Wow - this house is the BEST! My friends and I stayed at Holly's home in Maine this summer, and we absolutely loved it. Despite being pretty deep in the woods in Maine, the house was squeaky clean and spider-free. The check-in instructions were super clear, and we had no issues getting to or into the house. The boats are fabulous, and we greatly enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the lake. Also, the ping pong table, firepit, and large backyard were awesome to have. Holly and her properly managed Skylar were of huge help throughout the trip when I needed directions/instructions/assistance. Thank you Holy for sharing your awesome home with us!!

We came to Dragonwood for a small family getaway and had the most amazing time. Carrie was an extremely attentive host and we were never lacking in activities, even when the weather was on the dreary side. We’re looking forward to booking another stay next year!

This home was perfect for a long weekend with a group of ten and two dogs! We had plenty of space for everyone and enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen, playing pool in the basement, working on a puzzle in front of the wood stove, and soaking in the hot tub. We would definitely return in the future.

The Hebron house is beautiful and has such a relaxing setting. Our group had a wonderful time exploring Monson and the surrounding area during our stay. HIghly recommended and we'd love to come visit again!

We had a lovely time at Ellen‘s home with four adults and two kids enjoying a last few days of summer vacation. Our family enjoyed using the paddleboard and canoes to spend time on the water. The beach was perfect for swimming too. We also loved the walking paths along the pond and all of the benches and picnic spots. Having all of the games and roomy indoor space was very helpful on a rainy morning. Ellen left many helpful instructions. Thank you and we hope to return again!

Had a fantastic family gathering and will definitely book again in the future if needed. Great location. We enjoyed the space even though it was winter and we didn’t use the outdoor space. I imagine a summer visit would be fabulous!

Beautiful place

It was a cozy cottage on the lake. The house was beautiful, fully equipped and the scenery was spectacular. Everything you needed to relax and enjoy time with family; there were 3 of us. Outdoor grilling, fire pit to make smores at night, night-time star gazing, steps away to swim, kayak and watch and listen to the loons.

A fantastic spot right on Moosehead Lake. The house has everything you need and the yard is perfect for being outside and on the lake. I loved how Kahla provides information on the area from restaurants to hiking to scenic drives to the moose hang out spots. The information was very helpful and we did get to see the majestic moose.

Another perfect stay at what has come to be a home away from home for us. We've been coming here for years and are so grateful for the memories we make together in this little piece of paradise. Thank you, Chris, for always being an outstanding host.

We're repeat customers who love the cottage and the tranquil lakeside surroundings. Took canoe and kayak rides, swam, enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the dock and the porch. Stars at night were spectacular, loon calls haunting. Great place.

We loved our one week stay at the cabin! It was really wonderful living right at the lake, having breakfast outside, kayaking, going swimming almost every day and just enjoying the time doing nothing or reading. We also went hiking in the nearby State Park which was great. The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. Communication with Kim was really easy-going. We definitely recommend the cabin to anyone who wants to get away from everything for a while.

Great stay! The place was well stocked, clean and just as advertised. Such a great location near the river with a fire pit. We really enjoyed the screened in porch.

The place was great! The two burners on the left only work on high which was challenging for cooking. We thought the other house was included with the fee so I apologize for the confusion. We didn't have enough beds in the one house for the number of adults we scheduled.

Perfect location, 5min from downtown Greenville and close to the lake. Super clean and had everything we needed right in the cabin. Was in the 20's at night and the cabin was plenty warm. When planning another trip to Moosehead will book again in available.

Spent a long weekend at this cute little cabin. My husband and I loved it so much, we wish we could buy it! I do wish there would have been a shower instead of just a bathtub and it was dog friendly. We would love to come back every year but we have a growing family and hate to leave our furry friends behind. Overall, beautiful location, peaceful, and quite. Perfect for a getaway!

Amazing stay here with our two pups. The road the house is on is perfect to take a walk. All the watercraft were so fun, especially the stand up paddle board and paddle boat. There’s a lovely french pastry shop you can kayak to and such beautiful sunsets. We wished we could have stayed longer!

A must book airbnb if you want to stay in a perfect cozy cabin! Our stay at the Rockwood Retreat was amazing! This place is quintessential northern Maine living. The house is extremely cozy and quiet with the perfect cabin decor. From the comfy beds to the soft linens, to the outdoor fire pit and chairs, this place had everything we wanted and more! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and the coffee bar area was so perfect. Our favorite place to hang with a coffee in hand was the upstairs book nook. The location couldn’t be beat either with a view of the lake from the house and deck. It was a short drive into Greenville center too for shops, groceries, and restaurants. The hosts were super responsive and extremely helpful in recommending places to go check out. If you are considering booking a getaway to northern Maine don’t miss out on this place! You will love it just as must as we did.

If you are looking for a cute, remote cabin getaway, then this is absolutely the place to look. The cabin was super cute and cozy, very clean, and had everything we could need to enjoy our getaway. Kerr was super friendly and responsive to our questions, check-in was very easy, and overall we just had an amazing time. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful getaway home in the woods. The view especially of the sunrise is spectacular. We loved being there.
