This is a very nice place to stay. Bathrooms fit the date of the house. Master bathroom is a little small, but workable. This house worked out perfect for our stay. Kitchen had many pots/pans/dishes/etc. which would have worked perfect for someone cooking a regular meal. We had brought certain pans for cooking some Thanksgiving dishes and was glad we did. Linens were all very nice and the place has a lot of character. My only wish is that the listing said "steps" into the house. The rear steps that you go into the house are steep and feel a little small. Overall, I would recommend this place for someone who is okay with walking up steps and needs a very nice place to stay.

First thing I will say it felt like home, a house that feels like that is a great place to stay in, everything was perfect and the downtown feels like home in Houston, I’m glad I had this opportunity to book this home my family loved it, I will be booking again, I recommend it ! We were pleasantly surprised that the home was actually nicer then the pictures. Very comfortable and conducive for visiting. Within walking distance to some restaurants and very convenient to downtown Mobile. I would definitely stay here again.

I absolutely adore Homer’s place. This is our second time staying and it was lovely. We have already booked our stay for the fall. The bed in the master is so comfy, the kitchen is super stocked and we were so grateful for that. The fenced in yard is amazing for fur babies and the dock is to die for. Homer is what every Airbnb host should aspire to be. Sweet neighbors, quiet safe neighborhood. Absolute perfection at an affordable price. Until next time! 💛

Katie was amazing! We had an absolute “uh-oh” with our first accommodation and booked with Katie 30 minutes before check-in time. She had everything ready for us and was very responsive to everything we said! She is an amazing host and we will be back! Highly recommend her for your Mobile stays!

We enjoyed our stay. There was lots of space for our family inside & outside. The century old house had lots of character. If you want modern, this house is not for you. It had some updating done, but I think they kept some of it as it was for memories & for the vintage charm. The floors were beautiful but slanted due to the age of the home. To get to the master suite, you have to walk through a bedroom, so that didn’t leave privacy for anyone staying in that eoom. The dock was very nice, & the view from the dock was beautiful, especially at sunset. The yard was big & private, but the landscaping could use some upkeep. There were lots of chairs outside for use, as well as some toys for children. We didn’t use it, but there was a really nice fire pit area w/ plenty of seating. The hosts were very helpful & answered all of our ?s in a timely manner. There were lots of supplies, such as toiletries, laundry supplies, etc. We had a great time!

The Lively Oak 3BD/2BA Near DTown Mobile

It was SO clean and nice! I could tell she spent a lot of time putting it together to make it feel like you are at home. Everyone had plenty of space and we could all hangout in the living room together as well. We loved the fireplace, when we arrived because it was cold that night. We had a wonderful weekend and would recommend Tami’s place! It was very close to everything and a short uber ride to and from a Mardi Gras ball! Thank you for the wonderful stay!!

We enjoyed our stay in Sherry's camper. The beds were comfortable and it was very roomy and clean. The outside environment was very peaceful and the neighbors were all friendly. Sherry was quick to respond and met our needs with no problem at all. Great place to stay and an outstanding host!!

This is our third year returning! What an amazing place. Our group of friends does an annual get away weekend each year and Gator Dogs has become our second home. Now that we are older and have young kids, this venue has us covered. Explore the woods, do some fishing. Check! Shoot some pool and watch the game. Check! Throw down and cook/grill. Man, this is your place has you covered. We will be back! The hosts, fantastic. They make you feel like family. Can’t wait to return.

Mimi's Guest Cottage

I stayed in the cottage for just over a week. The house was clean and quite spacious for being just one bedroom. There is TONS of storage - a large dresser in the bedroom, two large closets, bookshelves with room for your own stuff, and a large cabinet in the dining area just outside the kitchen. The desk and recliner were much appreciated as well. The cottage sits behind a larger house which is also a vacation rental, and there is a RV on the property which seems to have full-time residents. These are both enough of a distance away that privacy is not compromised. The previous reviewer mentioned having an issue with flies in the kitchen area, but we had no flies or other insects so that has apparently been addressed. My only wish would be for the cottage to have a somewhat larger sofa in the living room. That's a small concern and I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Bay cottage was colorful, clean, cozy and cute. Quintavia was very quick to respond to my questions. The pictures looked just like the house and decorated so cute. It was close to family and downtown mobile. The neighbor was quiet and we had no issues. I would definitely recommend and I would stay again.

This was a very nice and cozy place to stay! I used this house for me and my bridesmaid to get ready on wedding day. There was plenty of room for all the wedding things to be done! Latoya was very helpful and very responsive!
