With no exaggeration, this was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at in my entire life. I would give it 10 stars if I could. The location is stunning, nestled in the Irish countryside. Peaceful doesn’t even begin to describe it. Even more serene and beautiful than the pictures on the listing. Everything was set up for me perfectly on arrival. Comfortable bed. Pristine bathroom with great water pressure. There was even a washing machine inside so I could wash clothes while I was there, which was incredibly helpful. Jack and his family are absolute gems. Seriously some of the nicest, most good-natured people I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. I’ll be telling people about my vacation here for the rest of my life. We spent a lovely New Year here. Karen's mum came over to check all was OK and she was really warm and friendly. A spacious house, very comfortable, located only a short walk from all amenities. Waterville is a great village and the surrounding area is stunning. We'll be back.

Right from the start we had good contact. Our questions were answered very quickly. Aisling and Donagh are perfect hosts. The cottage is lovely and has a good atmosphere. it is well decorated and comfortable. The very nice wood stove fits perfectly and there was always a good supply of wood to keep us warm and for having a nice and cosy view. it is highly recommended with the nice village Baltimore and Roaringwater Bay nearby. There is plenty to do in this beautiful part of Ireland.

The home is wonderful. Spacious, lovely and comfortable furnishings, peaceful views from upstairs windows. Tom is super responsive; I contacted him about not finding the outside light, he came over a few hours later to check it and promptly changed the bulb. There are stairs leading to the bedrooms which are all upstairs, in case that's an issue. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wow what a place! Fantastic old cottage, beautifully decorated and a great wood burner. Sauna and whirlpool bath were fabulous. Would definitely recommend as a great base to explore the South West Coast of Ireland.

We had a lovely stay at the snug! Frances was incredibly kind hearted and super helpful. We basically felt at home the moment we entered the cottage. Everything was explained perfectly by her and you could really see that she loves to be a host and puts a lot of effort in details. If you want to have a stay in ireland where you really don‘t care about the weather because you feel super cozy inside, the snug is perfect for you! I can only recommend. Lovely, comfortable barn and stunning location for my short winter break. Annette was friendly and super-helpful with tips for places to visit in the wider area and insight into community traditions etc. She responded quickly to any query and was a top host. Thank you!

Sarah and Owen are great hosts! We had a lovely stay at their airbnb. It was very easy to communicate. Due to unexpected issues related to our car, Sarah and Owen offered a lift to airbnb from the town nearby. It was very helpful, and just an example of how much they care about visitors. Everything mentioned in the description was included. Truly amazing experience and without a doubt can recommend if you plan to travel around. House doesn't only offer very comfortable stay but also wonderful views around. It is also a great "base" if you want to travel and explore the area further. Fully deserved 5 stars! :)

We always love our stay at Lower Reen. We know the surroundings very well as frequent visitors and staying here enables us to go anywhere we want in county Kerry and Cork. The cottage is well-equipped and has everything we need. We prepare our breakfast, leave for the day and prepare our dinner or go out in Kenmare. The environment is beautiful, quiet and leads to many tracks and trails we love. Absolutely recommended to stay here if you love hiking.

A wonderful secluded cottage with breathtaking views. Very quiet and peaceful location. The cottage was warm, comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you Martina for being so accommodating and helpful.

Our second stay at the cottages in two years which is always a good indication of how at home I feel lhere. If you are looking for a complete switch off, amazing countryside and total chill out... This is the place to do it.

This was our second time at Nick and Anita's place, and we hope it won't be our last. The cottage is beautiful, cosy, comfortable and clean. Nick and Anita were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was another wonderful stay!

Pretty much excellent. Only small thing was the washing machine didn't work, but really not enough of an issue to detract from the full experience and plenty launderettes in town in any case so still 5*

a cosy house, off the beaten path, surrounded by the beautiful west cork countryside. Close to Leap, and reasonable drive to clonakilty, schul and other great locations. highly recommended for those wanting some peace and quiet and good access to nature and the surroundings. Ger is a great guy, very welcoming and friendly , and I would not hesitate to recommend going there. might go again myself:)

We extended our stay at Dorothy's, and everything turned out as great as the first week :)

Me and my partner (plus our two baby chihuahuas) had an amazing getaway, we booked the Studio for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday, but extended our stay up for 8 nights. We immediately fell in love with the place: it’s so unique, peaceful and cozy. You can see how much effort was put in this property. We especially loved the bedding: pillows and duvet felt like softest clouds. I also personally loved how well equipped was the kitchen: lots of nice cutlery, plates and tea/coffee sets were so cute. There’s also a lot of DVD’s, a nice set of board games and a mini library. We spent our evenings playing checkers and domino and watching some good old movies. Julie is a such a nice person and an amazing host - easy to communicate with, helpful and so quick to reply. Loved how much information we had about the surroundings: hike routes, shops, cafes. Thank you so much, Julie. We will definitely come back :)

We flew with our two young boys from the UK to Cork, hired a car and drove an hour and a half to reach Inish Beg Estate. We wanted an adventure but nothing too stressful and we got just that . Our shopping had been delivered for our arrival. We were quickly in our element exploring the various aspects of the estate , from fairly gardens, walled gardens, woodlands, sea shores .. all loving tended and truly pleasurable. Our daily private dip in the indoor swimming pool was heavenly, with the February sun streaming through the windows. Paul was welcoming and kind giving us his local recommendations . In a quick drive we found ourselves exploring Baltimore, climbing the cliffs to the Beacon , our 3 year old ran the whole way! Followed by a play in the park and a lovely lunch in one of the restaurants. The cottage offered much comfort with a roaring wood burner warming us in the evenings and tv for the kids!! We would return to explore more of the beautiful scenery in a heartbeat.

We loved this gorgeous cottage. Roomy, characterful, very well equipped. It felt like home. Perfect for warm or cold weather with a pool for the sunny days and log fires for the rainy days. A perfect airbnb! Our host was wonderful as well.

This spot was just wonderful, Paul and Georgie were fabulous. Great to have a chat with and great craic . The inish beg estate was truely peaceful, spectacular gardens and peaceful. The cottage was so clean and spacious. We will be back again and again. A great spot to base yourself to take in the beauty of West Cork and beyond.

Beautiful cottage and studio in a stunning location. The cottage and studio had everything you needed, the beds were very comfortable and there was a good selection of books, games and dvds if you wanted to stay in and relax. The host, Julie, contacted me just after we arrived to check we had got there safely and everything was ok at the house. We had a fantastic week there and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a lovely relaxing holiday.

What a magical and unique place to stay! The cottages on the Inish Beg estate were a delightful find. The high ceilings, wood, and decor made it feel luxurious. The beds were comfortable, and the lounging area both indoors and outdoors were very pleasant to sit in. At first when we booked the property, we did not even realize that it is a large estate on a little island with beautiful gardens, lush forest walks, and truly delightful pirate and fairy trails for the kids. Not to mention the indoor pool beside the romantic walled garden! My kids and I were absolutely charmed as we explored the property. They spontaneously told me during our pirate walk that they gave the experience 5 stars. The host was also very responsive, and check-in was easy, with a booklet describing all of the necessary information and more. The honey and eggs that were produced on the Inish Beg estate only made it all the more charming. I wish we could have stayed longer. I definitely recommend this to anyone!
