Vacation rentals with lake access in Great Barrier Reef

This is the second time we have stayed at Quail and Jessy’s and we will be back again on our next holiday! Easy check in, great communication and so is always so clean. Thanks again guys!

Best Air bnb we've ever experienced! Unbelievable location First class equipped kitchen ... Amber has literally thought of everything. All the little touches that make it a home away from home! Firstly the layout of the house has been well thought out and suited our party of two families of all ages. Enough space for everyone to spread out but excellent to all gather on the deck or in the huge living area! We just loved it and communication with the host was excellent. Would definitely recommend this property and host to everyone.

Oleander Escape was a lovely getaway to the tablelands. The house itself was cosy and comfortable with gorgeous views of the lake. The property was also very easy driving distance from yungaburra and other attractions. Would highly recommend!

We just finished up an amazing 1.5 weeks at Renee's beautiful place. We're a family of 4 (2 teenagers, 2 adults) and this house was perfect! We had enough room to spread out but also great common areas to share meals, conversation and games. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking - dishes, many different appliances, pots/pans as well as basic staples like olive oil. The outdoor spaces were lovely; the landscaping is beautiful and the large deck became our favorite place to hang out and watch the river, butterflies and birds. The layout was great for us - two of the bedrooms are connected to the main house via the deck so it gave everyone their own space. We had a chance to go swimming in the river which our kids loved. We arrived to Cairns very early & Renee was gracious enough to allow us to check in early which we appreciated after 28hrs of travel! We would definitely stay here again - we were sorry to leave!

Great view and private setting, very easy to get inside and they were always fast to respond to any questions. Would definitely stay there again.

The accomodation was beautifully presented with lots of little welcoming touches. There was plenty of space and thoughtful additions to make our stay memorable. It was exactly what we hoped it would be and more! Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.

Lovely property, it's modern, spacious, super clean, surrounded by gorgeous gardens, great pool area, and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Track thru to 4 Mile Beach is mere steps away. Quick drive into Port Douglas, so convenient location. Would stay at John's place again 😊

Stayed for two weeks working at the hospital, good 30 minute walk each way along the esplanade. So close to the botanic gardens too. Good pools to swim in. Host was thoughtful and responsive when I couldn’t get the wifi working, fixed it in a flash. Definitely would stay here again. Just a note for those not used to bugs: put any edible rubbish in a bag in the fridge till you take the rubbish out, to avoid bugs. Worked just fine.

A home away from home. An amazing place to stay. Judi and David made us feel truly at home and nothing was too much to ask. By the end of your stay they are friends rather than air bnb hosts. Everything you could ever need was in there. We would definitely visit here again.

Lovely space to relax after catching up with family all day. Perfect size and couldn’t have asked for anything more for my partner and I. Karen was a great host and will definitely look to stay again next time we are in Cairns.

The unit was very clean and tidy 10/10, loved the little extras like biscuits & jams, was very well presented with beautiful decor and comfortable beds, lovely unit to relax and unwind.

Well located. Very clean with everything you need. This apartment is not part of Allure and is better appointed, cared for and a good view. Harmony is on hand to help you, if needed.

Dale was delightful and helpful. A beautiful serene place, we saw a platypus, and fireflies came into our room every night. Fresh eggs from Dale's hens. A really lovely experience. Absolute magic

The cottage was excellent, nicely furnished with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was adequate for our needs with good cooking facilities, a Nespresso Virtuoso pod machine plus pods. Nick was a very responsive host and sorted out a few minor challenges such as the microwave dying . It’s a beautiful location and the cottage is well appointed. High quality Sealy posturepedic beds and excellent quality linen. We will be back. Highly recommended

The Sugar Shack is a charming and truly comfortable oasis of calm and beauty convenient to much of what the Port Douglas and surrounding region has to offer. Everything about the shack is as described, clean, functional and easy to use. Importantly at this time of the year (December) when the heat and humidity have kicked in the shack is easily cooled. No surprises. Great atmospheric views of the mountains and plenty of interesting bird life around the property. Beautiful creek with clear water. An additional bonus was being able to bring along our young retriever and watch her enjoy the freedom of the well-kept paddocks and the security of a fenced cottage garden around the shack. Delicious eggs from their contented hens too! Kylie (who met us) and Nicki were efficient and friendly and very helpful with their local knowledge and the entire experience was very welcoming. Great hosts!
