Including free use of the shared pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room and gym. There is a bar/restaurant on the park. There is a children’s game room with table tennis, cinema club and playground. Situated between Keswick and Ullswater (15 minutes to each), off a quiet country road with quick access to the A66.

Melkridge is a friendly hamlet &spectacular countryside. We have a ground floor double bedroom and ensuite shower room. Family and dog friendly stunning barn conversion.

Bookings are from Friday to Friday. 2 king size bedrooms, one ensuite with a further 2 single beds and wc on the mezzanine level. A bathroom with shower over the bath. Fully furnished kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher. We have a dog secure garden and a shed to lock bikes in. We are between 10/30 mins from 3 of the 7stanes cycling trails and 6 miles from several beaches or hills for walking. You are 5 mins drive away from the market town of Castle Douglas.

Knott House Farm is in a wonderful little house. Location wise it is an easy walk in to Keswick and the lake. Many great walks near by, we did Skiddaw which is out the back plus there is a pub over the road which did good evening meals and a cafe at the bottom of the garden which did great breakfasts. All in all very good.

We had a fantastic time at Rockliffe, helped by sunshine all day long for a week! The hosts, Julian and Theo were very friendly and helpful, they even showed us around their beautiful garden! The bungalow is fabulous, clearly been recently renovated, with excellent facilities, cooker, washing machine, plenty of hot water etc. The beds were very comfortable. There is an outside covered area at the back of the bungalow, completely safe and ideal for leaving bikes, shoes etc. There is a large garden to use, with table for al fresco dining, and lovely lawn with garden chairs, mainly for sun bathing for us! The beach is a short walk away, and it was great to cool off after long hot days! Dave

This place was charming and warm. If you are looking for a peaceful place to enjoy the country, look no further. It has wonderful people, great accommodations, clean, comfortable and affordable. If I could rate it higher, I would. Also, I fully recommend the breakfast, beautiful and delicious. It is a dining experience.

We loved our stay at The Vault! It was cosy, clean, and had everything we needed. Fantastic location too being only a 10 minute walk in to the centre of town. Alex was very responsive too if I had any questions! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Hexham/the surrounding areas :)

Amazing stay, everything exactly as was described. Perfect location close to all restaurants . Transport links nearby. Ambleside pier just a short pleasant walk away. Beautiful views from the bedroom and living room windows. Amazing host too. Very proactive and had a detailed set of instructions to reach the car park , clear precise instructions for check in and a well compiled guide for local attractions. Flat was clean and well organised and thoughtfully arranged . One of the best places I’ve been, very well worth the price. Very happy to recommend.

We had a lovely relaxing week at Trefoil Treat. Great area for long dog walks, all well explained in the hosts book. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed including a lovely welcome pack for us and our two dogs. Wendy was a first class host and very welcoming. We would highly recommend this cottage for anyone coming to the area.

So grateful to Susan for hosting us at very short notice. Spent 3 nights here and would have loved to have stayed longer. The house was warm and cosy, the kitchen was well appointed with plenty of utensils etc to cook family meals. The lounge was very comfortable and the bedrooms also comfortable. Hot tub a definite bonus and spent every evening watching the stars. Lovely pub approx a mile away. Could have walked it but weather not ideal, served delicious food. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
