Lovely place to stay! Great view of the lake. The mattress was firmer than my preference, but still comfortable. Sara was very responsive to all messages and helpful to offer recommendations within the city. They stocked the apartment with snacks and movies age appropriate for our children. Little details that were very much appreciated. Great place to stay.

Downtown is just 10 minutes away by taxi. Everything was well organized. Outside was really cold but heating system works well. Beds are comfortable. Nearby grocery is “independence” and 10 minutes walk.

Excellent cabin! Excellent experience! And excellent service! Everything was perfect and ready to go. Will definitely rent this cabin again.

We stayed at Sasha’s boathouse for three nights in December. The house is well located in the old town. It’s walking distance to the brewery and bullocks seafood restaurant. Sasha was a very responsive host-she was easy to contact, provided excellent recommendations for local to operators and restaurants. In particular, Cristiano who took us out in the evening hunting for northern lights was exceptional. Our experience at Sasha‘s place was exactly what we expected based on the photos and other reviews. Yellowknife is very cold at this time of year. The houseboat is lovely and warm though. Taxis are plentiful in Yellowknife (and they all take credit card, which is helpful if like us you arrive without any Canadian dollars). Given it was so cold outside we tended to use taxis more than walking. Overall, we loved our stay in Yellowknife.

We had a wonderful time at Isis’s place. It was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped! Old Town is an excellent location, it’s historical and there’s plenty to do both inside and out. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to. We appreciated Shea and Isis’s attentiveness to make sure we had everything we needed. Excellent in every way.

Erin was such a great host! Green Haven was such a comfortable place for our family during our Yellowknife stay. Warm and cozy, these southern Californians were comfy despite the -20 F temps outside. We had two kids (5 and 6), myself & my husband, and his dad in his 70s. Note that all bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs which was a little challenging for my elderly father-in-law but as long as you know it and it works for your group, it was fine for the rest of us. Walkable to the downtown area. Comfortable beds and linens. Really loved the cozy pellet stove. Kitchen was easy to navigate, we made several basic meals. Check-out was simple, without a long list of things we had to do like some places. And definitely the highlight was Erin herself as an incredibly gracious, responsive, lovely host. Would definitely want to return to Green Haven for any future trip to Yellowknife!

Great Airbnb! Absolutely recommend. Extremely clean and cozy. Host is very responsive and helpful. Easy lake access in the winter, which we walked across to get to the Old Town. We saw the most beautiful Northern lights on the trail a few feet away from the house. Really peaceful. The Host's guide is the best I've ever seen on AirBnb. Booking is worth it for this alone.

Michel is extremely friendly and helpful. He gives great recommendations, funny to talk to, and knowledgeable about the town's history. The stay at Michel's place was one of the best and pleasant experiences that we've ever had with Airbnb. His place's very clean and with lots of amenities. It has easy access to Lake Niven. Michel offered very much needed help many times and we are forever grateful for his hospitality that makes our short trip memorable. We would love to give 10 stars for this stay if we could.Thanks Michel!! 😊

I highly recommend Tamar's place! Its even more beautiful than the pictures. Tamar has put a great deal of thought and care into making the space welcoming, comfortable and enjoyable. Loved that she provided the tea and coffee as well as all the spices and condiments we needed. Lots of hot water, comfortable beds, big living room filled with books, ornaments and even a Christmas tree! The kitchen had absolutely everything you could want to cook your meals. The artwork she has in her place enhanced the apartment. The view was incredible and it's in an area that is completely walkable. One of the nicest Airbnbs we have stayed in.
