Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Giardini Naxos

I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

This is an amazing house on a beachfront road in a charming little town. There is a small square in walking distance that has a nice bar/coffee shop and restaurant. The house itself is lovely with very comfortable beds and amazing views both of the ocean out the front door and balcony, and of Mt Etna out of the two back balconies. Bedrooms are good sized with two full baths on the first floor and a half bath with the bedroom on the second floor. We had 5 adults in our group and never felt cramped. WiFi is good. Hosts are very friendly and helpful and very responsive to questions and give a good list of local attractions and restaurants to try. House is in an area with easy access to both Catania and Taormina, both about 35-45 minutes away by car. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area.

Great location and really nice terrace. Very well equipped apartment, from beach umbrellas to washing machine, dishwasher and kitchen gear. Hosts were really nice and responsive. Would stay again! Hope to come back soon.

Lele is an excellent hostess. The place matches the description perfectly. She has thoughtfully prepared a detailed instruction book with all the information we might need. Additionally, she provided us with plenty of helpful parking tips.

Beautiful place, close to great restaurants. Taormina is nice and peaceful in February. Anita was very responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

We were really happy to have booked Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place during our trip to Sicily! We planned to visit mount Etna and avoid the crazy traffic and noise of the bigger cities that we had been experiencing in Sicily , so the place was a perfect choice as it is around 30m by car to it. It is also accessible to visit Taormina and Siracusa. The house is extremely comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, beautifully decorated and clean! The hosts are very kind and responsive, we ended up taking longer for our check in than planned and they were supper accommodating towards us. We recommend Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place for your Sicily trip!

Giuseppe is an exceptional host, very helpful and available. The village of Motta Camastra is very nice and the view is sublime. We were lucky to be there during the 2 days of the village festival so we could enjoy the concerts, fireworks, processions, illuminations and brass band. The apartment is very functional, well located in the village and allows you to enjoy the various visits to do in the vicinity including Etna. We regret not staying longer!

Beautiful villa at the base of Mt. Etna. Very large pool and garden. Nadia and her family are close by and very responsive / always willing to help. The location is great as it is close to the volcano and a 15 min drive to the beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!

We loved the house of Jaco, it had an amazing view and is super quiet. We made an phenomenal BBQ outside on the grill. We will come back for sure. Felt like home.

We enjoyed staying at Alessandra's holiday home during a very warm few days in early September. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very much appreciated. The house is on a very busy road but once you have negotiated the gates there is no road noise at all as the house is set well back from the road. The house is surrounded by lovely gardens and has a fabulous swimming pool which we used daily and was just the job after a hot day sight-seeing in the locality. We were very comfortable in the house which had everything we needed for 4 adults.

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

We spent a 10 day vacation here as a group of friends. Already upon arrival we were overwhelmed by the beauty of property and surroundings: located in the beautiful lemon grove overlooking the slopes of Mount Etna and the sea. It couldn't get any better! Boredom never arose, the area offers a lot! However, a car is important. There was also always something to do on the property: beautiful pool, ping pong table, foosball, football or cooking in the great kitchen... and always fresh lemons. Maria Gulia and Angelo are super friendly and often helped us with tips and quick answers. The villa is an absolute recommendation!!

The apartment is based a stone throw from the main area of Taormina and took a couple of minutes to walk to. We were greeted by Anastasia who was super helpful and informative. It would have been difficult to find the apartment for the first time without her help! The shared pool was clean but freezing (it was April so to be expected!) This was a fantastic base to explore Taormina and the wider area from.

Guilia's place is spectacular! It's better than the photos with gorgeous views of the sea, mountains, city and even Calabria in the distance. The grounds are immaculate with a huge private terrace for meals and drinks and a massive pool that feels like your own private resort. Giulia's family lives in the other units and were always friendly and helpful but not intrusive in the least. Even Papaya the dog knew when to leave us to ourselves lol! The interior is pristine and spacious. As many have pointed out the town center is about a 10-15 minute walk away. So you are very close to all the restaurants and shops but away from the tourist hordes. Taormina is hilly but most of the walk is relatively flat. Traffic is not a worry, we did not encounter much of it on our walks. Also, Italian drivers, although speedy, are careful and well aware of pedestrians. Giulia is a fantastic host, always quick to provide recommendations and respond to our questions. Wish we could have stayed forever!

We were hosted very well, with great kindness and availability from Cinzia and her husband. The place is simply magnificent, nestled in the heart of a lemon farm, offering a unique and exotic atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the calm and surrounding beauty, which make this place ideal for a relaxing family stay. We will keep a wonderful memory of our stay here and will be happy to come back! One of the best Airbnb experiences ever. Extremely clean and comfortable apartment, with a beautiful interior. Not another soulless „live laugh love” apartment - very Sicilian, old-school vibe. The kitchen was well equipped, terrace and the balcony great. The hosts were friendly and responsive, arranged a bike rental for us with delivery at a very reasonable price and were accommodating to all our requests. Overall 11/10, we will be back, thank you Giorgina!

Beautiful, well-equipped apartment ideally located between Catania and Etna. Andrea is a great host who does everything to satisfy her visitors. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

A very nice house with a heavenly garden in a quiet location on the outskirts of Gaggi. Giovanni is a very nice host and also speaks good English. The kitchen is simple but functional. The beds were good (the subject of duvets in Italy is a thing in itself, only one large duvet for two, practically just a sheet with a woolen blanket over it, I will never understand it, but that's the way it is everywhere...) and the pool, of course. The terrace on the upper floor offers a wonderful view over the surroundings and Mount Etna. Unfortunately, only the dogs in the area were very loud at night. But Giovanni can't do anything about it.

I, my wife and our 10-11 month baby had a fantastic one month stay at Villa Britannia. The beautiful villa had everything we looked for: great location, a lovely garden (in which "The Snake" by DH Lawrence was written), a big kitchen (great for perfecting Pasta alla Norma), seaview and parking (the large garage could easily fit our quite long estate car). Louisa and her husband Marco are lovely people and provided service on a far higher level than most Airbnb-hosts. Any minor issues were quickly sorted out. Louisa would bring us wines to try and proactively let us know about events in town or traffic challenges, as well as giving great recommendations and help with any problem. We were provided with a baby cot, a baby bath, several (!) baby chairs and lots of toys. Could not ask for more. We really hope to be back one day!

We really enjoyed our stay at Melania’s place. She was so helpful and friendly. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The garden is amazing as it backs onto a large citrus grove where you can pick the fruit, which is delicious. There is an electrical substation just before you enter the property but it isn’t really noticeable inside. Giardini Naxos is ideal as a base for visiting this part of Sicily, particularly if you have a car.

Robert was always very easy to reach and he took care of all the little problems immediately. The garden of the house with the view of Mount Etna is simply a dream and it is well located for excursions to Catania, Taormina, the Alcantara Gorge or Mount Etna. Everything was clean and we felt right at home. Unfortunately, the surroundings are very run down and many things are empty. You won't find a nice beach promenade or inviting restaurants by the sea here - instead, you're already sitting on busy roads in the low season. But of course that has nothing to do with the house, which we can only recommend.
