100 % happy with the house. Vish is the lady I was contacted by, she is very helpful and responsive. She organised the taxi from the airport for us as well as a car rental. I’d recommend that car rental company as well :) the house isn’t fancy and maybe could do with a bit of renovation BUT I think it’s a fair condition for the price. If you want a fancy place, you welcome to pay more, there are plenty in Mauritius:) the location is good, very close to the beach, but I would recommend to rent a car.

An above all fantastic location. The property is right on a great beach that is not so crowded. The property itself is a large tropical garden. We were also thrilled with the fruits that were brought to our taste. The landlords Noele and Hugues are great, extremely friendly people who also speak German quite well. They live on the same property and are always on hand with advice. The house staff is also very friendly and helpful and cooks well! The house itself, as well as the furniture, is a little older but okay. One of the bedrooms does not have air conditioning. WIFI works well on the ground floor. Only 15 minutes drive from the airport. But you can hardly hear the planes. Overall, we felt very, very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Visham has been an outstanding host, with flexible check-in and great communication. The place is very well maintained and the amenities are good. you also get to see airplaines flying low, which was a great attraction. I definitely recommend if you need a place in the area.

Not sure what is the definition of luxury, we rented more expensive houses, none of them reeked that vintage feeling of this typical family home, decorated with care and taste. Everything was clean and tight, Julie and Yannick were lovely and helpful. At night sitting on the porch under a hot tamarin moon, looking at the calm shadowy mountain, we just felt home.

Five of us stayed at Marion’s place for two weeks in a work stint in Mauritius. It was perfect. Marion was super helpful and accommodating, even helped us get a car for the stay. Wendy the cleaner was also amazing! Thank you so much!

what a gem of a place. easy parking, easy self access arrival. stunning beach right nearby. at the end of the flic en flac restaurant strip so perfect location really. perfectly serviceable supermarket with good opening hours in town too. ian answered all our questions and helped us out great!

Quiet and clean place

Very nice villa in the heart of the Black River forest. Soothing and refreshing place. Very nice house and above all very functional. Everything is there. The photos are in line with reality. We had a pleasant stay at Elisabeth's place. We'll be happy to go back!

The house is beautiful and the location is great. The view from the house was amazing overlooking Le Morne. Our children loved the pool and it was a perfect location for families. The neighborhood was very safe, there was local shops close by and grocery stores. We had some issues with plumbing and AC but the host was swift in their response and in trying to help us. We were satisfactorily compensated for the inconvenience. Would recommend.

we stayed with our two daughters for just over a week. at check-in we were upgraded to a better room with sea view from the private terrace. on request we were provided with a cot within less than one day. we can therefore 100% recommend arw as a host! our apartment (with 2 bedrooms) was super equipped. Powerful air conditioning in both bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful terrace with a small table and sea view, rooftop pool with great views, large pool in the garden was great for our children. the location was very good to explore the south and west of the island with short driving times. lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Best caffe so far in Mauritius at Kind Caffe just 5 minutes from the property. All in all, therefore the perfect choice for us!

We were delighted to go to Dorinne and Dean's. Indeed, Dean took care of everything to make sure we had a great stay. Roundtrip transfers to and from the airport. We rented the car from his place and we were delighted. Dean introduced us to Mauritian cuisine. Every day, succulent discoveries. We were happy to share meals with Dean , Dorinne , sometimes the children . Dean is also a hiking guide. We did the 7 waterfalls, BEAUTIFUL! We did Cambuse, Le Bouchon, the natural bridge: a wonder! The Ferney Valley hike is in a nice natural reserve. When we got home in the late afternoon, the pool welcomed us and once, a masseuse came to your home. One day, Dean lent us the bikes to go to Mahébourg (Monday market, great ). The beaches are heavenly. Our favorite is the Pointe d 'Esny and blue bay for the natural aquarium. great location, extra hosts, everything is there

We spent a weekend at Vicash's eco lodge and really enjoyed the peace, privacy and space. Warmly recommended if you are looking for a remote, tranquil, spacious and green place to stay, which also a quick and easy access to beaches and a commercial centre.

My flight was at 10pm and we checked out of our other accommodation on the North of the Island in the morning. We stayed at this Airbnb for only 90 minutes to freshen up and pack our bags properly before our long haul flight. It was exactly what we needed and got a fair price. For us it was better than spending the money on the Airport lounge facilities. Tip: When using sat nav, don't click on the directions button on the Airbnb app like I did. Follow the instructions in Kersley's message for Dodo store! He did tell me but I forgot. Thank you Kersley!

I really enjoyed my stay at there. The host was very helpful and discreet. The place was spacious and cozy. The location was ideal, as it was close to the airport and the main roads, making it easy to explore the south of Mauritius. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Mauritius

Fantastic location, we travelled all around the island but thought Peace Havens location was the best. We had great time, the house had everything we needed and the beach access was wonderful. Recommended.

The top floor has a great view of the sea (you can hear the waves crashing) and the balcony is large and very pleasant with lots of shade. I was on my own but the floor had 3 very comfortable bedrooms with plenty of power points. Each bedroom has very good air conditioning units that can cool the rooms vey quickly (useful as I was there at end of December). The whole floor is very quite and peaceful and the villa is less than 100m from the sea (note this area is not suitable for swimming). The villa is located in a small village so there is no supermarkets within walking distance but by car you can get to a large supermarket in 10 mins (Bo Valon Mall) or to a local small one in less than 5 mins). I would highly recommend eating at the villa as the hosts are superb cooks. Each night I had some of the best food I had eaten on the island - home made chicken curry and dal one night and another 2 nights I had a chicken biriyani and a fish curry - they will try and make what you like.
