Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Grimes County

This rental was absolutely beautiful and the perfect spot for me and my family and dogs. I got married 8 minutes down the road at Camp Hosea and when my previous air bnb canceled only 3 weeks prior Valerie was immediately responsive and ready to take us in. What seemed like a stressful situation at first finding an Airbnb so last minute turned into a blessing in disguise. The stay could not have gone better and was amazing! ❤️

The stay at Brandy’s ranch was perfect. 2 couples, in for a weekend at A&M. The space was perfect to relax and enjoy the peace of the country atmosphere. The layout and amenities are all very nice. Great kitchen with everything required to cook and eat in, a wonderful sitting area and comfortable beds and bedrooms. The bathrooms are luxurious and all the linens and bedding were high quality, clean and ready for us. Everything was perfect to include the passing by of the cattle and horses and the evenings seeing deer around the ranch. We were able to take the short drive back to A&M and spend the morning at the Bush Library and have lunch before a rest at the ranch and heading back to the game in the evening. We highly recommend staying here and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere and Brandy’s restful and lovely ranch house. Perfect for a group, family or friends.

The cozy cottage was so perfect for our girls trip. We wanted to relax and just enjoy quality time together and Lauren’s place facilitated it so well. It was easy to get to and we felt so welcomed! There were cozy lamps on in every corner of the house, beautiful pictures on the tv screen and a crackling electric faux fireplace that just hugged us when we walked in. There are so many little details that made our stay feel luxurious and cozy. From the wonderful hand soaps, to the fluffy bath robes, rugs, blankets, pillows, towels and the bed! We slept so well. I especially loved that the house had exactly what we needed and not a ton of other stuff. I really felt calm there.

Great place to stay! Close to everything we needed. Nice open floor plan. Pet friendly was a plus since we travel with our dogs. Overall the place was great stocked with all the essentials if needed. Nice neighborhood, hope to be back next year!

Wow. Just WOW! Our favorite air bnb to date. Our weekend was so peaceful, and everything we had hoped for. We were able to read in the hammock, watch classic movies, go on long hikes throughout the property (even to the impressive gardens and chickens), watch the birds, and feel connected with nature again. We got the post vacation blues when pulling out for the drive back home. This place truly is like the name “Hidden Gem”. We hope to stay here again someday.

The place is huge and has many bedrooms. The living room, which is very old-fashioned yet very comfortable and livable, was very comfortable. Two beds are on the first floor, and two are on the second. There are three bathrooms. The one upstairs is very unique but works well. It's perfect for family and college kids as well. It is located near the downtown area.

The house is comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked and great for cooking. Most of all Kathy has been great and patient with us throughout our entire stay. We appreciate all her help.
