Beachfront vacation rentals in Galle

This place is really amazing! The host is super attentive and helpful and made sure I got the best price for a taxi to the airport. In addition, I was able to check in early which was very nice. The place itself is very clean and has a small kitchen area if you want. There is hot water and a fan. The beach and the main road is like 2/3min away which is super convenient. Overall, this was one of my best stays in Sri Lanka, especially for the cheap price.

A great villa with spotless cleanliness, spacious rooms, and neat, well-maintained bathrooms. Equipped with all essentials, the villa offers 24/7 security, and the caretakers were extremely helpful. The food prepared by the cook was excellent as well. Overall, one of the best beachfront villas out there. Valentina was incredibly helpful and always available to assist. Highly recommended!

our stay at villa golden was nothing ahort of spectacular, kristof was through out communicative and susantha the care taker was forthcoming and very helpful, the entire staff was always smiling and very respectful, the property in itself was so well planned clean and just everything a family needs! the beach is like a private beach and the outdoors are so well maintaned with the palm trees and manicured lawns!! would definately recommend and would come back again.

We had a Honey moon and New Year in Akain villa. The villa is situated very close to the ocean. We prefer to see sunsets at the beach. The owners are very kind and friendly people. They help us, brought everything what we need. In the eve of New Year Candy and Lakmina organized unforgettable beach party with national food and fireworks for their guests! There is 20 minutes to the fish market by foot. Every Saturday there is the market not far from the villa. We have wonderful time in this house.

Everything, literally every thing was perfect!! The House is a true tiny house, so much attention to detail. We really enyoyed it. The host is very kind and helpful. His grandma's cooking was so good...Lovely neighbourhood without tourists, excactly how we like it;). Talpe is definetly worth a visit...so many nice people and places...we will come again!

The Flying Lotus Villa is literally a slice of paradise. The premium beachfront location, the pool & garden with palm & lotus trees are a bliss. The layout gives you complete privacy. Just the perfect place to relax and listen to the sound of the waves. The house is very clean, with comfortable beds and all the amenities a traveller could need. But the best part is the hosts! Bianca is a highly professional hostess, very responsive (within minutes!), flexible, really helpful and super friendly. Checking in with Dasun was very easy and warm. Dinu was always very discreet, cleaned the garden, pool and house and was always reliable with the tuktuk. The service here beats any 5 star hotel, nothing is too much trouble. Even early check-in and late check-out were offered. Breakfast is delivered, laundry is done, dinner ordered etc. and all free of charge. Thank you Bianca, Dasun & Dinu, you are the best 💖 Hope to see you again!

This place is absolutely amazing and accurate as seen in the photos. We had a wonderful two days and the kids loved the infinity pool. The care takers are brilliant and the breakfasts they made to order were amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

A top notch typical colonial style house that is very well maintained! Well sized rooms and bathrooms and loved the garden and pool area. We specially the kids had a great time. Although there is a train line outside the house, it was not an issue with sound in the night and we slept soundly. Thanks for accomodating us specially Janaki a lovely caretaker.

We had an incredible time at villa with our friends! The house was everything we could have hoped for and more. The pool overlooking the ocean was breathtaking, with easy access to the beach. The terrace was perfectly set up, equipped with everything we needed to relax and enjoy the views. The villa had three comfortable bedrooms, each well-equipped with essentials, especially air conditioning and mosquito repellent devices, which made our stay pleasant. The kitchen was spacious and convenient and we loved gathering around the large dining table for the last dinner at villa with friends. Special thanks to the concierge, who was always there to help us with any technical details around the house, from lighting to other amenities. We will definitely recommend this villa to other friends planning a stay in Hikkaduwa!

Had a lovely stay here. It is just off the main coastal road and nice and private. Satish was super helpful and got us a bike to rent for the week as well as great advice on all things local. Lost the wifi with a broken wire outside and had it fixed next day. Loved the back patio space and little pool to escape the heat Fans everywhere and AC in the bedrooms. They had tea and coffee and even bought us a case of beer in advance when I asked. 5 stars all around!

