Amazing stay in Tokyo for an incredible price. It's super close to everything, and the room itself is super clean and it's quiet at night. Juni is also excellent and super responsive - the cleaning staff is also super helpful (they even helped with my heavy luggage). Overall the hospitality, the room, and the location are unbeatable. Highly recommend!

Truly ideal for a very peaceful, quiet, rural yet accessible and spacious stay. Location was truly excellent and the view from the upper balcony was of the rice paddy field on a riverbed. I cannot imagine how much more beautiful it will be when it's planting and harvest season. The neighbourhood is truly local and very peaceful. The home is very very spacious and feels cozy, with all one needs to just enjoy the place. Just have to be mindful of your own noise: it's really very very peaceful so please respect the neighbours and the neighborhood!

It was a Showa era retro room, and I was a little worried that it would be in the way, but it didn't happen at all, and I had a more comfortable stay than I expected.It had all the appliances and equipment needed for a short stay, and I felt the owner's care.

We had a wonderful stay at Akiko’s place. It was the perfect spot for the last part of our Japan trip. Akiko gave great instructions for everything in the place and even had a google map for recommendations in the area. The neighbor was beautiful and quiet with lots of shops near by and having access to two train stations was a plus! We will definitely be rebooking for future trips and highly recommend Akiko’s place.

Great space for the price, quite a bit out of the way to more desired parts of tokyo but if you don’t mind a 25-50 min subway ride to central locations then i highly recommend. communication was easy and quick response times made everything easier. thanks again

I enjoyed my stay at this little quiet Airbnb in Kita City. It can be a little far from some of the main areas like Shinjuku, Asakusa, etc but I preferred the quality/size/quietness of this place over staying closer in a busy downtown. Highly recommend if you don't mind taking a little longer to get to places. :)

We stayed at Hirokos for 4 days when we first got to Tokyo. The location was perfect for us and our 1 year old. Grocery store is a close walk. Lots of convenience stores around. Very close to Senso-ji temple. Lots of things to do

The service from the host is awesome. Super helpful and accommodating with my checking. Truly professional and his place was well-stocked with various supplies indicating he’s not cheap and he’s focused on providing us with what his Airbnb needs to function properly. The ONLY problem is the train tracks, though he clearly mentions this. The trains are very loud from about 5 AM to 12 AM and if you’re a light sleeper, this is gonna be a problem for you. It seems that two of the train lines even shake the bed as the trains go past. I generally sleep with headsets in and I listen to music so it’s not really a problem for me, but it was a little annoying sometimes. Other than that, though the places is awesome and it has a lot of character. I think it’s still worth staying in though, despite the trains.

The place is walking distance to the train station and Tokyo Tower. Easy to locate. Host is very responsive and the place is big and clean. Very homey. I would recommend this place if you want to go home to a relaxing place after hours of walking in Tokyo. ☺️

Place was as described. Host helped us out multiple times. Host allowed us to drop off luggage earlier then check in time which was a huge help. He also sent us the location of a luggage shipping service to help us move our luggage to Kyoto. Yin was super helpful. Will be back next year!
