Lovely apartment with breathtaking view! Gabrielle was kind enough to let us check in early. She greeted us and explained how everything worked in the apartment. Both bedrooms were very spacious and luminous with big windows. Bathrooms were very clean and spacious as well. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was a beautiful living space overlooking St-Pierre basilica. Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you Gabrielle for your kindness and hospitality! Gloria & Jean-Michel

AMAZING apartment. On the ground floor of a beautiful Liberty style Italianate building, with a beautiful garden and outbuilding seating area, in a super quiet authentic Roman neighborhood, if you want to know what real Rome is like, stay here. Restaurants, cafes, and stores all around, with convenient buses to take you in and out of the city, and within 1.5kms of a metro stop - Policlinico. I cannot recommend this place enough !!! And your hosts Giovanni and Veronica are amazing !!! There is a B&B on the 1st floor of the little villa, too, so if you are a large party, some can stay there.

Our hosting was excellent. Beautiful place and very clean. Andrea was very kind and at check in gave us a map of Rome with many tips on what to do and where to go. Simply great!

Roberto and Roberta are genuinely thoughtful hosts who explains everything carefully. The space is obviously large among accomodations that I could find in Rome, and the location is amazing. If you are tired of walking around Vatican museum, you could reach your home within 5 mins.

The apartment was exactly as in the photographs, in fact it was even larger than expected. Bright and airy, it was very well and thoughtfully equipped. It was just perfect for our stay!! Would definitely recommend it!

Fabulous place! This is my 9th trip to Rome and Carla's accommodation was outstanding.....one of the best I've had. 7 minute walk to the Metro, 15 minute walk to St. Peter's, 10 minute walk to Vatican entrance, lots of restaurants nearby, etc. The apartment has 2 distinct bedrooms w/their own bath and are separated by a large kitchen/living area. All of the amenities you need for a long stay. In addition, I lost my passport on the first day. Turns out, it fell out of my pocket in the driver's car on my way from FCO to Carla's place. I did not realize it until later that day and Carla assisted me GREATLY in getting it found and returned to me. GRAZIE! Carla's place has my highest recommendation and I will be rebooking it for my future stays.

Great for leaving the car on the weekend and hanging out in Rome. Station near the house just 5 minutes away.

Antonello and a fantastic person, always ready to help, when I needed I was taken care of immediately, the apartment is in the best region of Rome, great restaurants, most of the sights if you can walk , I stayed with my wife for 12 days and we were sure we got the choice right. On our next trip to Roma we will return to stay at Gentle Antonello's apartment.

A perfect place for our group of 3! The location was very close to the Colesseum and central to our other walkable adventures. Flaviana was very flexible with our check in and gave crystal clear instructions which helped us check in swiftly and start our Roman holiday on a positive note.

Great spot to stay in Rome. Super quiet area but still walkable to Trastevere restaurants and beyond. Easy walk from 2 train stations and easy ride to Vatican city. Laura was able to welcome us herself and was reachable if we had any questions. Would stay again!

Roberto is a wonderful host that goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. He was very responsive and helpful. He is very friendly and warm. The home is exactly as described. It has many amenities that make even a long stay comfortable. The home is spacious and can certainly host a family. The kitchen is well-equipped if you'd like to make your own meals The home is situated in a very charming square and only steps from the main square of Castel Gandolfo. Castel Gandolfo is a very beautiful and charming town. I highly recommend this airbnb if you are in the area.

This was such a lovely villa! The gardens are beautiful and the apartment felt just like home! This is a great place for couples or single people looking to relax. The area was super cozy with cute touches that made you feel cozy. The host was incredibly sweet and flexible! I wish we stayed longer to fully enjoy the beautiful space!

Even better than the pictures! Beautifully decorated, tons of room for a family, and super clean. Located right across the street from the President’s Palace so very safe area, and also near other embassies. This area doesn’t have a ton of restaurants or stores except for local cafes or minimarts, but is very close to the Monti area where there are more stores/restaurants. Only a 15 minute walk to Villa Borghese, 20 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain, 25 minute walk to the Coleseum. Would absolutely recommend this property and highly enjoyed staying there.

This apartment was perfectly located for our first visit to Rome. We were a family of 5 adults and while in the in our rooms, we could not hear each other. And could not hear the television while in the bedrooms. Very quiet and private! We didn't feel on top of each other which was a plus. Plus the beds were very comfortable. Another plus was that the host provided lots of coffee for our stay and gave us many food recommendations.

Julie was very hospitable! We loved the airbnb - each room was huge, clean, and well decorated. The location is great in Porta Pia. We only ran into two relatively big problems. 1. All the bathrooms facing street side had a big odor (methane from toilets) and 2. Some rooms had fruit flies. Julie was kind in trying to problem solve but it was tough for our family to deal with. The rest of the stay was great and we enjoyed our time there.

I had the pleasure of staying for three nights at Raimondo's place and the experience was excellent in every aspect. The property is impeccable, cozy and equipped with all the necessary comforts for a pleasant and relaxing stay. Raimondo has been an exceptional host: from the time of booking, he has responded promptly to every question, offering to help with local tips and directions on how to get to the listing. When I arrived, he warmly welcomed me, providing me with useful information about restaurants, nearby points of interest, and public transportation. The apartment was perfectly clean, with fresh and high-quality towels and sheets. The spaces have been organized with great care, and Raimondo's attention to detail is immediately felt.

I had a great time staying here. It was near to metro and main station. The house was warm during winter and has all facilities that we need. It was very secured as well. The hosts were really approachable and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you so much for hosting us.

Michele’s apartment is even better than it appears. 1000 characters are too few to explain why. He owns the apartment, and it shows: he has anticipated and supplied what his guests might need or want to make their stay enjoyable. It was apparent that their happiness matters to him We had corresponded via text before our stay; the clear and comprehensive instructions were accurate. Clean, efficient, quiet, the flat is stylish in an appropriately minimalist way that we like. It is clutter-free. Both beds are comfortable. Its superb situation provides easy access to the attractions of the historical center as well as to Trastevere. Since the 1980s, we have visited Rome probably a dozen times, exchanged houses, used friends’ apartments, and stayed in the expensive hotels on via Veneto and surrounding Villa Borghese. We enjoyed our weekend at Michele’s apartment as much as any of these. You may find better value for money elsewhere, but I would not count on it.

Just got back from an amazing stay at Anna Maria’s apartment near the Colosseum, and I have to share how great it was. From the get-go, she was super responsive and helpful. Our arrival was a little later than we expected, and she communicated clearly with us the entire day of our arrival. There was a little hiccup when we arrived, but Anna Maria was on top of it and made sure we were very comfortable and happy while things got sorted out. Very professional and personable. She personally greeted us, which was such a warm welcome to Rome. The apartment itself was fantastic—clean, cozy, and in the perfect location. We could walk to all the major sites, which made our short trip so much easier. She also gave us some awesome recommendations for local spots to check out. We really felt at home during our stay. Big thanks to Anna Maria for being an outstanding host. If you’re planning a trip to Rome, I highly recommend staying here. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!
