Another wonderful stay here! Highly recommend, our two little boys love the playhouse and sandpit and it is very well placed to access the lake for beautiful walks/bike rides around the lake. 15 min walk to the 2 mile sailing club which is a highlight for coffee, drinks and delicious pizza. Thanks again for sharing your home with us.

Dan's place is just a piece of paradise! Right in front of the lake, with private jetty and private ramp, away from the main road, totally safe for children. Highly recommend! Dan is very responsive and welcoming, makes you feel like home. Looking forward to return again!

Michele’s home near Lake Taupo is in a stunningly beautiful and peaceful location. The surroundings were truly serene, and the experience was made even better by Michele’s exceptional hospitality. She is one of the best hosts I have ever met—super nice and extremely helpful. We had a change of plans due to my son’s severe hay fever, which led us to cancel our hike and arrive earlier than expected. I reached out to Michele, and she immediately responded, graciously allowing us to check in ealier instead of the usual time. The house itself, while older, is impeccably tidy, cozy, and clean—it truly felt like a home away from home. The garden is a standout feature: immaculately maintained, filled with gorgeous rose blooms, and an absolute delight to spend time in. I wholeheartedly recommend Michele’s home to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming stay near Lake Taupo!

The location was stunning, and the space was new and delightful. It was very peaceful and just what we needed to get out of the hubbub in Taupo (we were there for a very large event). Would definitely recommend and stay again!

A truly beautiful home… incredible views of the lake… high quality home… huge open plan living… wonderful mineral hot tub! So quiet and peaceful… it feels like a mini resort!

Chris’s place was exactly like the pictures. Such a central location, great neighbourhood, and easy access walk down to the lake via the gully track!!!

We had a great stay here. The house is spacious, very well furnished, awesome kitchen and is in a great neighborhood just 5 minutes walk down the hill to the lake. The pool is a bit quirky and we didn't feel comfortable refilling it again as it consumes a lot of water to each time it is used. We did enjoy it the one time though. The view of the lake, leafy surroundings and sunsets was really nice. Would definitely recommend.
