Condo vacation rentals in Franklin County

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

Mick’s place was the perfect spot for a long weekend with my son! Everything was clean and tidy, the decor was lovely and the directions were all very straightforward. The view of the lake from the porch swing was beautiful, we spent a lot of the time parked right there. It was very peaceful even on a holiday weekend. All of the amenities of Bernard’s Landing were great for entertaining a 9 year old as well. We visited the indoor pool and the beach and enjoyed the restaurant. We were a little disappointed to find that the outdoor pools weren’t open yet as it was in the 80’s, but it wasn’t a big deal. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

The Condo was very comfortable and the view and closeness to the lake made for a perfect location. We also enjoyed the walking path to the restaurant on the property.

Excellent place to stay at. Things are easy to get to and a straight shot to go shop and eat or go to the beach with a gorgeous balcony view. Condo was very clean and I could not complain.

You will be thrilled if you stay at Patricia’s condo. Amazing views of the lake! Comfortable bed, and she really puts wonderful touches throughout her place to make you feel at home. We will definitely be booking this condo again!

Top-notch hospitality! Alan & Corrine have their customer service and communication down to a science. They are incredibly responsive, proactive, and went above and beyond throughout the entire process. Before my stay, they even sent a detailed digital guide covering everything—check-in instructions, appliance usage, local recommendations, important contacts, the check-out process, and more! It made everything seamless and stress-free. The space itself was exactly what I was looking for—a peaceful retreat with a lovely view, yet still close to cute shops and yummy restaurants. I wanted a place where I could truly unwind, get creative, and recharge. I brought my watercolors and a record player, hoping to find an inspiring space & this was perfect for that! I honestly don’t think they could have done a better job. Every host should take notes from these two! Thanks so much! :)

We had a lovely stay at John’s condo, the view is beautiful! We enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. SML is such a relaxing place, there isn’t a ton of “stuff” to do and I think that’s why we like it so much. It really forces you to relax and take in the beauty of the surrounding areas. We did the baby goat snuggles activity that is suggested and it was so much fun and such a great family experience, we highly recommend it! Thank you John, we look forward to booking again in the future 🙂

This was a solo get away trip for me to get familiar with SML, where I had never been before. It was a perfect time of year to visit, the weather was ideal and it was not busy at the lake. The property was exactly as described, very comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities you could possibly want or need. Ben was very responsive, and personable, and checkin and out was easy. I never had any questions or issues or a needed to communicate with Ben because it was all very well detailed in the instructions however, I did ask for early checkin and he quickly let me know that I was welcome to checkin as soon as I arrived at SML. The view from the property was incredible, right on the water with the mountain in the background. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunrise and also using the patio lights at night and the Blackstone grill. I did not use the common amenities or being a boat however it was made easy to do so. I highly recommend staying here if you plan to be at SML.

The unit was very comfortable and clean. It was well equipped and had a beautiful view of the lake. The ammenites were numerous and easily within walking distance. We very much enjoyed the tennis & pickle ball courts, as well as the pool and exercise room. The beach was close enough that we could carry our kayaks and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling on the lake many times. The water was very clear and clean with an abundance of wildlife to view. We also enjoyed numerous local restaurants and activities, to include visiting an alpaca farm. Last, but not least, the hosts were amazing!!! They were very communicative and helpful from the time of booking, right through the end of our stay. I had several questions ahead of our trip, and each was answered promptly and completely. I even needed helped with something during our stay, and they were right there once again to help and make our vacation a most memorable time. Enjoyed my stay! Very peaceful location in the off-season. Katie made check-in and out easy. The condo layout was nice, and it included all the things you would need. The bathroom does include a tub; the tub has slip protection which is not removable. (Noting for those with kids.) Restaurant next door was delicious and easy to walk to. Also, easy to walk to is the clubhouse and beach area. I would stay again, and I don’t say that often.
