Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Gjirokastër County

memorable Vila with character, felt like resting in an antique store or my parents' home. Was a fun change of pace from the normal hotels. Parking was not a problem because the host's father met us upon arrival and led us where to park. The location was good.. midway point between the castle and bazaar and the foothills.

Had a great stay at Anxhela's place. She was always extremely helpful and accommodating. The place is quiet and great location for many things to do. However, the car is absolutely necessary. The place was totally clean and everything was available (incl. Pepper, salt, toilet paper, linens, towels, etc.). At our arrival we were greeted by a nice gentleman, otherwise we probably wouldn't have found it directly. Overall it was a great stay (also highly recommended with two small children), with a very nice hostess. Absolutely recommended!

Absolutely wonderful stay. It’s nicer than the pictures. The beach is your backyard and the sunsets are breathtaking. Krista was very responsive and helped us with everything. We had the whole beach to ourselves and it was great for a family vacation. There is a wonderful restaurant nearby called manxrurane which had incredible food and a very friendly staff. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming! Everything we needed was readily available. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable for the 8 of us. Every morning, there was always something to eat, and the house was consistently cleaned and tidied up. I highly recommend this place without hesitation!

Wonderful big house in a quiet area, 20 minutes by car to the nearest beach. Good starting point to Saranda, Gjiokarsta, Butrint. Four bedrooms, but two without air conditioning (though one was by the living room, so it was chilly at night if the door was open during the day. We were 3 adults and 5 kids and the house was perfect for us. It was very clean. We had an adventure with a lack of power (the rain and the wind knocked the pole in the town) and we were without electricity and wifi for a day, and then there was a problem with the stove, but the owner immediately responded, sent help, called the neighbors, and offered us one night longer at the price. Contact with the owner was perfect. It was definitely our best place to stay in all of Albania. Recommended!!!!

Amazing place! We were greeted with attention to every detail. The lady who hosted us was wonderful and made sure we didn't run out of anything. The entire exclusive floor with a patio and views of the stunning mountains. We were hosted like family, true Albania hospitality. If you are looking for a place like this and you will repay you with respect, this must be a stop on your Albanian trip. Thank you!

Stefan's place is a very well located, close to a lovely and relaxing beach. It was easy to find, and has everything you needed for a stay on the coast. I can't wait to visit again!

fantastic apartment not far from the beautiful front of sarande, we had a couple of issues with the sink tap and lights but once we messaged the host they was fixed that day, only one bedroom with a mirror so could potentially do with more and one in each room, but highly recommend a stay here the views are stunning

Great host. Very helpful and very attentive. The place was beautiful and had private beach access. Private parking was a great plus too. Definitely recommend .

We had a wonderful holiday at Elvis's apartment. His mother was on hand and helpful throughout without being at all intrusive. She was very kind and gave us lemons from the beautiful garden and help when needed. The apartment has everything needed as well as lovely outside space with a beautiful view of the bay. It is peaceful and picturesque. There are 4 restaurants in the village and we tried three. Our favourite was Taverna Viktoria right next door who also provided us with takeaway food when we arrived late and on other nights when we wanted. A car is a must as the nearest beach is about a 10 minute drive, but Piqeras is a perfect location for exploring the southern part of the riviera. We especially recommend Borsh beach, Butrint, Porto Palermo and Gyrocaster as places we particularly enjoyed. For Brits Albania is fabulous value and a very beautiful picturesque country. We hope to return in the future and would definitely stay again at Elvis's.

A warm welcome from the host and his dogs. A beautiful location with a breathtaking view over mountains and the sea. In the morning there was a bag of freshly picked oranges at our door. Large, beautiful, clean house. Within a 10-minute drive you are by the sea and within an hour at various beautiful sights (The seaside resort of Sarandë, The blue eye and the old town of Gjirokastër. ) But also reading a book on the veranda with the setting sun was enjoyable! Highly recommended.

Great place away from the city. Beautiful and peaceful area, host was super helpful, everything was clean and the pool area was great. Also, a PSA to future guests - the living room couches open up for a massively better leisure experience on the nights you end up watching the TV.

Anita's place is a lush oasis overlooking the sea from high above. The garden is wonderful and very well maintained, with lots of trees, fruits and flowers, with a great bbq corner, really like the pictures. The house is well equipped, comfortable with a cosy atmosphere. We enjoyed the place very much. Just across the street, the Taverna Viktoria can't be missed and is worth a few visits for the friendly service and tasty dishes to enjoy from the quiet terrace. Multiple beaches are a few kilometers away, each one offering a different scenery. We spent a great time in and around Piqeras, and we appreciated to come back to this nice place, to spend time in the garden. Getting fresh fresh pomegranate, lemon or kaki direct from the trees was a great plus to the stay. Not to forget the more than friendly cat coming and going and always happy to cuddle. This has been a great week and we thank Anita a lot for making this place available to us!

Stunning accommodation with fantastic views across Sarandë. Host was very helpful with greeting us on arrival, as well as providing local recommendations. The apartment has a balcony attached to each room, including the front room, with stunning views out to sea, including Corfu There is a beautiful Jack Russell and several kittens, which both our children loved playing with in the courtyard. We were slightly unlucky on the day we arrived, because construction work was being carried out on the driveway where it joins from the road. This meant that there was no pathway up to the house and we had to walk through mud, which was made worse by a burst water pipe Check out was very simple and we followed the instructions to leave the key on the kitchen table, but unfortunately received a message after we left to say that the key should be left outside the apartment (sorry!) Other than that I could not fault this excellent accommodation! Thank you
