Vacation rentals with a kayak in Georgian Bay

We had a great stay, very beautiful area. We originally found it difficult to locate with our GPS taking us to the wrong location. However, that was our own mistake missing this detail in the listing as the hosts did mention this and described how to best locate the location. Hosts were quick to communicate with us when we got a bit mixed up in our directions. We did not realize that the Air BNB was located at a marina, but a visit in the fall was very peaceful and quiet. The fall colours were beautiful. Spacious and clean accommodations for a good price.

The place was as described and the host made sure to check in with us via email before, during and after our stay. The home was clean and exactly what we were looking for. Thank you for helping us make our few days away as relaxing as we had hoped.

Brett was an awesome host. Was always super responsive and helpful. His cottage was such a relaxing time for my family and I. The backyard was very private and great for my dog to run around in. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and using the fire pit!

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa’s cottage! She reached out ahead of time to provide great recommendations and very clear instructions for check-in and anything we needed throughout our stay! She was very responsive and friendly to interact with. The cottage was perfect! The beds were very comfortable. We loved being right on the water while having multiple areas to sit and read a book/ visit. The tree swing in the water was a nice touch great for photos! We took the provided kayaks, paddle boards & pedal boat out one afternoon to explore a sand bar not too far from the cottage that Lisa recommended which was lovely! Thank you to Lisa, I recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a nice getaway by the water with friends or family!

Gary & Mina were excellent hosts. They greeted us for check in and where very accommodating. Any questions we had were quickly answered via the AirBNB app. The house was full of character and had lots of things to do indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, utensils and kitchen wares. There was a washer/dryer centrally located which was great for towels and the Weber BBQ was in top notch condition. Water toys well maintained (2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat). Pool and hot tub worked great, which was a must for our cottage getaway.

We went to this cottage for a beautiful romantic weekend getaway and we were happy we got that. The owner of the cottage Necker was very kind and helpful, absolutely loved the place and there was plenty of water activities to do. It was easy to check in, communicate and plenty of peaceful vibes. Recommended 100%, please go visit this cottage it is very well worth it. P.S: we loved the character of the cottage with little artpieces and wall art from all over the globe 🌎.

Our stay at the cottage was very enjoyable. The cottage was very clean with all essentials and many pleasant extras included like Keurig machine, bbq, kayaks and canoes, fire pit, and pool. The lake is quiet here with access to it steps from the cottage. A little boat house is also available with many life jackets for adults and kids. Fishing can be done at the dock. Rich was an excellent and responsive host. He answered all my questions promptly and helped us literally within minutes when we needed additional info about the area. We definitely would recommend friends to stay at this lovely cottage!

Beautiful home and space. The house had a lot of amenities. We had a great time and so did our dogs! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Jadey and her family were so welcoming and have a total gem! My husband, 1 year old daughter and I had a lovely stay and felt so welcomed! It is definitely a place where you can feel at home and you know is rich in memories! Lots of families with young children, perfect beach for littles all the way up to adults! Access to kayaks and paddle boards and a hydro bike (so cool)! We also launched our sea doo from their private Marina which was easily accessible and they were very knowledgeable of the surrounding waters! We stayed on Canada Day long weekend and also got to enjoy some beautiful fireworks right from our cabin! It was so special! Highly recommend! Lovely spot and lovely hosts!

An absolutely stunning cottage and view! Brian and Pam were very responsive. It is the perfect location for a winter getaway and I can imagine the summer would be just as perfect. I would 100% book this again

This cabin was great for a winter camping weekend. It was modern, clean, and very well equipped. It had everything a guest could want. The kitchen, bbq, blackstone and Traeger give you every possible cooking option. Multiple backup propane tanks onsite in case you run out. The wood stove made for a very comfortable stay, with lots of wood available and a splitter for kindling. Nothing negative at all about this place. It was great and we enjoyed it very much.

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

Wonderful stay, 2nd time going back, and will continue visiting. Very warm and welcoming couple. House was very cute with a special letter and treats upon arrival. Ice fishing was also great 👍

Sone and Blessy's cottage exuded warmth and hospitality, making it the perfect vacation rental for relaxation and fun. The cottage easily accommodated our group of 8 and offered plenty of amenities, including canoeing, an outdoor fireplace, and a game room. The well-equipped kitchen and large living room added to our enjoyment. We were impressed by the spotless cleanliness and hotel-style bedding. We can't wait to return!

Lovely cottage with plenty of room for six of us. This cottage had everything we needed as well as being very peaceful. Went for a few walks in the area but excellent for sitting and relaxing if that is what you’re after. We did a winter visit but would definitely consider booking this again in the summer

We had an amazing stay! The house was spotless, cozy, and set in such a beautiful, peaceful location. The fireplace was a perfect touch, making our evenings warm and relaxing. Communication with the host was effortless—they were always quick to respond and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend.

Krista was an amazing host and would respond to our concerns in a timely and clear manner. Her description of the crooked cabin was perfect. We ended up bringing a lot more than we needed as Krista makes sure her guests get everything they need for their stay. The cabin itself was cozy and clean. But what we loved the most about our trip were the surroundings. It’s isolated and quiet which is exactly why we chose this cabin and none of it disappointed. We’re definitely going back!

Overall, my partner and I had a wonderful time at the Black River Haus. Beautiful interior design, the essentials of what you’d probably need for your stay, and a peaceful neighbourhood. I highly recommend the Lake House in Dorset/Raven Shores. This cottage was perfectly situated and close to scenic attractions and many trails. The property was picturesque morning, noon, and night. The perfect spot with easy access to the lake. Their customer service and attention to detail is second to none, exceeding my expectations every time. The hosts were readily available and responded quickly. The cottage was warm and Cozy "just like home." It was equipped with everything a family would need and more. We would stay again.

Cassie wasn’t only very accommodating and welcoming, but was happy to go the extra mile with shoveled pathways, handwritten notes, and a fresh loaf of sourdough to greet us into the space! The cabin is very thoughtfully designed with quick and easy access to a fire pit as well as outdoor space to walk around through. Would 10/10 recommend to a friend for a scenic peaceful nature getaway.
