A bungalow furnished with attention to the details in a very idyllic location. The kitchen is very well equipped (lots of spices, almost all cooking utensils, etc.). A highlight was the jacuzzi, which invites you to relax! Marcel and Ria are both very kind and friendly personalities who are open to questions. A tiny shortcoming: In the winter, the bungalow cools down quickly, so you have to heat all the time. But Marcel and Ria are aware of this and on arrival they have already turned on the pellet stove warmly.

We stayed in the cozy apartment for a week and felt right at home. The house is very quiet and secluded. It is essential to be mobile with a car. You can't do anything directly from the house. Recommended are excursions to Greetsiel (a very pretty place with good restaurants) and a guided tour at the Meyer Werft in Papenburg. The seal station in Norddeich is also worthwhile.

We had a great time. Everything was available. Communication was also fine. Recommended!

Our stay at Maarten's place was fantastic! The instructions for check-in were clear and easy to follow. Maarten and Ilse were amazing hosts, always responsive to our msgs. They ensured we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The house is nestled by a serene lakeside, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. It was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything, including a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, bikes, relaxing chairs by the lake. The thoughtful touches truly stood out, like the beautiful Christmas decorations with a charming tree and lovely lighting added to the festive atmosphere. We loved spotting the adorable Big duck family and squirrels near the property and enjoyed a wonderful bike ride through the forest trail, where we saw deers, horses and rabbits. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re so grateful for this experience and would love to stay here again in the future! Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable family getaway.

Beautiful setting. Hosts were lovely and very kind. We had a warm welcome and enjoyed our Christmas in this peaceful and quiet cottage.

This place is a real East Frisian pearl! We stayed here over Christmas and felt super comfortable. The view is a dream. While cooking for the family, you can see the big sea. Kitchen is well equipped, we even didn't miss anything while cooking Christmas. In the evening we sat by the fireplace and in the morning we enjoyed the first rays of sunshine with coffee with goose chatter on the terrace. The accommodation has a playfully furnished children's room (which our daughter loved). There was no question about the TV. In general, there is plenty of storage space and everything was very clean and maintained. We noticed that attention has been paid to quality here. From slippers to bedding, everything is great. We will be more than happy to return !

A very pleasant stay in this spacious, bright and equipped apartment with everything you need. The apartment is very well located in relation to the center and train station. The host is pleasant and responsive. Thanks Vanessa for these few days!
