We enjoyed our stay. I feel the pictures didn't do it justice, it's a beautiful home and property. The game room was so fun, plenty of space, everything g we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. Husband and i really enjoyed the master bedroom and jacuzzi. I enjoyed Iced coffee each morning with the "good ice" from the ice maker they have. We loved the vintage decor mixed with the modern clean wood renovation. We would deffinatly stay again.

Mark and Stephanie’s place is definitely the nicest Airbnb me and my family have stayed at yet. The amenities were excellent and the listing was extremely accurate in its descriptions of the property, cabin, and land. My kids never wanted to leave because of the hot tub as well as the ping-pong table and beautiful backdrop. My wife never wanted to leave because of the absolutely beautiful cabin itself. The kitchen has anything you would ever need and is definitely the most well stocked Airbnb kitchen I’ve ever seen. We will definitely book again.

We loved our stay!! It was peaceful, relaxing, and just what we needed. I suggest this place to anyone. I will say it is like glamping, the bathroom is an outhouse and not attached to the house, but it's right beside it. The bath house is walking distance and is at the end of the hill with the party barn and hot tub. We love everything about it. Overall, we loved our stay and we will be staying again!!! The host are very friendly and quick to respond to all needs. Book this place!!!

This cabin is wonderful. We wanted something kid and pet friendly and it’s able to be both without missing a beat on offering a very clean, comfortable setting. It felt so homey inside. It’s well stocked with linens and kitchen needs, has many fun actives (board games, giant connect 4, large jenga, foosball, air hockey, ringer darts), has a large, clean hot tub and plenty of outdoor furniture, a propane grill, and is in a very private location. The WiFi worked great. The beds are very comfortable. The driveway is a serious climb; we drove a Yukon and an F150 and made it up fine but you wouldn’t want to count on parking at the bottom and walking your bags up so follow the hosts instructions on having a proper vehicle. We loved that the hilltop location made it feel more secluded and safe so it’s worth it. Overall exactly as pictured and even more enjoyable than expected. It’s clean, cozy, comfy and family friendly for adults, kids and four legged dog friends!

We really loved this place! We were looking for something outside of cities just as a getaway spot as we were going to the Mothman Festival, and we couldn't stop talking about how much we loved it there. Ruth and her husband were incredibly kind and responsive to things, despite having almost no issues (only thing was a dead door battery but that's not their fault.) Highly recommend, and we plan to be back!

The cabin was secluded and so peaceful! Everything was as it was described to us! We had everything we needed to stay! Would definitely book this cabin again!

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay free of the outside noise. This was perfect as we were visiting our daughter at Ohio University - only 20 minutes away! If you're looking to unplug, this is perfect complete with a hot tub. No wifi and cell service is very, very spotty. We didn't mind! Erin was extremely communicative as there was lots of rain in the area and she kept her eye on the roads for us. We would love to stay again and take advantage of the fire pit and walking the grounds.

Myself and two others booked here for moms weekend at OU. What a lovely place! Clean, cozy, peaceful, and just what we needed. Host went above and beyond to help make sure traveling to and from the home was safe due to heavy rainfall and flooding. Perfect directions and guidance. Comfy beds and great place to sleep. Had everything we needed for a great weekend!

We were looking for a quaint little cabin to have a “staycation” and this was the perfect fit! Love the private space and huge front yard for our dog to play in! Wish it was a little closer to Hocking Hills but it was beautiful by itself!

Great, Private place. Beautiful surroundings and a nice porch to enjoy the view. The home is very nice. The wifi worked really good. When the propane ran out during our stay, they were fast to resolve the issue. Without a doubt, would sstay again

This stay was absolutely perfect. My husband and our 8 year old son, did a father/son trip to Ohio. They absolutely had a great stay and loved the location and the cabin. My son was actually sad that he had to leave and can't wait to return here again soon. The place was clean and very well kept and they enjoyed the property and fires at night outside. They said out 10 stars they would give this one a 20........

Super cozy, clean and comfortable. The cabin is decorated with charming old photos and memorabilia; I really liked that authentic touch. We only wish we had had more time to spend in the beautiful setting! Excellent communication from the hosts.

Lisa's cabin is excellent for a nice weekend! Beautiful area, quiet and cozy. The cabin is close to Athens for easy access to campus events. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Lisa supplied coffee and shower amenities, which is always appreciated! We would definitely stay again!

My friends and I rented this property as a getaway for the 1 year anniversary of the loss of my friend's partner. This rental was truly lovely and relaxing. We found the property very clean and the beds/couches were comfortable. It was very private and we loved getting to use the ATVs. It's hard to be sad when you're ATVing and hot tubbing with your best friends. The property was also very close to many of the Mothman attractions we came to town for. We would definitely stay again. And Spooky the cat was so friendly. We are a bunch of animal-lovers, so he was a welcome friend during our stay.

This was our third stay at this cabin and we have already booked our trip for October. Can’t wait to be back!

It was really great holiday place, nice & quiet. Kids enjoyed free space around home, hung swing on trees, played soccer around. I would recommend this place if anyone planning to visit Ohio around Hocking Hills and nearby place

Be sure to have 4WD as explained in the description. The driveway is very steep but doable with 4WD. I would highly recommend!

I cannot recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape out in the country, this is it. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere was so calm and refreshing. The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. On top of that, the hosts were incredible — so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. You can really tell they put their heart into making this a wonderful experience. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

The Mardi Gras cabin was just what we needed. comfortable, clean, and peaceful.

We stayed at Bit of Heaven for the weekend with our children while our eldest child received an award at the local university. Charles’ home was even better than we expected. It was immaculate, private, and cozy with great river views. The accommodations were superb and had everything we needed including comfortable beds and little hospitable touches throughout. Charles was communicative and readily available for anything we may have needed, which we truly didn’t because of how clearly laid out his guide is. We will absolutely stay again! My friends and I love to get out of the city and hang out at this cabin. We love the pool and sauna and we spend majority of the time on the front porch enjoying the peaceful energy and beautiful surroundings. The cabin is always clean and well stocked with necessities. It is decorated thoughtfully and the bedrooms and beds are huge and amazingly comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!!!
