Vacation rentals in Gaggio Montano

Our family of six had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stefano and Alex’s place! The location was great being so close to many shops and restaurants, but what really set this place apart was the hospitality from the host and owner. From the moment we arrived until we departed, Stefano was very helpful and responsive. The first day we arrived, he helped with dinner restaurants at an AMAZING place nearby. Then, when my in-laws had a late flight on the day of checkout, Stefano did everything he could to make their additional hours comfortable. Like I said, from beginning to end, he was great! The unit itself was very comfortable for the six of us, including my wife and I, our 7 year old daughter, and three parents in their 70’s. The spiral stairs down proved to be a little tricky, but that was easy to overcome. All of the other amenities and little touches were very thoughtful, and we greatly appreciated the welcome treats and drinks. Highly recommend this lovely place!

David’s home steps from the Arno was perfect. It was clean, had all the needed amenities, and was the perfect location to explore both the city center and the Oltrano. The little private square was a nice break from the bustle of the surrounding streets. We would definitely stay again!

The apartment is fantastic! The view from the terrace overlooking the mountains is spectacular, with sunshine from morning until evening. Check-in was easy, and Raphael and Elia responded very quickly to any messages. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for cooking. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the rainforest shower was a really cool extra touch. The internet was occasionally a bit unstable, but apart from that, the stay was perfect. If you're looking for a relaxing, carefree stay in nature, with plenty of hiking trails and winding mountain roads nearby, this is the place to be.

Hidden gem - I wish we would’ve planned a longer stay!!! Such a great Italian cabin in the woods, offering peace and calm and the healing power of nature. Every morning we awoke on our own - no traffic, a few birds, and the shutters kept the light out! We loved the old antique feeling of an updated WiFi home away from home.

Super nice area. Beautiful pool and super lovely hosts. The arrival was no problem, even the somewhat arduous road was no longer an issue after the 2 driveway. I would just not recommend it with a deep car😉. The hosts were already on site and the check-in was a dream and can also be reached at any time. Will definitely come back. Absolutely recommended. 🫶

We had a great stay at Verdiana's place. Apartment was lovely, clean and spacious,nicely furnished as could be seen on pictures. The location was fabulous, short walk to the historic centre, small shop around the corner, cafe place by the front door 😊 We had issues to connect to Wifi inside the place, but then we spend so much time outside, we didn't even mind. We cannot really fault the place, just to be picky...there was no wine opener in the kitchen 🙈 and we did miss a small sofa to sit on and watch TV, no window facing street. But we had a great stay. We had a great time at Carlo and Elena's. The fenced garden and swimming pool were a real plus. Not to mention all the little touches Carlo was able to have for us, and even a gift for our little puppy. The place is peaceful surrounded by mountains with beautiful views. We would recommend this house and its host because everything was perfect!

We stayed in this house during the Lucca fair. The hosts immediately welcomed us warmly, along with the very sweet dog Luna, making us feel like we were at home. The house is located above a hill of Balbano, thus ensuring a great silence. Having a large garden, it also has ample parking, which is not to be underestimated. The house is still being renovated so it is a nice house, but with a few small fixes still missing. Overall a great experience.
