This was a lovely place for our large family of 19 people to celebrate Christmas together. Ample space for everyone, wonderful patio to socialise together, fantastic pool for kids to swim in all day. Ivy and Annita kept everything spotless and we had an amazing time. Thank you Maureen.

On The Deck a home away from home & on the beach

Beautiful home with a stunning ocean view. We loved the private beach and big yard for the kids to play. Mark was very helpful with my questions and their home was prepared for the unexpected loadshedding. The road leading to the home is in a bad state. If you have a lower car like ours it was a bit difficult to drive on.

Patricia was an amazing host, super flexible and understanding. We needed to check in earlier and even accommodated us for that. When we experienced loadshedding, she had back up power so we were never in the dark. An overall amazing experience, will definitely be back again.

It all started with a very warm reception from Silke. The house is bigger than the pictures and opening the door to the back patio area (that looks onto beautifully lush gardens) you hear the cry of the fish eagle! The house is well appointed with a lovely bathroom. A supermarket if a 10 minute walk away and major shopping centres are a 5 min drive away. The surroundings are very tranquil and you can while away the hours reading and relaxing away form it all. Great quality bedding and towels make the stay amazing and you can lie in bed watching the world go buy from private high level windows.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, everything was just as we hoped it would be. The accommodation was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed to feel at home. The atmosphere was so inviting, and we could truly relax and unwind together. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. We had such a great time exploring the area, and the activities and sights were amazing—each moment felt special. My partner and I genuinely enjoyed every minute of our stay. The memories we created will last a lifetime, and we’re already looking forward to returning. It was the perfect getaway, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We can’t wait to visit again!

Lovely , relaxing holiday home ! Easy walk to the beach and the swimming pool was fantastic ! Very clean ! Would recommend ! The only down side was when we arrived it was pointed out that the back door couldn’t be closed or locked ! Although a secure complex, we felt very insecure , especially at night and we also had to take our valuables with us when we left the house for any time ! Should have been fixed before our arrival !

Our stay at Sibs’ place was absolutely wonderful! The space was clean, cosy, and exactly what we needed for a weekend in East London. We felt welcomed and comfortable from the moment we arrived—just like home. The location was perfect, and Sibs was a responsive and thoughtful host. She kindly answered all questions ahead of time, which was super helpful. As travellers, we’ve stayed in quite a few places around the country and beyond—and Sibs’ place is definitely one of the best. It had everything we needed and more. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the thoughtful touches throughout the home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a great stay in East London. Very friendly host, willing to accommodate our every need, allowed a late checkout and accommodated our pets. We made use of the cleaning service - a wonderful willing and friendly lady. The host suggested restaurants, were often available for a quick chat and we felt right at home. Can recommend. It is a quirky place with lots of interesting items being repurposed as planters or decor. Not boring!

The property manager was very responsive and helpful, the housekeeper was attentive, clean, quality linens and towels were provided, as well as soft furnishings, and all the appliances worked well. Though the neighborhood isn’t the most scenic or safe, the accomodation is well situated for accessing the airport and/or transport to it.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated, making it feel comfortable and welcoming. The surrounding estate is absolutely beautiful, with a peaceful atmosphere that made for a truly relaxing getaway. The hosts were incredibly attentive and easy to communicate with, always ready to assist whenever needed. The beach nearby was stunning—perfect for unwinding and taking in the scenery. I also tried the pizza from the eatery within the estate, and it was absolutely delicious! Overall, this was a perfect stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil escape. I’ll be back for sure!

Beautiful house in a convenient location, awesome pool room with a nice big TV and home theatre. Lovely pool to cool off in on hot days. Very private with nice views of the river. Air conditioning in almost every room, very nice for dealing with the heat and humidity.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It is within walking distance a beach. Restaurants and shops close by too. It was a very peaceful area home which can't recommend highly enough and we generously well catered for by David his family.

Cathlyn's place is homely, super clean and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped. She has a washing machine, which was very helpful as we stayed for a full week.
