We had the most wonderful few days in Ailish’s cottage. The drive from Kate Kearneys cottage through The black Valley was breathtaking & we stopped so many times along the way to gaze in awe at the spectacular scenery. When we reached The sheep farm and saw the cottage we were lost for words. The cottage is just perfect in every way & Ailish has thought of everything one might need. It’s also spotless, so cozy and homely. The welcome loaf of home Made soda bread, butter, jam etc was delicious & every tiny detail made this stay just perfect. The peace, quiet, stillness and total immersion in nature is something we’ll never forget. Ailish’s welcome is so genuine and she has created a little piece of heaven here. Ailish, thank you so Much. I stayed at the cottage for the full month of December and loved it! Patrick was great to communicate with and super responsive. Cloghaneleskirt is quiet and peaceful in the beautiful countryside, but just 20 minutes to Tralee or Listowel. You can walk to a nearby windmill farm or down the road to the local town a few km away. I watched the sunrise from kitchen window every morning: glorious. And on a clear night, the starry sky was the most brilliant I’d ever seen - expansive and breathtaking! It would be worth a stay, even just for that night sky! The cottage has two lovely wood stoves that keep you extra cozy. The bed I stayed in was comfortable (I only used one room) and the living room had a large couch to spread out on. Check out the loads of information on different Counties Patrick has on the top shelf in the living room! Lastly, the caretaker, Christy & neighbors were so kind and made me feel right at home. As a solo woman traveler, I felt safe and looked after. I recommend!

We enjoyed our stay and firstly have to say the photos do not give enough credit to this clean and well curated cottage. From the books on the shelves to the maps on the walls with statues inside we felt right at home. The stove an added feature for us was manageable and kept the building toasty, especially upstairs. We felt right at home and were welcomed by Kevin who checked in daily. Conversations were friendly and a lot of knowledge about the local area. Outside was space with parking for our car. There’s a view of the sea and Inch beach, Dingle Peninsula, and Macgillycuddy’s. A lot of care was taken into consideration of this cottage and you can see how often it is maintained. There is no tv and who would want it with the amount of books here and scenery abounding the cottage. We found ourselves on many walks and it’s so close to Killorglin as well with easy access. We will come back again especially for more chats with Kevin. Superhost experience.

Many thanks to Mary Mary! We had a wonderful week here in April. There were six of us and we had enough space. The grandparents even had an extra bathroom with shower right in the bedroom. There are also two separate lounges, so part of the family could watch a movie in the living room in the evening, while the rest in the reading corner could enjoy the great view of the lake. Overall one of the best places we've had on our trips so far. We can therefore recommend Mary's cottage to anyone who wants to vacation in this area.

Paul and Katrin were the most lovely hosts. We had stayed here before and the second time - like the first time - fell nothing short of what you could hope for in any Airbnb. The cottage was extremely clean and felt like home right away. We used the Kayaks on the lake during sunset and opted for the sauna on a rainy evening. From Lakefield, all of Kerry was within driveable distance so we could really make the most of our stay. We can’t stress enough how comfortable and welcome Paul and Katrin made us feel during the entire stay and we can’t wait to be back another time.

We had a great time at Dominic's place. We chose this lodge because of its geographical location and it was perfect for traveling around. Our arrival went very well, the directions were very clear and on our arrival Dominic had even lit a fire for us. He had kindly left us things to eat (cereals, milk, butter, bread etc.). The interior of the lodge is even better than in the photos, the two bathrooms are very practical and the bedrooms nicely redecorated. The bedding is excellent and we were able to rest well. The lodge is peaceful and located near a local pub that also serves as a restaurant. We were able to go there for dinner or listen to Irish music. Dominic gave us some great tips for sightseeing, was full of thoughtful touches and made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I recommend going without hesitation.

The cottage was absolutely spectacular, and exactly as described - located just inside Killarney National Park, the grounds are beautiful and it's an easy walk (or short drive) to local restaurants, shops, the INEC, and Killarney town center. The cottage itself was gorgeous and very well appointed, and we very much appreciated the small touches - some coffee, tea, and biscuits for us to enjoy! We met Eileen just after check-in, where she gave us a quick but thorough tour of the cottage and shared some great conversation about the area and the event we were in town for. Thank you so much, Eileen & John, for an excellent week and we'd love to be back!

Myra's cottage is a compact place just on the outskirts of Tralee. It is well decoarated though the place is slighly congested as compared to other coattges we stayed but had all the facilities and amenities. Myra herself is a wonderful host and her hospitality was more than satisfying. Check-in was smooth so was her briefing about the premises. She also advised us and provided tips for our travel. Myra had made provision for breakfast and some snacks when we arrived. We would defintiely recommed this place to fellow travellers.

We had a wonderful stay at Ur's House! The location is incredibly peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. From the moment we arrived, Urs was warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure that we felt comfortable and at home. Lounging on the couch in front of the stove with a DVD playing was just amazing. The house itself was spotless—neat, tidy, and very well-maintained. Everything we could possibly need was readily available, from kitchen essentials to thoughtful touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a space that is both functional and inviting. Having no wifi and limited mobile reception enhanced the experience. Hugh and Ciara were exceptional hosts, their home is right beside the guest house and were available to answer any questions or just a chat. The house was immaculate and had lots of character with the best views over the lake. we even got to see Ben the sheep dog work his magic bringing the sheep home. We loved our short stay here. The cottage itself is beautifully restored maintaining its original charm. Our 3 dogs also loved their stay. Hughes pub is a 2 minute walk from the cottage and serves outstanding pints of the black stuff.

We stayed in March when few places were open. Sugarloaf cafe worth a visit. And Garnish is a good day out. Had lovely weather, so enjoyed walking in the area around the cottage. Happy to recommend.

The fact that my teenager, who is a typical teenager and difficult to please, asked could we buy the house and garden within five minutes of arrival should tell you everything. The home and gardens are stunning. Near the village of Ardfert which has lovely restaurants, shop and a playground. Banna Beach is less than 10mins and is spectacular. Tralee is 15mins by car and plenty to do for a family there. Gorgeous stay, would highly recommend

We really enjoyed our month-long stay at Jerry's place. The kitchen is well equipped and Jerry and his wife were always helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. The host provided enough dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper and even firewood to last our entire stay. The house is in a very quiet and peaceful location in the countryside but still central for exploring both Kerry and Cork counties (having a car is a must).

We had a lovely stay at Riona’s and Paddy’s place. The appartement had everything we needed. Riona was super welcoming and we loved that she baked some fresh bread for us upon arrival. I would highly recommend staying here if you are exploring the Kingdom.

Perfect. Fiona and Padraig were amazing - they greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour, but also were sure to give us our space. Their two sweet dogs, Elsa and Osgar, were friendly and welcoming too! They had milk, butter, eggs, and even a pie waiting for us! We could walk down the lane from the cottage to the shoreline in only a few minutes. I cannot recommend staying with them enough.