We stayed at Sunil's place from 5 to 15 December 2024. We arrived at 12:30am after a long travel period and Sunil was there to greet us with a smile and his trademark quote "No Problem" when we thanked him for staying up so late. Anything we needed he would arrange with a smile and "No Problem". He suggested great restaurants to dine in, helped us with a hire car, made an amazing breakfast for us every morning and shared a lot of information about Sri Lanka over a couple of drinks. He even made a traditional Sri Lankan meal for us one night, which I would recommend taking up his offer. We really appreciated his help with the villa and enjoyed his company. The other support staff were always helpful and courteous. A great experience all round.

Kingsley Pearl is a wonderful and very special place! The house is elegantly furnished with many beautiful details. The views from the open plan living room to the ramparts and the ocean are amazing. Just two steps away you will find many nice restaurants, our favourite was The Bungalow. Despite being in the centre of Galle Fort, it is very quiet. The gems of KP are Nissanka & Dammika who offer the best service and prepare a very tasty Sri Lankan breakfast. They are very discreet, friendly and well educated. Thanks Colleen for hosting us in your lovingly restored house and being a very attentive and professional host, always available despite the time difference. We cannot recommend KP enough for a perfect stay in Galle Fort with lots of space, style and charm! 💖

Our stay at the villa was great. The villa exceeded our expectations. The villa has beautiful sunsets, delicious breakfasts and a great pool. Thanks to Shar and her team for helping us with all our questions and taking care of the guests. Thanks to Manoj for being so responsive and having a great sense of humor! Despite the sometimes bad weather, we had a great time at the villa. Max sometimes came to visit us and cheered us up.

The villa is one of these rare places that actually is better than the photos. And the team taking care of the house and the guests were amazing. We felt so welcome and they handled all situations with grace and kindness. I also appreciated that Ambolangoda is not the most touristic destination; only one or two beach bars, and the small center of the city was very local.

The White Sand Villa stay will be the highlight of my Trip to Sri Lanka. The Villa was Fantastic with a Pool and just a Few Steps from the white Sand and your the Prive Indian Ocean Lagoon. the Staff was just so Nice took care of all our requests. The Chef just made best food what we wanted. I will recommend this Villa to anyone. Nirasha was Fantastic host.

Dilan and his family were really friendly and ready to help us out in every way to enjoy our stay. The place is very clean, tidy, close to Turtle beach and many restaurants. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast by shiny villa! Thank you so much Dilan !!

Wow.....We stayed for our winter break for two months and it was fantastic. The villa, although a little quirky was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the outside areas were fantastic, really good pool and beutifully kept gardens, with direct access to the beach and nearby restaurants. Gievs was always on hand to give us local information and to resolve any problems that occurred. Having problems reaching the beach due to the sand retracting with the tide he organised wooden steps to make our access easier within day....fantastic. The biggest joy of our stay was the house manager...Sadika who was always on hand to keep the villa pristinely clean and serve the best gin and tonics in Sri Lanka. his mother would come and cook our meals if we wished and honestly, her food was outstanding, beating most restaurant standards in the area. Fantastic house. Beach front, but at the same time private. What really makes the place extraordinary, is Joseph and his team. Hospitality, service and making sure you feel at home seems to be their goal. Highly recommendable 😀

We were a family of 9, including two kids. From the grandparents to the children, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The view from the villa is incredible. You are literally on the beach and less than 5 metres from the ocean. The sound of the waves is incessant and the breeze blows through the day and the night. Surreal actually to stand on the balcony of the room in the night and look at the sea. The pool’s great as well and has a lovely gazebo next to it, where we spent large parts of the day. They provided pool towels and even a pool ball to play with, which was a great touch. The rooms and bathrooms are massive and can certainly accommodate more people if need be. The AC’s work great and we got hot water when we needed it. The staff were helpful as well. Of course, we had our own preferences and it was sometimes difficult to explain that to them, but we did manage well enough, with a few moments of work. If you’re looking for peace, great place to be!

Simply awesome! It doesn't get better than this! Million dollar view, Awesome caretakers! Hirushan took us on his tuktuk for boat ride, local market shopping and was very responsive. Chamil is very hard working and has an eye for detail. I would say all in all a royal experience!

Slice of paradise, we stayed 12 days and enjoyed every minute. Everything like the photos on web.
