Beautiful week in murua. Very nice natural environment. The cottage is excellent, very functional and in perfect condition, very welcoming. Pilar excellent hostess, very friendly and well prepared. An ideal place to disconnect and at a reasonable distance from other points of the Basque country. I would definitely come back, a week we fall short

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house, decorated with great taste and impeccable cleanliness. A huge thank you to Irati for her exceptional hospitality: she was incredibly proactive from the first exchanges, and did everything to make our stay pleasant and simple. His little touches during our stay really touched us. The house is ideally located, between sea and mountain, with great walks quickly accessible by car. Gernika is only 5-6 minutes away for shopping, and Bilbao can be easily reached in half an hour for a nice urban getaway. A big thank you again – we'll be back with pleasure!

The cottage is truly amazing - we enjoyed the great pool, the house was clean and we had all we needed. Desiree is very friendly and responsive and quickly resolved any questions we might have. We loved the area and made a hike to Castillo de Allendelagua and read the interesting story about the templar knight Camilo de Carbajales. The house is close to the highway which takes you whenever you want to go. I can highly recommend the cottage and thank the host for the hospitality.

We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

Beautiful rural garden refuge in the heart of the Merindades, an area of impressive natural beauty and full of lovely medieval (from 10th century on) cities and towns. Santi has put a lot of time and effort to build his private refuge and we felt grateful he shared with us. Him and his wife were fantastic hosts and full of helpful suggestions. Their dogs Jackie & Chan were affectionate and playful. The place was huge, well decorated and spotless. All amenities, modern kitchen and cabinets, great bathrooms with a jacuzzi, working wood burning stove and a huge garden with a sitting/dining area and pond with ducks. Private parking of course. Butrera is a tiny town with a lovely romanic church but just a few miles of Villarcayo with plenty of restaurants and a Carrefour supermarket. A really unique place in our extensive experiences with Airbnb's. Our one regret is that we were there only two nights but we will be back to this astonishing area before international tourism discovers it.

We've spent two days on Christmas 12 adults, a boy and two dogs and it's been great. The house was as seen in the photos. The kitchen in the house downstairs is huge and we were able to eat all together without problems. Communication with Asier was quick and easy, he answered all our questions with infinite patience. I recommend it 100%.

Great place to stay to visit some of the surrounding beaches, Santiago was an amazing host and was always available to give recommendations. He also served us breakfast which was lovely

The stay at Carmen's place was great! Communication with her from the first moment has been very good and has clarified all the doubts that could have arisen for us! The house is great and has enough space for all the guests it marks in the description. We have gone with two babies under 2 years old and they have also really enjoyed the stay! The shame is that it has made us bad weather and we could not enjoy the garden but we did not have the bbq of which the accommodation has. All the stays are equipped with what you need and the heating in autumn winter works great! The environment of the place is beautiful so in good weather it has to be a joy to enjoy it! A lovely big house in the rolling hills of Cantabria. Full of every game and toy you could think of. Highly recommend

The house was very spacious and ideal for a large group from small to old, there was no lack of detail, there were things for children (cots, high chairs, park..) for dogs (feeder, drinker, bed…) and one of the bathrooms was enabled for older people and in a wheelchair. Also highlighting the very spacious outdoor space with swings and an outdoor dining area ideal for the whole family together including the four-legged ones. Also very close to interesting things to visit and the beach. That is, a very cozy house charm, I would definitely come back.

Our stay at Alberto's house was great. Perfect communication and space to spend a few days with the family. The large living room with the fireplace is wonderful. In addition, the surroundings are very pleasant for trips around the Gorbea area. We'll definitely be back. Regards.

if you want to disconnect from everything surrounded by nature this is the perfect place, everything is better than good ,we were super comfortable the house a pass of pretty and everything is great, thank you emelina for letting us have an amazing weekend.

It is located in a fantastic enclave surrounded by mountains, nature, animals... ideal for disconnecting and enjoying some fantastic vacation days. The house is fully equipped with everything you need (even children's play), we have also enjoyed the garden and the pool. We barely had mobile coverage and with the WiFi we were able to connect. Both Nerea and Verónica were very friendly and decisive. We felt right at home, we'll be back!

We absolutely loved our stay here. By far, this was our favorite Air B&B experience. Our hosts, Roberto and Laura, were so accommodating and provided extras to make us feel welcome and right at home. We felt like we were houseguests and not just customers. The oasis they created was so peaceful and beautiful we decided to stay on the grounds for an entire day during our visit. We are already planning a return trip for a lengthier stay.

Everything was fantastic, highly recommended. We were there practically the whole month of August and were VERY comfortable. The house is very close to everything, spectacular views and Maria is a sweetheart. I recommend it.

This house was absolutely breathtaking. Although it is not in a main city it is definitely close by and worth a stay. This place overlooks a beautiful vineyard and makes you feel like you're in a little oasis. The outdoor entertainment was amazing with an outdoor kitchen and barbecue that allows for wonderful nights enjoying your time. The views are incredible, the town is peaceful. Hosts were extremely kind, helpful and gave great recommendations.

We loved spending the weekend at Petraenea Casa Rural. We were 13 people and we entered perfectly and super comfortable, with several spaces to enjoy inside and outside the house. The whole house is very equipped and clean. There are several bathrooms, so we have organized ourselves without a problem. And the spectacular surroundings. A 10.

The house was very good as reflected in the photos. The playroom is great for the kids. The kitchen is very ample and well equipped. The area in which it is located allowed us to make many plans without the need to make large displacements. Verónica was phenomenal with us and was attentive to everything we asked of her.

Fabulous house... With all the amenities... Perfect for large groups. Very nice area in the middle of nature and very quiet, but at the same time very close to many tourist sites. Jaime is a very good host... He was attentive throughout the stay. Very nice sunsets from one of the porches.....

Fully equipped house, the first time I've found all kinds of kitchenware and cleaning products. Very spacious and comfortable, the porch and garden are a luxury, located in a very quiet village with sufficient services. Very well located, close to all areas of interest. Totally recommended. I'll definitely be back.
