You’ll love my place because of the quiet peaceful surroundings beside a small stream and looking out over Loch Lomond. Situated in a private holiday lodge estate at the foot of Ben Lomond looking over Loch Lomond to the mountains beyond. There is a sandy beach just in front of the lodge. My place is good for couples, families and pets. Rowardennan is on the quieter eastern shores of Loch Lomond at the foot of Ben Lomond. There are NO shops in Rowardennan but online groceries can be delivered.

Loved our few days in Dunoon- what a lovely little place to have as a base. On arrival Paddy had freshly baked bread for us- very kind and delicious too. Easy to find. We had lovely morning runs along by the water- beautiful location. We didn’t really go into Dunoon but did have a lovely takeaway one night as a treat. We had a cycle from Otter Ferry, one day we went to Bute and cycled round and today we’ve been at Benmore Gardens and enjoyed a late breakfast followed by a lovely walk up Beinn Mohr. Paddy, thank you. Thoroughly enjoyed our wee visit and would love to return. The accommodation was perfect for us as a place to lay our heads after a day out. Netflix was lovely too!

This is not a house, it’s a home. It has everything you need for the family to be comfortable right from the moment you arrive with something for everyone. Standout for the young children a fab garden with an awesome trampoline. Standout for the adults space and comfort to totally relax. What takes it from great to exceptional are the thoughtful touches …… and there are a lot but it’s most of all the welcome and hospitality of Kay our host who kept in touch to make sure all was well and gave us brilliant tips on where to go suitable for each of our parties needs. Lovely loft, in a great location at the heart of the west end. Beautifully decorated abode, offering surprisingly spacious rooms and a peaceful atmosphere. The parking lane was compromised during the day, but as we had no plans to use our car once’s parked and walk everywhere, we found the friendly and kind interactions with the locals and workmen each day, positively impacted our stay. I look forward to returning again in the future.

Words couldn’t begin to describe how much we loved this place. Location was immaculate , one step out the door and you’re in heaven. The views of the charming mountains are just priceless. However, do bring your own essentials such as ingredients to cook as the nearest coop is a 20 min drive away. As for the house itself, everything is complete, everything is clean , I find it hard to leave the house myself 😂. Melanie was the nicest and caring host, she even replied after midnight to help with some questions and her instructions were clear and simple. Overall, 100% would repeat this trip and a deserved 5 star ⭐!

It was a lovely and warm stay for our Highland trip! Beautiful view from the living room window just like the pictures. Alan is a very friendly host who responds fast even around midnight. The rooms are well furnished and the kitchen is well stocked. The house is a bit tricky to find on map but with Alan’s detailed instructions, you will make it very much easier.

We had a wonderful stay at The Croft. The house and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The house and the kitchen are really well stocked with everything you could possibly wish for if wanting to cook at home. We had an absolutely amazing time and our son and our dog had a wonderful time running wild around the lovely garden.
