Chalet vacation rentals in Gruyère District

This is the fourth time we've been there. We are three or four families with children, and each time we find the place spot spotless. Each time, we have all the comforts we need, both for our children and for ourselves. Communication with the host is always great. Can't wait to go back for a fifth time! We would recommend it to anyone.

Comfortable, spacious, well-equipped cottage in a beautiful setting. Check-in is independent and the host is responsive if there are any questions. The area is full of sites to discover. We recommend for a family holiday.

Nice location for getaways. Cable car (telecabine) is in close proximity. Easy ride up to the mountains. In overall Gruyeres has a lot of activities. So, if you are looking for active recreation there are places to visit - skiing in Moleson, Gruyeres Château, Museums (Tibet, Giger, Cailler Chocolate House), Thermal Baths in Charmey, authentic fondeau in Château d'Oex etc. Chalet has great location for all the activities. For Chalet itself - it is fitted with everything needed, comfortable enough and offers nice view on the village below and the mountains. Access is also easy thanks to given instructions. We appreciated a fireplace in chalet during cold evenings, thanks to host for providing a stock of firewood.

We had an amazing time in this lovely romantic secluded chalet. Nadine was very quick responding and a lovely host. We had complete privacy throughout our stay, the only neighbours are some cows in the fields. If you are looking for a quiet private getaway this chalet is perfect. Lovely hikes up the mountain right behind the chalet and 15min walk down to the village of Rougemont

"Super chalet near the lake - pure relaxation!" The stay at this chalet was just fantastic. The chalet was very clean, comfortably furnished and well equipped. You can tell that we worked here with a lot of love for detail. The host was very friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for peace, nature and relaxation, this is the place to be. I will definitely return!

We had a a dream holiday staying at Bruno’s incredible house.

We enjoyed our vacation at Schwarzsee very much! The house is in a great location by the stream with a large garden, in which the children could romp around. It's very quiet, but still very close to everything. The house is very well equipped - especially the many toys inside and outside were appreciated. The stairs to the upper floor are very steep and a bit of a challenge with small children, but quite manageable. Jonas was always immediately available for help and tips - merci and see you next time!

A sweet chalet, very clean and cozy. Communication with Vera and Nick was extremely friendly and straightforward. We felt completely comfortable – absolutely recommended.

The chalet is well located, in a peaceful area, not far from services and ski resorts. The chalet is big, nicely decorated and the kitchen has everything you need. We had a great time. Thanks Nicolas!

Really enjoyed our stay at La Taupiniere - a lovely home from home in a beautiful quiet valley. Sarah’s recommendations were really helpful and the pool and sauna was such a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Charlotte’s chalet was a perfect place to stay for a summer week in the mountains. Plenty of space for the kids to explore outside and the appartment itself was fantastic. Super cozy, very comfortable beds, well appointed and great use of the space. It’s an ideal place for a family or two couples. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Cesare's place was exactly as advertised. Great location, a short walk from Gstaad's train station and town center. Both Cesare and the property manager, Francesco, were very communicative and their instructions were clear. Francesco also had helpful recommendations for skiing and equipment rentals. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

We celebrated a 30th birthday in the chalet in a larger group. This place has something magical, as you are completely among yourselves and there is a lot to discover in the chalet. The view is simply breathtaking and the chalet has everything you need for your stay. We immediately felt at home as the fireplace was already burning when we entered the house. The hosts are always available if you have any questions. I highly recommend this chalet.
