Stay Golden - Harnett House. sleeps 10, hot tub

Spectacular private 4 bedroom house. Hot tub, mountain views, sleeps 10. Uniquely secluded. Very few other properties in the Rocky Mountains offer a combination of fantastic views and the complete privacy afforded by 10 acres of trees. This is a different experience from staying at a ski hill or being close to neighbours.

My toddler and I enjoyed our stay to the fullest. He enjoyed playing the guitar, look at the fire, and climb to the second floor within the yurt. Since I didn’t had a lot of experience with keeping a fire they gave tips and help to keep it cozy. I’m looking forward to come back with more family members in the future. It is a wonderful location in the mountains, while still feeling safe since other people live on the property.

This is a wonderful place except lots of cottages surrounded it which we don't see from its published photos. The property is very clean and nicely kept. We could not find a exhaust fan in the kitchen and thus, we were worried about cooking. Main TV in the sitting area is in a cabinet and it can be locked. The doors of that lockable compartment can be open only 90 degrees. Thus, unless you sit right in front of the TV, people seated in sides cannot watch the TV. But overall I will give 5 stars.

what an absolutely beautiful place to stay, both the home and yard were spectacular! We needed a place to get some R&R and this location was perfect for us. We all found a cozy, place to relax and read and there was enough site seeing/adventure to balance it all out. I highly recommend renting here, we would have stayed longer if we could have.

Beautiful cabin with a perfect fireplace. A great places to find peace and quiet sit by the fire and read a book. Easy drive to town to enjoy the amenities. Bev and Allan were welcoming and helpful! I suggest a stop on at Beeland which is right beside to support a local!

We spent 3 wonderful days in this cozy little house. On the rainy day, we were able to rest, watch a DVD, take a jacuzzi in the rain. In good weather, the river right next door is a sublime place, a short walk to Thompson Falls, incredible and a visit to the buffalo ranch. The house is very clean, nothing is missing. The hosts have thought of everything and are ready to help. The beds are very comfortable as are the duvets. If possible, do not arrive at night because the accommodation is isolated and not easy to find at night. This river and this house will be among my fondest memories of Canada!!
