Situated in one of the safest, crime-free areas of SA, with tar roads all the way, is INKUNZI CAVE. A totally unique, owner built unit with a Bushman theme. 1 bedroom only with double bed. Single bed in lounge . An amazing "rock" bath and separate shower. Overlooks a beautiful rock pool. Very private. 2 other cheaper units on the property are listed separately: THE ZULU HUT, and DIDDLY SQUAT. All have stunning mountain views, are comfortable and fully equipped for self catering.

The farming is ideal place for couples, solo adventurers, families with kids and pets. With plenty to do on the farm- from Fly fishing to over 4000 ha of mountain range to explore with hidden waterfalls, forests, streams and bushman paintings through to rare fauna and flora.

Hamstead Farm eco and pet-friendly Cottage

Hamstead Farm Cottage is a unique, cosy, two-bedroom solar and wind-powered 80 sq m split-level pet and eco-friendly guest house set in the grounds of the main dwelling on a small farm. There are spectacular mountain views of the Southern Drakensberg with a small stock-watering dam close by. Children can play safely in an adjoining fenced, grassed area. This is a quiet and tranquil get-away where individuals, groups and families of all backgrounds and persuasions are welcomed.

Akzente is situated in the heart of Clarens, within walking distance of all the galleries, shops and restaurants, but still has a panoramic view of the valley and the mountains of Golden Gate and Lesotho. This self-catering accommodation consists of three flats. Each flat has its own balcony with braai facilities, where you can sit and enjoy the spectacular view and watch your children play in the small garden playground.

My place is close to the Central Drakensberg and 5km outside of Winterton. You’ll love my place because of a panoramic view of the Drakensberg. A fireplace and an entertainment area with a pool and table tennis table. Patio with braai facilities. A pool and deck. There is walk to the dam or river on the property. 3 garages. My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

With your stay you will experience nature at its best- with beautiful sunsets, starry skies and farm animals grazing on the fields surrounding the farm. This is the perfect stop over for travelling families. Please note: No pets allowed :)
