Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ghent

This was a return visit for us to Nikita's. Again - perfect. Such a quiet get-away for all. We are a small cycling team from Canada and we specifically look for out of the ordinary places to stay while in competition mode. Nikita offers a wonderful space for everyone to find a truly relaxing atmosphere and an opportunity to turn off the outside world. We are looking forward to returning next year. Thanks - Marc.

A wonderful house in a perfect little village with a very private and secure feel …helpful host and easy access.

This cosy house in the glowing landscape was a great getaway and perfect to enjoy some quite time with friends or family. We had everything we needed, including a fireplace, well stocked kitchen and a great yard with BBQ and hot tub. The surroundings are very beautiful and you can enjoy them from the couch inside. The only thing I would improve is the kitchen, we felt like a lot of materials were old or not available.

It was a wonderful weekend getaway. It was an outstanding place with so much attention to detail. We all felt comfortable throughout and will definitely come back.

We had a great stay at Sylvia's place. The house itself is huge fun: it is enormous, with a fantastic open-plan aspect, a very well-equipped kitchen, a huge master bedroom, a luxurious jacuzzi and a great outdoor pool which the kids loved. Sylvia and Peter were perfect hosts: they were communicative from the outset, and responded very quickly to our messages. In short, we can't recommend this place enough!

Very comfortable beds and quiet at night, good wifi; good Samsung TV with multi-lingual offering and easy login for streaming services if required. Great for walking - through the woods (there are also signs with suggested walking routes) opposite the domaine to dunes and a huge sandy beach (with a nice "beer stop" at Chalet Westhinder!). There is one parking space in the domaine, if you have a second car the street outside has safe parking spaces. Convenient also for De Haan which is beautiful, and Bruges by car. Public transport (tram) very close, cyclists will also love it. We really enjoyed our 1-week stay here, Thank you Hans!

This is the best AirBnb I've ever stayed in. me and my partner love what the hairs have done with the place. It's minimal, down to earth and peaceful. It's made me reflect on my own home as I enjoyed the stay here that much. Spacious and comfortable beds,incredible views from the top floor bedroom, OLED TV, V60 for coffee, teapot, an incredible speaker system, fantastic overhead shower and a spacious and lovely balcony. These are just a few of the great reasons to stay. The hosts are fantastic, they couldn't have done anything more to make our stay better. They went above what I would expect hosts to do and I'm thankful for it. I cannot recommend this AirBnb enough. if you have the chance to stay at Shelter 7, please do. you'll be thankful for it.

Staying at Chez Maintje was an absolute delight! The accommodations were cozy and impeccably clean, with charming decor that reflected the local flair. The location of Chez Maintje was ideal, situated in a quaint neighborhood with around 40 mins of drive to Ghent or Brugge. Overall, my experience at Chez Maintje was good. Annelies and Filip are very welcoming and helpful hosts.

The stay was very pleasant, Max was a very responsive and very flexible host. The apartment is very well located and everything is within walking distance.

We had a great stay at James' apartment. It was a very good place to explore Bruxelles and the Check-In by the nice restaurant-stuff was eay and comfortable. We also enjoyed the great Restaurants only a few metres away.

Following a warm and efficient welcome from Tille and her son, I stayed in a charming apartment, which provided the ideal spot to relax after wandering around the city. Watering the plants felt less like a task and more like a small contribution to the cosy, homely atmosphere already there. Thank you for this wonderful stay.

Wow, what a great place to stay. Pristine and spacious, looking exactly like the photos. We had all we needed, including plenty of kitchen pans and utensils for cooking. It was just a few tram stops from the station amd really easy to get to anywhere we needed. All in all, a superb base for an Antwerp holiday and we hope to return.

Christopher was the perfect host very friendly and took time to ensure we were happy with everything. Apartment spacious and inviting and the fireplace was wonderful in the evenings. Very nice stay at the foot of the Koppenberg. Ideal base for hiking and biking. The house offers many opportunities for relaxation for young and old. Very practical kitchen with all materials provided. Super friendly hostess. We will definitely be back sometime in the spring!

Nice stay for weekend Ghent. By bus and tram you can easily travel to the city center. A few minutes drive away is a supermarket. Nice house, warm welcome and equipped with every comfort.

We had a great weekend at Chantal & Robert's house. The house is clean, very tasteful and thoughtfully decorated and there is absolutely everything you need. It's located in a quiet residential area with a 5-minute walk to the park, from where you can start a great long beach hike. By car, you can also reach De Haan and Wenduine in a few minutes to visit restaurants or the bakery. You can park right by the house. The fenced garden and the fireplace are two special highlights. In the children's room there is still a normal single bed for an adult, even if it is not visible in the photos. That's great because we were there with three girlfriends and could have three separate bedrooms. Chantal is very friendly, fast and proactive in communication and has valuable tips for the area. We can fully recommend the stay and would be happy to come back! We felt very comfortable!

it is an incredibly large and modern furnished vacation home with a view of the fields! even if you are with 23 people in the house, everyone has their own retreat zone! we cooked four times with 23 people in the evening and it always worked because the kitchen is very well furnished. the beds are like in a hotel, 1a. it is a pity that the seven-bed room does not have its own bathroom. thank you very much!

Amazing place to feel like home during Christmas Holiday. With a very nice fire place and more equipment and utensils than you need. Rooms are big and clean. Close enough for easy visit to Brugge, Ypres and Lille. There is also a great and tasty bakery within 5 mins of drive.

We had a wonderful time staying here! The area is beautiful and peaceful, and we were able to cycle using the rented bikes. The villa was perfect, clean, and spacious yet homely. We loved the cosy view of the forest out the windows as well. An and Bart were very helpful and kind hosts! Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

I would definitely recommend this property. And especially her host. Sofie is a golden host and very available☺️. The place is beautiful and the amenities are great. We will go back there for sure.
