We had the best time! The cabin was perfect for our family. It was very clean and the constant sound of the stream was so peaceful. We enjoyed nearby hikes and fishing and relaxing on the porch swings. The host was great and cheeked in to see how our stay was. One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in. The only thing that would have made our trip better was if we stayed longer. My kids are already begging to go back.

We had such a great time and loved the cabin! The beds were comfy, cabin was cozy and we met some wonderful people! Everything that we needed was there. From firewood, skewers, lighters, etc! We were truly able to settle in and relax. We will absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends! Thank you for booking us with such short notice too!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The views from the house are incredible. It is very peaceful. The place was clean. Nina was very helpful and responsive when needed. We used the pool and hot tub, which was a short walk down the driveway. I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the area!

My family and I had a wonderful stay for 5 days over Christmas. upon arrival, we noticed that someone had spent their day decorating the property for the holiday, additional decorations inside, and erected a Christmas tree with ornaments. It was an awesome surprise for my 8 & 9 year old girls. The location is certainly removed from any businesse to buy those forgotten items. that said, the cabin was stocked with everything one might need might they forgotten to bring it. bravo! the on-site host was extremely hospitable and went over the top to see that we had a wonderful stay during Christmas.

We enjoyed our stay 100%! An excellent location, just on the bank of the Nantahala river. A 15-20 min drive to the Blue Ridge Pkwy overlooks, Bryson City. The Fontana Lake Dam is a little longer drive. The terrace, the fireplace and the hot tub are all amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at Casey's place! You can't beat the view from both outside and inside the house. We were very comfortable and loved having the hot tub and the pool table as fun extra amenities. We appreciated being able to bring our senior dog as well. We would absolutely stay here again!

So well, I did not stay at Daniel and Anna’s listing my parents did they were informed beforehand that it was a listing for a secondary party. My parents absolutely enjoyed it loved it said it was the most peaceful time they had and that they will definitely be going back. Daniel and Anna were very responsive proactive and excellent host

Dragonfly Cottage was a fantastic base camp to enjoy nature and the surrounding Joyce Kilmer Forest, Cherohala Skyway, and Lake Santeetlah. The home was absolutely spotless and had all the amenities we would need. Would not hesitate to book here again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy lake-view home! The view was absolutely stunning. The house was well-equipped and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. It was peaceful and felt like the perfect getaway from the city. The hosts were responsive and provided clear instructions, which made check-in and check-out super easy. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like board games and extra blankets. As far as the cleanliness we did notice a couple of issues, and it definitely didn’t take away from our overall experience. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature. We will be coming back next year!!

A great mountain getaway spot! Beautiful view, very peaceful, close to plenty of outdoors activities. The hot tub is a great amenity. There is a small store only 5 min away. As others have mentioned you’ll need a 4 wheel drive to get to the place.

We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the coffee bar, bathrobes, warm blankets and even beach towels for the hot tub. Your attention to detail truly made us feel at home. This place was exactly what we were looking for – peaceful, private, and secluded. After a day of hiking and exploring Bryson City, we decided to stock up on food and stay in for the rest of our 4-day trip. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, and I loved cooking while enjoying the stunning views of the Smoky Mountains. The fireplace and hot tub were both fantastic. The bed on the first floor was comfortable, though after a couple of nights, I developed a backache – it may have been a bit too soft for my liking. My son, however, was very happy with his bed on the second floor. One downside, which had nothing to do with the property itself, was the presence of dead trees, likely due to the timing of our visit. While the sunrises were beautiful, they didn’t quite live up to the pictures. Another small disappointment was the lack of hiking trails right within walking distance of the home. At least my dogs loved the daily hikes up and down the paved road.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at this cabin. You definitely need 4WD to get up the mountain as it is a steep, gravel road with a lot of washed out areas. The drive to the cabin itself is an adventure. Would highly recommend arriving during daylight until you are familiar with the drive up. Once you arrive at the cabin it is secluded with a breathtaking view of the mountains. We loved eating breakfast on the porch in the morning taking in the sounds and views. The host was great and assisted very quickly with a few issues we had. The cabin was cozy and the host was very thoughtful in little details around the cabin. Would love to stay here again.

It was a beautiful home and location! The views are breathtaking. Zack was responsive, we wanted to do kayaking and Zack recommended Marina that had kayaks available for rent just 10 min walking distance. The house had private hot tub on the deck, very clean. Everything is the house was spotless. Fire pit had firewood available. There was nothing negative, just the most perfect stay!

Totally enjoyed Tom and Christine's place! It was exactly as pictured and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful view. I really appreciated the well stocked kitchen since we cooked several meals for a group. The hot tub is such a nice feature and we appreciated having towels provided just for that. The driveway is steep but don't let that scare you off. They do a great job of communicating the directions and provide a video and tips for navigating. (And you wouldn't have the view if you weren't on top of a mountain!) We would definitely rent this place again!

The mountain top lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The only issue we had was the driveway was a little treacherous to motorcycles and trucks with a trailer. That needs to be explained more in the property description so people do not have unforeseen issues.

Enjoyed our stay so much! We have family in the area and great to be at Lake Santeelah. We could see some fireworks from the house on July 4th. It was a lovely destination. The view of the mountains and the lake is beautiful for the back deck!
