The pictures don't do the place just. More more beautifull than expected. Morten has also made a massive extention of the terrace that provides panoramic views towards the inlet. Although there is a neighbouring house the place feels truly secluded. All in all much better than expected. Before we came we noticed some complains about cleaning but all was perfect when we arrived. The host was serviceminded and provided help when needed and great recommendations for the area. We really enjoyed staying here! A lovely place, a marvelous host. Super nice extra for us, the animals. The cat who entered us cozily, the alpacas we were allowed to feed, the cows we could pet, the horse, the chickens, really great! Very cool that Maria could make the time to take a tour of the farm with us and tell us everything about this. The road to the house could perhaps be a challenge for inexperienced drivers, due to the narrow road and any oncoming traffic. But don't let this stop you. It's well worth the drive! And there is free space to pass each other, we had to pass a coach. Went completely fine! The decor of the house is simple and maybe a little dated, but everything you need is there and meets. Maria is also incredibly friendly, helpful and responds quickly. If you are looking for a beautiful place in Norway, this is it! We'd love to come back!!

It has fully met our requirements. A beautiful quiet environment and you could enjoy the surrounding nature at any time. We were able to feed ourselves best, as everything was available in the kitchen.

Elegant, modern and clean house with a breathtaking view! Well-equipped such as: cooking spices, shampoos, etc. Suitable and very fun for kids because there are so many toys like scooter , notindu etc. The Sandan area is great with all the services from the market , a bakery about an hour away from Strain and about an hour Host Thomas was great in communicating and collaborating with us on many topics. We had an amazing stay at Eirin’s place! The house is amazing and the location is also amazing! Very clean modern place with everything you need and Eirin was a great communicator and very accommodating! We even stood out at night and looked over the fjord and saw the northern lights!! The place was in a great location, it was a shame that we only stayed for one night and didn't have time to get a good view of the surrounding scenery, had a good communication with the host and when we struggled, immediately delegated his brother to come and help resolve.

The accommodation was very spacious, everything was present and the space matched the photos. We and our 1.5-year-old son felt right at home. The toys that are present were a big plus for our son. You have the space and it is very private. You are quickly at the neighboring villages. The hosts are very friendly and always available if you need them. We highly recommend this accommodation if you want to discover the area nearby!

Roar’s is a great host, he always responds to any inquiries especially during your stay. He is cooperative.. and the apartment is great, clean, well organized, and he provides great outdoor activities for families.

This was easily the best AirBnB experience we’ve ever had! Sindre, Kari and their families were such beautiful people who we had the pleasure of getting to know over the course of the month that we stayed here. They are very kind, super helpful with local knowledge and always making sure we were comfortable. The house is an incredible space with stunning views to watch the landscape change every day. If you like being surrounded by nature, this place is for you! The house was also spotlessly clean and cozy. We would highly recommend this stay and we’ll hopefully be able to return one day. Everything was great. Beautiful spacious apartment, washing machine available. Everything was clean and for us it was ideal for us to get from the roof tent to the dry. Both booking (12h before) and check-in and check-out were very flexible and easy. Would come back anytime.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rune’s apartment. The apartment was extremely well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Set in a beautiful location ideally situated to visit many attractions. Rune was very helpful both before and on our arrival explaining everything about the accommodation. The property is well maintained and practically furnished. The bathroom and kitchen are a bit outdated, but functional and clean! We were greeted with fresh flowers by a very friendly hostess. Elisa lives on the upper floor, the accommodation is on the ground floor/basement

We stayed at Ola's house and was the best decision when visiting the area. The house was so spacious which could host a big family too. It was very cozy and always kept warm so we really didn't need to turn on any heating system. The kitchen is very modern with induction system. All basic kitchen ware could be found. The house was sparkling clean and in the bathroom you had the option of shower, bath tub and also sauna! The magnificent view could be found all around the rooms which was awesome. I haven't had such a relaxing sleep in a while, watching over the fjord, a complete dream. Ola was very attentive and friendly which made us feel as home all the time. We went to a fishing tour with his son Ola which we found so much fun! His knowledge was surprising for such a young age and he was very talkative and friendly. A very nice young man. I can't recommend Ola's place enough. We hope to come back soon! Thank you so much Ola and Ola Jr!

We enjoyed our stay; it was peaceful, especially with the rainy weather adding to the ambiance. However, we did not realize from the profile that the flat is an attachment to a house, located below another residence, so there was some noises (minimal) from people moving around above. Overall, it was a great stay.
