Vacation rentals with a kayak in Georgian Bay

We had a great stay, very beautiful area. We originally found it difficult to locate with our GPS taking us to the wrong location. However, that was our own mistake missing this detail in the listing as the hosts did mention this and described how to best locate the location. Hosts were quick to communicate with us when we got a bit mixed up in our directions. We did not realize that the Air BNB was located at a marina, but a visit in the fall was very peaceful and quiet. The fall colours were beautiful. Spacious and clean accommodations for a good price.

Our stay at Addie's cottage was delightful. The place was clean, well-furnished, and equipped with all the necessary utensils. Both hot and cold water pressure was excellent, creating a cozy and warm atmosphere. The bedrooms were tidy and comfortable. Addie proved to be very responsive and helpful, enhancing our experience. However, we encountered a few minor issues: 1) We discovered and eliminated several small cockroaches in the kitchen, particularly around the garbage cabinet. 2) The dining chairs were deteriorating, leaving lots of tiny pieces on our clothing when we used them. 3) The non-functional hot tub was a surprise upon arrival. Although mentioned in the listing, we missed it and so suggest making it more prominent, perhaps in the title, as the photos and description led us to expect a working hot tub. This could also be Airbnb's fault, since I specifically selected the "hot tub" option during my search, clearly indicating a preference for a property with a working hot tub.

The place was as described and the host made sure to check in with us via email before, during and after our stay. The home was clean and exactly what we were looking for. Thank you for helping us make our few days away as relaxing as we had hoped.

Brett was an awesome host. Was always super responsive and helpful. His cottage was such a relaxing time for my family and I. The backyard was very private and great for my dog to run around in. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and using the fire pit!

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa’s cottage! She reached out ahead of time to provide great recommendations and very clear instructions for check-in and anything we needed throughout our stay! She was very responsive and friendly to interact with. The cottage was perfect! The beds were very comfortable. We loved being right on the water while having multiple areas to sit and read a book/ visit. The tree swing in the water was a nice touch great for photos! We took the provided kayaks, paddle boards & pedal boat out one afternoon to explore a sand bar not too far from the cottage that Lisa recommended which was lovely! Thank you to Lisa, I recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a nice getaway by the water with friends or family!

Gary & Mina were excellent hosts. They greeted us for check in and where very accommodating. Any questions we had were quickly answered via the AirBNB app. The house was full of character and had lots of things to do indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, utensils and kitchen wares. There was a washer/dryer centrally located which was great for towels and the Weber BBQ was in top notch condition. Water toys well maintained (2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat). Pool and hot tub worked great, which was a must for our cottage getaway.

absolutely loved our stay. incredibly peaceful and quiet. space was well kept, cute and comfortable, the stairs leading to the water and the view 10 out of 10. will definitely be coming back. mais the host was incredibly friendly, polite and willing to help us if we had any questions or concerns about the space. great experience all around. would recommend if visiting the south hamptons or sauble

We went to this cottage for a beautiful romantic weekend getaway and we were happy we got that. The owner of the cottage Necker was very kind and helpful, absolutely loved the place and there was plenty of water activities to do. It was easy to check in, communicate and plenty of peaceful vibes. Recommended 100%, please go visit this cottage it is very well worth it. P.S: we loved the character of the cottage with little artpieces and wall art from all over the globe 🌎.

Beautiful place to unwind. Pam and Bryan are great hosts and went above and beyond to make our weekend special. We arrived to a great bottle of wine at the dinning table along with birthday balloons (as I had just mentioned briefly we were coming down for my wife birthday. They are also very responsive when needed to locate some items on the property. The location is perfect. The deck is great and gives you a great view of the sunset and sunrise. Believe me when I say just that experience alone is worth it- fire up the bbq and have a drink at the same place and you will want to stay here for a long time. The interior is nice and described well. It is an older waterfront home that has been upgraded, including a main bathroom that has heated flooring along with a perfect view of the dock, the water, etc. The furniture in the living room and tv were quite comfy and the kitchen was decent and had all of the supplies and appliances you would need for your stay. 10 out of 10.

My family and I loved our stay at Girish's! The cottage is exactly as described online in words and photos and accommodated our group of four adults (and one dog!) really nicely. Girish is an excellent communicator and made sure to give us all the helpful details we'd need for our stay, and he checked in on us (by message) to make sure we were settled in OK and to see if we needed anything. The cottage is located on a beautiful, peaceful, quiet lake and we loved spending time on the dock in the autumn sunshine. The kitchen has everything in it you could ever need - it's really well-appointed. The beds were all comfortable and we appreciated having a toilet/sink on the upper floor in addition to the main bathroom on the ground level. We'd absolutely stay here again - we really enjoyed our weekend here. 10/10 recommend!

We have had the pleasure of staying at Zebina's place before and returned again based on our first visit. As a host, Zebina is available and responds to any request. The place is nicely situated on the lake and is a comfortable, quiet, and private retreat with amenities. The cottage is always found clean and ready to accept visitors. All in all a great experience and one we look forward to again next year.

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

My friends and I do an Airbnb every year. This was the best place we have stayed in. It was everything Chris and Fran had said it was. They are also extremely hospitable. Would definitely go back.

Nice rustic cottage with very private waterfront. We made good use of the canoes and kayaks. The main living area is a good size for our group of 6. All in all we had a lovely weekend.

The cabin was impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We brought plenty of supplies but ended up not using them because the cabin had it all. The nature was breathtaking, and we felt completely isolated and undisturbed, just as we had expected. We’ll definitely visit again, both in winter and summer. 10/10

Very scenic spot to get away for a quiet night. You can see the river out the windows. All the necessary items for cooking were provided. Close enough to Gravenhurst for anything you may need. Clean and comfortable furniture and front walkway and driveway were shovelled and welcoming. Would definitely recommend for you and your girls for a girls night or a couple looking for a quiet retreat! The owners were very good for providing information ahead of check in and very courteous to check up during our stay.

Best cabin-in-the-woods weekend ever! Perfect spot for hiking, kayaking, movie watching, and board games. Bill went above and beyond to make the trip go smoothly.

I highly recommend the Lake House in Dorset/Raven Shores. This cottage was perfectly situated and close to scenic attractions and many trails. The property was picturesque morning, noon, and night. The perfect spot with easy access to the lake. Their customer service and attention to detail is second to none, exceeding my expectations every time. The hosts were readily available and responded quickly. The cottage was warm and Cozy "just like home." It was equipped with everything a family would need and more. We would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Cassie and Jason’s cabin!! It’s such a winter wonderland! We understand it’s low season and a lot of things are closed due to weather conditions but it’s meant to be a staycation for us and we absolutely loved it!! Snowshoeing in the trail and appreciating the snow were definitely healing! And our host Cassie and Jason are always there for us whenever we needed something! We felt so worry-free and relaxed! And Cassie’s sourdough is to die for!!! We love you and thank you for having us!

It was great staying Misty River Cabin. The area was beautiful. My family enjoyed the stay and our dog love all the outdoor space to play fetch. Close drive to bracebridge made this location perfect for us as it allowed us to visit some of the local breweries there. The Cabin itself was beautiful and cozy. Would definitely come back in the future.
