Beautiful open plan unit backing directly onto stunning Lake Illawarra. Whether it’s for a special night away or just somewhere to unwind, the serenity of the lake will captivate you. Outdoor area with BBQ allows you to sit and relax while you cook, or take a stroll along the lake. Wifi and Netflix. Please note, our unit is not wheelchair friendly. Loved the retro apartment; great location, onsite managers to hand to help with any needs, very comfortable apartment. The unit is a short walk to the beach with an island that can only be accessed at low tide. Very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

Stay in sussex was really great, it was a family trip and the environment, location, the house was really good. We all had a great time. Mainly the location is really good, just in front of the water, close to the markets and also all the amenities were available.

We stayed at Carla’s place for nine weeks and it truly was a home away from home. The apartment was clean and beautifully decorated. Carla provided us with a high chair for when our grandchild came to visit. She also made two bicycles available to us. The Shell Cove location was perfect. All grocery, cafe, and restaurants were a short walk away. It was also nice to explore the marina and local beaches during our daily walks. We would highly recommend Carla as a host. She was very quick to respond the few times we had a question. We will definitely stay here again next year! John and Carol
