Shari is an absolute gem! She left. personal note for us (we were there under stressful circumstances) Her place is amazing. The house was not as clean as it could have been, but thst was NOT her fault! The rental agency was very responsive. Ideal layout and comfy furniture! Easy for my 80/90 year old parents to navigate. Would definitely stay again!

Cozy retreat is an understatement. This place was great. Exactly as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking to escape from the norm.

Overall, we had a great time! The outdoor shower is huge and a unique experience to use. We were able to freely use the hot tub, and the directions for using it were super clear. The space was so clean and everything we needed and above was provided. It was so quiet and peaceful, I was able to sit outside and read an entire book. The skies were so clear and we could see all the stars. An amazing experience, and an unforgettable New Years Eve.

Super cozy and close to everything, we literally stayed on the couch all day and didn’t leave the Airbnb till after 5PM. 💜

The Zen Retreat was amazing! Even though we were in a neighborhood, it felt like we were in a secluded garden. It was so peaceful and relaxing. 10/10 would recommend.

A group of my friends and I stayed here for a weekend. I am from the area originally and the location cannot be beat. It a gorgeous lakefront property and we rented a boat/captain for dinner on Friday to take us down the river to a waterfront restaurant. We heated the pool but ended up using the hot tub instead. The furnishings and house itself are not new or “modern” but it looked exactly as described/and in the photos, and the house is even bigger overall. For the price, this was a great deal. We spent our time hanging out in the kitchen which had enormous windows looking outside, and on the deck, and it was super comfortable for all 11 of us there. Robert was incredibly communicative and always available to answer questions. We wished we could move in! I’d definitely stay there again. Great for large groups.

The area is still being built up with new housing (Charlotte is still booming), but not immediately near the house. Its a very quiet area of single family homes, not heavily trafficked, but within 10 minutes' drive of grocery and other stores. We've stayed with Bryan three times now, and have had no problems or complaints. The house is comfortable - good beds, good bathroom, good kitchen, good living room - and while a bit old, is perfectly adequate. King beds are not common in Charlotte ABnBs, and Bryan's is worth the stay.

It was a cozy place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of life. It is peaceful and allows you to truly appreciate nature and what it has to offer.

Carla was a very thoughtful host. There were snacks, bottled water, coffee and teas with honey, even half and half for the coffee. She provided firewood and skewers for roasting marshmallows. She helped us find the best restaurants with great local recommendations. We even met her dog when we first got there so that everyone was on good terms (no barking, etc.) It's was very easy to have a relaxing weekend at her place.

This was a great stay for my family visiting for the holidays. Beautiful neighborhood with lots of charm! The home was spacious and cute, and exactly what we were expecting. The in unit washer and dryer was very helpful for our extended stay. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful time! We were in town for a busy wedding and the process was so smooth and simple that it made the weekend much easier! The place was so nice and is a great location. We have always had a great experience with this host and will definitely be staying again in the future!

Home was cozy and suited my needs perfectly. Quiet neighborhood (it is winter) lol Property was easy to find, super close to any major restaurant and grocery store. I was just in for a few days for business so this was perfect! Thanks again! JJ

The house was perfect for walking to Bojangles Coliseum for our show. Super convenient to not have to drive and park. Felt comfortable, safe, and quiet. The house is on a cute little street with a cul-de-sac at the end but not any thru traffic. There was also a nice brewery within walking distance. Elizabeth was very informative and willing to work with us. Would definitely stay here again especially if I was attending an event at the BoPlex. Thank you!

Kim is a great host. Instructions were very clear and contacting her was immediate and helpful. The neighborhood is safe and quiet . Very close to restaurants and stores by car. The house was eclectic as described. very clean roomy and comfortable. I love to stay in homes like this. Although the home has a midcentury vibe, the things you would want to be more modern like the kitchen were totally up to date. ( amenities). loved our stay and would book again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Jan and Charlie’s place. Their communication was great. The pool house was immaculate and had plenty of thoughtful touches. The cookies were delicious! We especially enjoyed the family history on the walls. Highly recommend a stay here.

I stayed in Charlotte for 6 weeks to get a feel for living in the city, and Rachel's place was a great introduction to the area. The apartment is a short 10 minute walk to the main bars and restaurants in Uptown Charlotte. There is also a great coffee shop (sneakily also a bar) across the street that I would recommend. Any small issue that arose, Rachel was extremely responsive and everything was solved as soon as it was able to. Overall, very satisfied with my stay at Rachel's apartment!

Our family rented the Fountain of Young over Thanksgiving as a central location to gather 3 generations together. It's ideal for families; there are enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own space, yet many spaces to gather together. The media room with the projector screen was a huge hit, as was the heated outdoor pool (a perk when most rentals close up their pools once summer is over). We enjoyed the outdoor gas fire pits; the private beach and kayaks looked inviting for those renting in warmer weather. There are beautiful views of the lake from many spots along the rear of the house. Lastly I must comment on the kitchen - I have never rented an Air bnb with a better equipped kitchen! Any kitchen gadget you could possibly need is on site. For all the dishes, glasses, bakeware, etc., everything was so clean - they have an awesome cleaning crew. Also love that this rental is green they have detailed recycling instructions.

David’s place was great! Very quiet and spacious, great for a weekend trip. Looked just like the photos. The bathroom was nice, spacious and modern. We appreciated the juice in the fridge and complimentary wine. Very nice touch! His place was very close to the corporate area of Ballantyne as well as restaurants, bars and breweries. Was very convenient since we were in town for a work conference. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Josh and Tanya are great hosts. They allowed me to check in a little earlier than 4pm and are super responsive. The condo is immaculate and perfect for a romantic retreat or just a quick getaway like mine. The garage is an added bonus for the car buff like me! I’ll definitely book with Josh and Tanya when in Charlotte NC.

I booked this home so my husband and I could visit our family for the holidays who live about 30 mins away. It was able to accommodate us perfectly. I also have a baby who was able to have an entire nursery to herself which was such a blessing as we wanted her to be comfortable and unaffected. Even though the owners live at the property, the home was absolutely spotless and we felt right at home. They even had a Christmas tree up that we were so excited to gather around on Christmas morning. Very grateful to have found this listing!
