River's Edge - Private Suite

Our home is located in historic Louisa County in Central Virginia on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, and smoking are not allowed. The internet is fast and cell phones work with WiFi calling. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

Our second floor apartment features a private entrance with all the things you may need while you are away from home. Michelle's place was more than I expected. I have close family friends very close by and felt so fortunate that her place was avaliable so close to the holidays. It was cozy and warm and felt like being at home with my family. We ate Lunch and Cafe Maidens. Wanted to visit the Cider house but ran out of time. But we will be back soon. This was exactly as described, which was exceptionally special experience. Thank you again and again.

Our family had such a wonderful experience! The home is so spacious, cool historic decor, clean, and beautiful property surrounding. Everywhere you look is beautiful scenery including the gorgeous horses and donkeys. Clear instructions and the communication with the host was excellent. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our family and will absolutely stay there again in the future!

This house is perfect for a small family looking to visit the area. The location was great for us as we have family nearby and normally have to stay over 30 mins away when we come. The house is beautifully decorated with cute farmhouse vibes to fit the area. We did have a few cleanliness concerns but we made the host aware and she was outstanding with her responsiveness and willingness to resolve any issues that were brought to her. I truly believe the issue was with the cleaning company not completing their job to the best of their ability but I trust that the host is going to take care of it for future guests. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Chelsea is a wonderful host with great communication and we would love to stay here again when we return.

A modern and well maintained home. The kitchen was very well equipped. The furniture was attractive and in excellent condition. The TV and audio system was top notch. The deck was very large and divided with one half screened in. We had access to 2 of 3 bedrooms and very nice bathroom. The garage and basement were also locked up. The only extra I would like to have had was a high voltage outlet for RV/EV use. Overall an excellent place to relax!
