Vacation rentals with a fire pit in French Broad River

Great in the trees home. It was a great last minute find that made our mountain trip lovely. Very good location for hiking and boating along Lake Glenville.

We are so lucky to have found this home for our weekend in the mountains to attend a family wedding! The location was perfect and our stay was cozy and just what was needed. Everything was abundant—from towels and linens to fresh air and white squirrels! This is truly a special home with great hosts.

If you’re looking for a well-kept, comfortable and peaceful place and property for a family get together, this is a must consider. On top of all the wonderful things Asheville offered being only a few minutes drive, we loved going home to this place and have chill time in the outdoor hot tub. It provided us (even our pup) everything we needed for a restful and fun stay. I highly recommend Anne’s house and won’t hesitate to stay again.

We loved our stay at this house. The yard is large, well-groomed, and has a creek running along one side of it, all of which our kids enjoyed. We also appreciated the other at-home activities, including the pool table, dart board, arcade video multi-game, hot tub, and fire pit. All of this, along with the easy drive to Asheville, made this one of our favorite vacations.

Morning View Escape was awesome. Tammy's house overlooks a big open field which leads to the river. It's very peaceful and beautiful! It was perfect for our young children to run and play. Playing in the river was a big hit, too! We'll be back :)

Rodney is a kind and gracious host, he was helpful and friendly. The apartment was easy to be in, the back deck was nice and fairly private with lovely fireflies at this time of year. I was able to have Zoom meetings out there at a table with an umbrella which I loved. The kitchen had what I needed to be comfortable and do most of my own cooking for a three-day stay. The area is quiet and feels very safe.

Beautiful apartment, pristine clean and very comfortable. Great deck with a gorgeous view. Perfect spot for a concert in Lake Junaluska and very easy access to a beautiful walking trail around the lake and to Waynesville and Maggie Valley. Excellent extra digs for a family weekend with the rest of the gang staying in the adjacent house.

Where do I begin, the best reviews about Mike's place hardly do it justice. The views of the mountain from the deck are breathtaking and even partially visible from the comfort of the bedroom and kitchen windows. The hammock on the deck with the mountain scape backdrop is perfect for reading or dozing off to the sounds of nature. The place was easy to get to, easy to access, immaculately clean, and stacked with more than enough toiletries and essentials. Mikes recommendation of nearby eateries and things to do was right on point and enjoyable for the Asheville local and visitor alike. Mike was incredibly responsive and so graciously accommodated my departure time. It was an amazing stay, pleasant, peaceful and fun. Thanks so much Mike and I can't wait to stay at your place again.

Had the opportunity to visit Asheville for the Biltmore Christmas Evening Lights tour. Even though this is not in Asheville, it is perfect! The mountain retreat offered seclusion from the hustle and bustle of Asheville. The area has many farms around and it was a pleasant drive into town. You can tell Mary Ann takes pride in her rental, many nice touches, extra blankets, condiments, juices, clear instructions on how to use things. Her yard, along with the residence, is very well maintained. Mary Ann was quick w responses. Would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity to visit again!! Many thanks for making this an enjoyable time!!

What a lovely space! Beautifully designed. Friendly host. Comfy bed, amazing view, and sooooo quiet and peaceful. My nervous system felt totally reset after a couple days here. My kiddo loved the castle and the cats, dogs, chickens and horses. Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but I had a hotspot with me for work. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Miguel’s place was absolutely perfect. The use of space makes this studio feel large but cozy. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The kitchen has all of the basics anyone could need. The modern look of this Airbnb is an added bonus. Our dog especially enjoyed the fenced in yard, and guests even have a covered parking spot. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed at Robert and Janelle’s Airbnb for our honeymoon and it was great! The house is cozy and a good distance from restaurants and attractions! The house was beautiful although the driveway was a little rough to drive with our camaro. The scenery driving to the house was beautiful, especially seeing the creek! we also got lucky with some snow so that made it even better! definitely recommend this airbnb if you’re looking for a cozy stay near the mountains!

My family had a fantastic weekend getaway. The cabin was incredibly cozy! It was conveniently located near Ellijay, allowing us to explore all that the town has to offer, while also providing a secluded retreat to escape. The perfect location! Megan and John were exceptionally attentive to our needs, making us feel right at home. We truly appreciate your hospitality. This was an unforgettable experience.

This was our second time staying here and it was just as great if not better than the last time. We will continue to stay here when we visit the Dragon.

Great place , quiet and easy to find . Wifi is extremely good for it to be out in the middle of no where. Wish the porche had a little more privacy as there’s a cabin visible on both directions , maybe some netting or a door coming up the stairs as it’s just opened for anyone/anything to get in while in the hot tub. The cabin itself felt really cozy and clean . Relly close to helen, would recommend:)

The cabin was very clean and cozy when we had arrived. We really enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and the secluded area. Additionally, some of the nearby hiking trails are absolutely stunning that aren't too far from the cabin.

The cabin is cozy and beautifully designed, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The interior is thoughtfully laid out, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for preparing meals, and the comfy living room made for a great place to relax after a day of exploring. One of the highlights was the outdoor space. Whether it was enjoying a morning coffee on the porch or taking in the fresh air under the stars at night, it truly added to the overall experience. The hosts were also incredibly welcoming and provided great recommendations for local attractions and restaurants, making it even easier to enjoy the area

We loved our time here. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough, if that is what you are looking for. Very comfortable atmosphere. Great recommendations for restaurants. Also had what we needed to enjoy a meal at the cabin. Looking forward to returning soon.
