Vacation rentals with lake access in Funatsu

The airbnb is in a great location walking distance to the most beautiful spot to view Mt Fuji. It is central to most of the activities and attractions around the lake. The hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating. They allowed us to check in early to drop off luggage so we did not have to carry our luggage around. I highly recommend this airbnb!

This stay exceeded all our expectations! The house was incredibly spacious, much larger than we imagined, and perfectly clean. The location was peaceful and private, yet still conveniently accessible. But the absolute highlight was the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji right from the windows — it was picture-perfect! We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. If we visit Mount Fuji again, we will definitely return here. Highly recommend!

Very nice house, good hygiene, old-fashioned furniture, very tastefully decorated, and different from the generally intentionally remodeled house used to make B&Bs, you can see that the overall cost of the house is not good.The room is well stocked.Fuji can be seen on both the first floor and the second floor.It doesn't feel too chilly in the house even when it reaches zero outside.Also would like to stay if there is a chance.

Family of 4, stayed 5 nights. House was located down a narrow lane (we had a big car so was a bit challenging) but opened up with good parking behind. Weather was cold but the space heaters helped warm up the house quickly. The under-table heaters were great! Kitchen was well-stocked with sufficient appliances to make a home-cooked meal. Beds were comfortable and clean, and thick blankets kept us warm at night. Location was right in the middle of attractions so it was easy to take day-trips out to see Mt Fuji and the nature areas. Would recommend to family and friends to stay.

We had such a lovely stay at your place! The place was really neat and tidy, and the view was absolutely fantastic. Plus, it’s close to the train station, which makes everything convenient. Overall, it had a great vibe!

We had a very pleasant stay. We loved the house. It looks exactly like the pictures and is very beautiful. It’s in a very nice place, out of the touristy busyness, close to a very nice coffee spot and if you have a clear sky, you can even watch mt fuji from the house or from the parkingspot close to the house.

- What you see in the pictures matched with the reality. - during autumn, you can see red and yellow momiji (autumn leaves) from the balcony which is very beautiful - a bit far from kawaguchiko lake, but it is serene, private and many restaurants nereby. - there were couple of time that the electric tripped due to opening too many air cons in heater mode. - Yoichi san is proactive and supportive - everything just perfect, love this place. - definitely consider this place for next trip.

I would recommend this place if you’re going to kawaguchi and need a place to stay. This place was great! The place itself felt like home. The space was spacious and they had a good bathroom. The free bicycles were also great for going around kawaguchiko. The hosts were also helpful and very kind. There was a pharmacy just a minute away, restaurants near the stay, it was also near the tunnel that goes through the lake to the city.

An amazing place away from the crowd! The place was spacious and very clean, and you get a great view Mount Fuji when you step out of the apartment compound. The neighbourhood is pretty quiet yet close to some famous restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back to visit.

Chiyo-san was an excellent host, very responsive and polite, always happy to help with any inquiries. The apartment itself is new, clean, and cozy. We especially appreciated the heater in the common area, which worked like magic during the cold weather. Just a note that the designated shower area and washing machine are outside the house, so it can be a bit chilly walking over there in colder weather, but thankfully there’s a toilet inside the room, which was really convenient. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean stay.

i had an amazing experience staying at this airbnb. the location is absolutely perfect—just outside on the right, you’re greeted with the breathtaking view of mt fuji, and it’s genuinely unforgettable. the hospitality was exceptional. I was picked up and dropped off at the station during check-in and check-out, which made the process seamless and stress-free. The family exuded such positive energy, and their warmth made a huge difference to my trip. the property is conveniently located near supermarkets, and they even provided a bike for my stay. Having the chance to go for a late-night bike ride with fuji’s silhouette in the background was just heavenly. i was travelling solo and the room was big for 1 person so you have all the space you possibly need tbf, room size wont be an issue. i will 100% recommend this to anyone. (personal tip - go on a random bike ride around 4/5am or around 11pm too, the quietness of the village is ZEN AT ITS FINEST) hope this clears anyones doubts

We had a very comfortable stay here. The apartment was spotless, and had everything we needed. The views of Fujisan from the apartment were breathtaking. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our 2 nights there. His place is about 3-5mins drive from the station. He kindly offered to fetch us from the station. The owner (ojiisan) warmly welcomed us and gave us clear instructions on how to use the amenities and get around his place. You can easily see fujisan when you come out on the roadside too! If you walk/cycle up ahead a little, you’ll get a clear view of fujisan without travelling any further. Very convenient to get around using the bikes. Totally would definitely recommend his place!

Booked a 3 days 2 nights stay at Bear House A, overall experience with the stay was very pleasant. The house is really cozy and we enjoyed every bit of the house, especially the living room! The layout of the floor is pretty neat too. 1F - 3 bedrooms, 1 toilet 2F - kitchen, living room, 1 toilet and 1 bathroom. The house is very spacious and well equipped with cooking pots and pans. The only feedback we had was the TV, the TV is not a smart TV and has very limited channels (doesn’t provide HDMI cable for external connection), so if you’re looking to stream any OTT, it would be best to bring your own HDMI.

Really nice and friendly people, their house is very nice, big and cozy, always attentive to their guests and the best thing is that they ask you if you need help for your transportation or get somewhere, really enchanted with his wife and Marino 🥰

The accommodation is very well located a minute's walk from the yamanakako lake. we slept on futons, an original and exotic experience. the common areas of the apartment was great and the bike rental is a real plus! I highly recommend this accommodation and the hikes to do around!

We had a great time! There are more than necessary equipment, and I think you can enjoy bonfires and BBQs even for beginners. It is also right down to the river in front of you, and the water is beautiful! It was a cool time this time, so I couldn't play in the river, but I would like to use it again in the summer! Even though it was the day before to communicate the desired check-in time, it was very good that you were very accommodating. I used it for 14 people, but there were not enough cooking utensils and dishes, so I had a comfortable stay.
