Will definitely be staying here whenever I visit KC again! Place was comfortable, very clean, and in a very convenient spot in Kansas City with many coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance. Was easy to communicate with Savannah and appreciated her thorough instructions on check in/check out. Highly recommend, 10/10!

Beautiful apartment & nice amenities. Appreciated the snacks, and bottles of water in the fridge, very welcoming. We appreciated the prompt response when trying to enter the building. We loved the bed-- so comfy. The apartment is decorated very nicely, reminded me of HGTV show. It was nice to be able to walk to the show at the T-mobile center. I would highly recommend Rob and Brenda as hosts- they were wonderful.

Love this unique place. The food options are such a great bonus with the nearby sports bar and cafe. Love the town and the lake is gorgeous.

Chris's place is a hidden gem. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Close to downtown but in a quiet and mostly industrial neighborhood. Chris was super responsive to our questions, too. Would highly recommend.

We love this little apartment in Bates City It is close to family! The apartment is cozy. The kitchen has everything you need to be able to cook! The beds were comfortable and clean. Started snowing while we were there and I had the best view from the kitchen window!! Karen and Weston were quick to respond when I had questions We will be back

We have stayed at the Orange Door many times. It is a walkable distance to downtown Parkville. The location is great for day trips into Kansas City to visit museums, memorials, or just enjoy the parks. We have also taken day trips to places an hour away, knowing we had a place to return. English Landing Park is a few blocks away and a great place to walk, run, or just go for a stroll. We also frequent Parkville Coffee House. Bill has clear instructions, is friendly, responsive, and makes us feel right at home. He was helpful during our first couple of visits providing ideas for places to eat and things to do and see. We have not needed suggestions as much on our most recent visits. We will surely try to book a reservation at the Orange Door House the next time we visit the area.

Place was warm and cozy on inside. Nicely decorated for Christmas. Comfortable bed. Train tracks at edge of backyard may cause issues if you are a light sleeper.

Loved staying here! Just like the advertisement says, you can hear some movement upstairs. For us, it was no big deal and the noise was similar to living in an apartment with no late-night or early-morning noise. The appliances were modern, the space was plentiful, and the king bed was incredibly comfortable! We definitely plan to stay here again when we head back that way.

Great stay. Everything was clean, and smelled fresh. The playground nearby was an added bonus for our 3 year old. Would stay again!

Easy transaction Good location for us. We Ubered everywhere but if you like Q39 for bbq it’s walkable. A few taverns and avenue 39 brewery nearby. Starbucks is close as well. We stayed in January when the temps were in the 20s at night and the heater worked very good. We never ran out of hot water for the shower. Updated kitchen.

Kristen was a great host. She was very responsive, thoughtful and helpful. The home is lovely and is well represented by the photos and description. It has easy access to downtown. We highly recommend this home for your visit to Kansas City. Dave

Regi’s property was very welcoming and comfortable. Everything was completely clean and tidy upon our arrival and we were very pleased with everything.

We had an overall great stay. There are just a few things I wish I'd been better prepared for, which are outlined in the 'cons' below. Pros: Very clean, aesthetically pleasing, quiet, comfortable, and spacious. Plenty of blankets and pillows for the five of us. Kid-friendly amenities. Cons: No room-darkening blinds and the area is very well-lit 24/7. Kitchen only contains the very basics - no kitchen hand towel, cooking oil/spray, or spatula for flipping eggs (just stirring spatulas). The location didn't feel entirely unsafe but we hoped for and expected a little nicer of a neighborhood.

Neda was a friendly and communicative host, helpful and responsive with everything. We loved the location, especially the parking space and the nearness to the Nelson. The well stocked kitchen utensils was a bonus for us as was the coffee and the jetted tub, which we really enjoyed. Highly recommend this beautiful space and this great host if you come to this beautiful city.

It was a nice place and had ample room. Trenton was very responsive and was a very easy to work with host definitely would recommend!

Nice place. Good location. The front door lock was wonky but the host was responsive and had a back up key on site. The bed was comfortable. Place was super clean. The only negative was that there is little sound proofing with neighbors so we heard their TV, footsteps, nose blowing, etc. The neighbors seemed to go to bed early on a Friday night though so it was all good! We would stay again and do recommend it.

We booked the loft for a girls trip. It was so spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, the living space was great, and we had all the amenities. Check out was quick and easy. We had a great time and would definitely book again if we ever decide to go back to Excelsior springs!
