Accommodations in Gas City

While we had to cancel our stay right after we got there we could not of been more happy. Very clean, great location and private. Christa was very understanding and worked with me through all of this. She is quick to respond and kind.

Don’t let the outside of this house fool you! Although it’s in a bit of a rundown neighborhood, the house is full of charm, clean, and cozy! It was a perfect spot for our family to get together. We loved the walking paths around the house and the beautiful sunroom for visiting. The antique details and furniture added to the appeal. The back parking area had space for all our vehicles. We had a great weekend and would recommend this property!

The house was beautiful and spacious with all the comforts of home. Main level is wide open with a lovely kitchen and living room, plus three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The basement hang-out is the perfect additional area. Very comfortable couch and beds. I highly recommend to anyone, especially those in town for events at Grand Park. Kroger and restaurants minutes away. Grand Park an easy 10-minute drive.

We had a convention in downtown so our drive was 55 minutes away but honestly, it was so nice and we loved the place so in the end...it was worth the drive. Cutest place and it was very spacious and roomie. Had all the little things that you sometime get stuck buying (like detergent, dish soap, etc) so it was really nice. Me and my daughter had a good time there and enjoyed the warmly decorated place. I'd stay there again if in the area.

The Woodsy Retreat was just what we needed for our weekend trip to Indianapolis for a family wedding. We planned to stay in the city close to the venue but soon realized the city life was not for us - Especially for our daughter’s dog. The quiet peaceful location was perfect despite the rainy weekend. We could relax in the “home away from home” and enjoy our family time away from the bustle. Only a 35 minute commute to downtown Indianapolis. We will recommend this to others as we appreciate the close proximity, easy access and peaceful area.

This was a great house for our family of 15! The house seemed bigger than we expected. It was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room. The kids loved Cool Creek Park Nature Center, which is close by and going to the Children’s Museum in Indy. There is lots to do close by or traveling a short distance.

Cozy and cute (clean) with comfortable beds. Many useful amenities. Peaceful with zero disturbances. Loved having a yard for our pups. No issues with check-in or out.

Beautiful home with so much space. Our family stayed there for our niece’s wedding. We loved all the extras in the game room and all the bathrooms were an added bonus. It was easy to get to and lots of parking. Thanks for a nice weekend.
