect in the cool, wet weather. Can’t wait to head back again soon!

We loved this place! We wanted a peaceful private getaway for our anniversary and it was perfect for the two of us and our 2 dogs. The house had everything we needed to cook, stay cozy, and have a relaxing weekend away. It was pouring rain for half our stay and although it limited what we could do, it was very peaceful in the house watching the rain and the creek through all the windows. Sitting in the hot tub with the sound of the creek morning or night was so relaxing. They even had bowls, beds, and toys for the dogs. Per another’s review since there isn’t a smart tv, we brought our own HDMI cord so we could stream movies from our laptop. Perfect for our rainy night in. Can’t wait to come back in the summer time!

We were very impressed with this home. The location was great, the home was so nice the ad does not do it justice. It was conveniently located close to town but far enough away to enjoy the forest. I highly recommend it. We will definitely return. Sandy

What a beautiful, private little cabin on the California coast! I love the Mendocino area, and this gem is tucked away in the trees. I stayed with my dog and really appreciated having a fenced in front yard, and he absolutely loved romping around and zooming down all the little pathways that line the garden. The street is very quiet and safe, very few cars, so I felt extremely safe walking on the street everyday. Peter was a very kind host, he was proactive and would check in with me to see if I needed anything, which I also appreciated. I would definitely stay here again, a very sweet little cabin nestled in the forest.

Judy is a terrific host. Was very responsive and the house was spotless when we arrived. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing weekend, then I would recommend renting this house.

This Airbnb was fantastic. Cozy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Everything was perfect, from the comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen to the beautiful location. We felt right at home and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

This cabin was the perfect little getaway spot! We loved the fire pit and indoor fireplace alike. The home was cozy, warm, and comfortable. However there was one significant downside to this property: the neighbors. Within 10 minutes of arriving we had a neighbor asking if we owned the car parked down the street (it was not; we parked where the instructions told us to), and we later had a different neighbor come and tell us to wrap it up when we were enjoying our time by the fire pit. We weren’t being particularly loud and this was prior to the 10pm quiet hours. It was a little off-putting, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying our time. The property itself is welcoming, the neighborhood roads are beautiful, and the Russian River Pub is a must visit. I-Chuan Karen was very kind and communicative host and despite the neighbors, I would stay there again!

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely perfect! Nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, it offered the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The natural surroundings were full of greenery and calming sounds all around. Inside, the cabin was unequivocally cozy, clean, and extremely thoughtfully designed! We loved spending evenings in the fun yet comfortable living room area while ~especially~ enjoying its masterpiece: the projector screen! Other particularities that are MUST to be experienced are the record player, the fireplace, and last but not least: the hot tub!

A breath of fresh air, this sanctuary cottage was a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the moment. The cottage had high end charm to it, with wonderful selections of cabinetry, countertops, furniture, towels and linens. Exceeded expectations.

We are so glad we found Heather and her rustic cabins, it’s the only place to stay when visiting Lake Pillsbury. Such a unique location with a fascinating history, a much needed break from the city life. Our cabin had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children, was spotless with very comfortable beds! The shared kitchen had everything you could possibly need We spent 4 days relaxing at the private pound, taking bike rides down the winding roads, stargazing, and exploring the trails. Heather checked in with us daily and was able to share the history of her land and the cabins. A beautiful location that everyone needs to visit!

The cabin was so lovely and cozy! The wood stove/fireplace was truly amazing, the cabin was so warm and toasty throughout the night. Laurie, Greg and Skip are all so great and accommodating. The bathrooms were always so clean, with hot water showers. The location is amazing, everything is close by: gorgeous hikes at Hendy Woods State Park, and near some amazing wineries for wine tasting. We absolutely loved our time here!

Joanne was very responsive and had a great guide of the area. She meet us at checkin and did a walkthrough with us to make sure we were good. Our favorite part about the place: SUPER dog friendly!!! The place was entirely enclosed so since our pups arnt fully off leash trained yet it made it a safe and fun experience for us. Will definitely stay here again, felt like a home away from home and would be awesome for retreats with bigger groups since 5 cabins too!!!

AMAZING! I arrived at Libby and Pam’s home and I literally did not leave! The immense amount of attention to comfort makes it very hard to stray far! I enjoyed every moment in this home, from the big comfy blankets on the couch, to the cloud like bed and pillows, and the incredible quiet and tranquility from the sitting areas outside, I could have stayed here forever! You are surrounded by nature! Not only that, the home is amply decorated and hosts some very fun reads and art! I would highly recommend for any trip in or near the Monte Rio area! I have been traveling cross country from Ohio and this is the first place I got a good nights rest every night!

Fantastic place, lovely view, we didn't even want to leave. There is a little store, a cute coffee shop and a restaurant just a walk away. So much nature around you. The place itself was stocked with everything we needed and kept so clean! The bathroom had heated floors which was awesome as it was cold. We even got to use the fireplace, and an old school record player! Our pup had so much fun just staring out into the wilderness as well!

We loved staying at Noah and Joe's place! The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. The cabin was very clean and it included all the services listed in the description. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our cats with us. They loved it as well, chasing birds and playing in the trees. The place also has public pools that are very clean with clear water. Joe was very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time relaxing and in contact with nature.

Arriving late at night after a last minute booking was a challenge on dirt roads with a 2 wheel drive but the instructions were clear and worth the experience of staying in an enchantingly serene cabin/hut. This little hut located on McNab ranch, the backroads of Ukiah county, was perfectly constructed to meet ones needs: outside kitchen counter, sink, and shower, little bed and cot, a writing desk and shelves for towels and lanterns. It’s the kind of place one would use to get away to, to finish a book or do deep meditation at. The hut doesn’t have a bathroom, so be aware that you have to dispose of the bucket in the compost bin, but to anyone who’s ever roughed it or owned a dog, this isn’t even a setback. In the morning, I was awoken by a squirrel hiding its nuts on the roof, seller’s jays and quail. Shar and Lea are both kindred souls, two fairies that maintain the harmony on their sacred land.. We have stayed at the Farmhouse previously, and as usual, we appreciated our time there. Being at Dale and Linda’s country home is like being on retreat. The beauty of the surrounding nature, and the privacy is unmatched. Thank you once again for the respite from our urban lives.

I picked this great location to take my girlfriend for her 51st birthday. Also, brought our Aussie Cattle dog. Can't say enough about the location. Extremely peaceful and scenic. What stood out for us was the meadow in the back yard where we sat and enjoyed breakfast and dinner surrounded by the forest. The location also sits right at the level where the ocean weather and inland weather connect. It was not too foggy or too sunny. The sunken tub in the upstairs bathroom was much appreciated and the wood stove made the evenings even better. Fort Brag was only 10 min away which was perfect in regards to going to beaches and restaurants. My girlfriend, now fiancé, will definitely be going back.
