We had a delightful six night stay at Njord House. It was exactly what we wanted (remote and quiet, but accommodation of a high standard), and when we weren’t hill walking we were able to take advantage of the lovely environment that the property provides. It is very clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable and well equipped, and has lovely views over the loch through large floor to ceiling windows. Adelaide was a very attentive host, and communication was responsive and comprehensive. Very highly recommended. We would love to return.

What a fantastic home! We had such a lovely stay here. The house is spotlessly clean, comfortable, is fully equipped with everything you could need for any stay, short or long - the coffee machine was a greatly appreciated feature, it is beautifully decorated and has lovely little touches throughout (my youngest son was obsessed with the leopard lamp in the room they slept in!). The beds are very comfortable with beautiful linen used. The house itself is on a quiet street in such a convenient location for walking into town, or there is a bus stop just a short walk away. Off street parking was a great perk. Lewis and Heather were the perfect hosts. Everything has been thought of. They sent messages to welcome us, to check everything was ok and if we needed anything and also to leave checking out instructions. I would absolutely stay at this home again if I needed to come back Oban. Highly recommend!

Stayed for 3 nights at this remarkable property. If you are contemplating holidaying here I urge you do it, just book it now! husband, dog & I revelled in this haven of a house and it felt mansion sized, you can lose yourself among the generously proportioned rooms. The heart of the house being the huge traditional kitchen with welcoming raeburn stove which flows seamlessly into one of the most comfortable living rooms we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. We loved the tasteful decoration throughout & the carefully curated quirky modern & antique mix of furnishings. Outside the hot tub is of a very high, quality standard & and those powerful wee jets were an absolute tonic after a day’s hillwalking! Did I mention the owner’s attention to detail? And at last, Someone who understands the importance of silky soft & crisp bedding!! Peaceful setting with the joy of hooting owls & the odd stag grazing in the field in the evenings. David and Ashley are by far the best host I have ever had. Their home was very clean and as described. Just a couple of 6 minute wall to the center of town. They made sure to give us all kinds of recommendations to local attractions and restaurants. if I ever get to come back, I would book their home again.
