The herb is an experience that provides and knowledge of Sweden's history of how farmers in these areas lived before. The herbren was used as a storage room. Our host has converted it into a nice and comfortable residence for those of us who live in the 21st century. Everything worked to our satisfaction. We can highly recommend the place.

Wonderful fresh rooms with very good beds. The shared toilet is fresh and clean. The breakfast is very good with everything you need. Christos and Sofia are excellent hosts. We will be happy to return if we have our way past.

We felt very well taken care of by Monika. For example, she brought out a high chair and pointer books for our little daughter, we appreciated that. The home was just what we needed on our transit. The breakfast was fantastic.

What a fabulous time we had at Marteen's. The warm welcome, the gargantuan breakfasts, the evening meals worthy of an excellent restaurant, the discussions with the family, the impeccable house, made our stay in Orsa most pleasant. We were there for the Vasaloppet in March and Marteen even got up at 3 a.m. to prepare breakfast for our competitors. If you're passing by Orsa, you have to stop by Marteen's.
