Vacation rentals in Garden Township

Comfortable, quiet stay on a very peaceful small lake. Had fun using the paddleboat and enjoying the outdoor deck and grill. Hosts were very accommodating, and even made up a bonfire for us each night. I would recommend !

Everything about the stay was amazing. I can't thank Andrew enough for the ease of check-in/out, the cleanliness of the house, and the great atmosphere that came with it! The view from the deck was great and the neighbors were very kind. They offered help if needed and safe travels. Overall, our stay was wonderful and appreciated.

Great location within a few feet of Lake Superior. House was quite large and very clean. Kitchen was amazingly stocked. Anything you might need was a short drive away. Will definitely return. Thanks Kevin

Great location for hikes in the area. Jonathan had helpful recommendations for hikes in all directions. He was quick to respond and very helpful. The cabin was cute and had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy and the shower had great water pressure. There was a nice little bar just across the street. We would definitely stay again, the fall colors were outstanding.

This was our home base for our son's NMU graduation weekend. We had several family members along and we were all comfortable with plenty of space. The house was spotless and welcoming. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, we were even able to squeeze a walk in. It's a quick, beautiful drive into Marquette. Penny was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We will definitely book again when we are in the area!

The Lodge was exactly what we were looking for. We went to that area for the Lakeside and got way more than we expected. The sauna was hot and refreshing, the games were great for the family, (especially the 80's arcade for Dad) and what can I say about the lodge, such a beautiful log home in a very nice peaceful area! If you have gotten this far into your review process you should not hesitate any further, take a visit here.....you won't regret it!

Spent a long Thanksgiving weekend at Sarahs with our family. It was a very comfortable house for us! The beds were comfortable and rooms spacious with several sitting areas aside from the living room so plenty of room to spread out. Since the weather was chilly we spent a lot of time around a great dining room table playing games. What a great house it would be in the summer with the fire pit outside and easy access to the beach! Highly recommend!

Overall, I give Bob and Linda’s lodge 5/5. It was exactly what I was looking for: an authentic off-grid UP experience. It’s clean and homey, and Bob and Linda are top notch hosts, going out of their way to make your stay a good one. If you’re looking for a great off-grid experience, this is it. However, it may not be for everyone. For example, we visited in October, and we had to heat the lodge through fireplaces as there is no central heating. I personally enjoyed that but can imagine others not wanting to deal with it. The lodge has an open concept floor plan, and I recommend guests consider sleeping arrangements carefully. While there are a ton of beds, there are few doors, and most sleeping areas don’t have one. So it may not be the best if you have people going to bed or waking up at different times.
