We really enjoyed our week at Marcus' cottage. The location is great, direct access to the river. Marcus always responded very quickly and also made suggestions for activities and restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped, it has everything you need and it has a very large refrigerator. We would definitely book the cottage again.

This cabin is adorable, and super peaceful. I love the wood burning stove, I got the best night's sleep when I had it running. Everything was very clean and the host is responsive. I would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay! The house is just beautiful and the area is nice and quiet. We got to see the northern lights standing on the frozen lake. I would recommend anyone to stay here. We spent two fantastic days at Gerds lovely holiday home. Its located a short drive from Kiruna, but at the end of a road totally within the nature on a really quiet spot: - From the phantastic panoramic window we could directly see when its time to get outside for the northern lights (and continue to admire them from inside once it was getting to cold). - One morning 5 reindeers were grazing just a few steps from the entrance. - Our Kids and also we parents loved to slide down to the frozen river on matrasses provided by Gerd. - And it is just a short walk across the frozen river to Jukkaskärvi. So everything a nature loving family could wish for. Gerd herself is such a lovely host, she prepared everything for our stay, answered every message immediately and even notified us when the northern lights showed up. So I do highly recommend this place. Just be aware, that steep and narrow stairs lead upstairs (not at all a problem with elder kids). Thanks again Gerd!

Our overnight stay in the cabin was very pleasant and straightforward. Ida-Marie wrote a very good arrival description, with which you could find the cabin very well. Also, we were able to check in earlier than indicated.

Frank was very helpful and friendly. It was wonderful that snowshoes and enough wood were available. We also needed this and incited it every day, so it was cozy in the cabin. We had electricity available throughout as the sun was sufficient. For the water, we have developed our own system through snow melting. The view of the lake can be enjoyed from the sauna and the toilet. The cars and trucks on the very nearby road can be heard. It didn't bother us, we were still able to sleep relatively well. All around it was a enjoyable stay.
