Apartment vacation rentals in Glengarriff

We stayed at this property for two nights. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. The surroundings are lovely and the sheep and lambs a joy to watch. The host family were great and left us lovely homemade scones and jam and also left eggs from their hens. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed in this spacious unit. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking to be close to Dingle peninsula or Ring of Kerry but wanting some peace and tranquility. We miss it already!!

Anne's property is in a great location with awesome views near many attractions on the ring of Kerry. I would recommend anyone to stay at this location.

I stayed at Brian's place for six weeks and was looking for peace and quite so I could read and reflect. I also like walking, particularly in wilderness areas. The location, being just outside Killarney was perfect. The flat was private and the Killarney National Park, which is extensive, was only a short drive away. I also used this accommodation as a base for visiting other places: Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Tralee and Cork, which were not that far away. The trains are great, and I used them to travel to Tralee and Cork. The flat itself was ideal with bedroom, kitchen-sitting room and bathroom, which had all the necessary things. Heating, internet and TV were excellent. Brian and his wife were very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions I had. At the same time, they respected my privacy. I had a wonderful stay there and highly recommend to others.

great place to stay when visiting schull!!

We spend a fantastic 2 nights while exploring West Cork. The apartment is set in the peaceful country side, clean with a full kitchen for cooking. Diarmuid and Helen are fantastic hosts very friendly, flexible and responsive. They have a lovely friendly dog. Thank you and we thoroughly recommend here.

My stay at Marconi House was delightful, the location was utter perfection. The apartment was as described in the advert & photos, apartment was clean & tidy, bathroom was lovely and the host(s) were very easy to contact! would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in crookhaven for a weekend trip or longer!

This is a great unit right on the edge of downtown Killarney. Easy to work into the city centre with all its restaurants, pubs, and shops. At the same time it has easy access to the roads to get out into County Kerry to visit all the sites. Highly recommend.

Beautiful apartment, clean and with attention to the smallest details. Check-in was very easy and there was everything we needed in the house, even to cook. It is very well furnished and for us 4 (2 adults and 2 children) it was perfect. My kids were thrilled to have their own room! The view from the windows is wonderful!

Absolutely perfect! Myself and my family had a wonderful time in Sophie’s mountain retreat. Sophie is a hospitable and kind host, who was able to give great advice on how to spend our time in Allihies. She answered any query or request immediately. On arrival we were gifted fresh hen eggs, milk, and homegrown tomatoes from her garden. The house itself is cozy, clean, and welcoming. The facilities (oven, hob, stove, kettle, toaster, shower, tv, and more) were in perfect condition, and the hens and sheep make wonderful neighbours too🐓🐑 The surroundings were breathtaking, with the house nestled between the mountains where we found great peace and quiet. The location is a 10 minute walk to the lovely village of Allihies, accessible to all points of interest on the Beara Peninsula. Ballydonegan beach is also within walking distance. I would 100% recommend Sophie for a wonderful mountain retreat in Allihies!

Sneem is a wonderful little town, and John's place could not be in a more convenient location. John was very friendly and the unit is very clean and completely private. The price was a little high but it was the only thing left in town on our short notice.

A gem in an oasis of calm... and that's just the host! This is a rare-find Airbnb, a great location, an extremely well thought-out apartment, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with an absolute gent for a host. Stefan was so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, yet always respected our peace and quiet too and, yes, as others have said, he had indeed baked a lovely pear and almond cake to settle us in! His care for his guests' enjoyment is really genuine and heartwarming, and nothing is too much trouble, and he quietly went about helping us, on a few occasions, with no fuss. One lovely aspect of the place is that Stefan provides several different places where guests can sit out to enjoy the sun and the view at different times of the day. This is now one of our most favourite Airbnbs - highly recommended. Oh, and the restaurant Cent' Anni in the nearby Durrus village is an absolute must for exquisite pizzas - honestly!

Really lovely location, quite remote and very peaceful. It was nice to get a piece of the countryside. Short drive to beautiful Castledonovan and river walk as recommended by Mary. The apartment itself was perfect in size and wonderfully stocked. You know when you are at an airbnb and need something and the place seems to have everything but? This place has everything you might need. Mary went above and beyond with homemade scones and bread, as well as butter, milk, eggs, jams, real coffee grounds, tea, hot chocolate powder, etc etc. Very comfortable and clean space. Highly recommend.

Phil greeted us when we arrived and showed us our place. He gave recommendations for food and live music in town. The views were spectacular, and there were chairs outside to sit and admire the property and views. Very quiet and private. We had a little issue with the dryer, and Phil was immediately responsive and helpful! Would return here if we are back in the area.

It was a great experience

Amazing location right off N22, it was easy to get to Killarney national park, the ring of Kerry, and downtown Killarney. The Airbnb was so comfortable, fully stocked, and extremely clean. Very happy we stayed here!

Heidi and Des’s place was fantastic. Very spacious house, in a lovely, rural setting. The house was spotless, with plenty of fresh towels and toiletries. The hot tub was lovely, super relaxing and very clean. Heidi and Des were very helpful and responsive in all communication. The price was very reasonable. Would definitely stay here again.

Pam is a lovely host. Had fresh scones waiting for us! She is easy to talk to and her space is dated, but lovely.

Sharon was a great host. She was very accommodating and had every necessary amenity available. It was the perfect location for us and we will definitely be back!

Super nice place, highly recommended. Really nicely furnished with high-quality furniture and everything super clean and lovingly furnished. You can tell that attention was paid to the little things. Hostess Anne is super nice and friendly. We felt very comfortable.

I find it difficult to put into words what a beautiful location this is. The whole area as you move around from each town and village is just stunning. The “Hideaway “ is perfect and has everything you need. Dermot and Mari are just the nicest people I’ve met and so helpful and attentive. I used the tourist information centres in every town I visited and found the staff in them were so helpful and had that local knowledge which is priceless I’ve traveled the world since I was a child with my father’s work and then with mine (I’m 65 now) and can honestly say that I wish I’d known I was so close to paradise I would have visited sooner!

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area!
