Vacation rentals in Grand Fond

We recently stayed at Connie and Lorenzo’s charming Airbnb and it truly exceeded our expectations. The decor beautifully integrated modern elements and was cozy for a relaxing getaway. The elevation and large windows offer a beautiful view of Douglas Bay, Cabrits National Park, and Portsmouth. Take an early morning hike up to the Cold Soufriere and enjoy picturesque views of Morne Aux Diables and Les Saintes in south of Guadeloupe. The location was perfect for getting to local restaurants. Connie and Lorenzo were extraordinarily personable. We are already planning another trip.

Can’t recommend this airbnb enough. On check in Paulette met us and explained everything and walked us round the local restaurants giving us recommendations and introduced us to her family. She also left us lovely juice and banana bread. The Airbnb’s everything you could possibly need on your travels it’s really homely and great aircon. We loved this place and would love to return in the future.

Leonard's house was great value, peaceful and had everything we needed. Leonard arranged a round trip pick up to/from the ferry terminal, and he also arranged a day tour taxi driver. He was prompt in answering our questions and requests, and the instruction for checking in/out was clear and straightforward. 3 bedrooms were enough for 6 people, and we wish we had stayed longer. Will definitely stay here again.

I prefer places that are remote and immersed in the local culture. This place is on the south cape of the island, above the best restaurant around and offers unique experiences at your doorstep- two waters collide, volcanoes in eyesight, champagne reef a short distance away, whales who live year round not far and if you’re lucky like us, a meteor shower that lights up the sky. This unit is spacious with two bedrooms and two air conditioners that work very well. The washer dryer and out door patio were real luxuries. Things you should know: This is 220v unit. No atm or market nearby- so plan ahead and stop in city at proper bank to get currency and supplies. There are no point of sale vendors nearby so you need cash. If you want to enjoy local activities, coordinate through your host and make sure you work with a verified person. The prices are better that way from my experience! Bring sugar! Alt communication is normal here - looking forward to returning!

Nick’s place is absolutely incredible. If you think the pictures look great, wait until you see everything in person. The view is to die for. Book now, as you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful location on the wild east coast. Cottage had incredible views and waa well set up - bathroom & kitchen located seperate to this cottage. Host provided great info, was responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend spending some time on the property.

Very quiet but a little old accommodation, extremely nice welcome from Philson who picked us up from the meeting point ( we had no network or internet to reach him). We put us in contact with Aza to make indian river very early the next day ( only on the river).

Host was great polite, I’d go back and stay in a flash’ recommended first class, felt that comfortable I literally felt I was at home.

The accommodation is perfectly located for all those who are planning hikes to Boiling Lake, Fresh Water Lake or other activities in the National park. A natural pool invites you to relax. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be ordered in advance. authentic Creole cuisine. Rosalie and her husband conjured up the most delicious dishes for us.
