Quiet and private location. It was perfect for our family! Bill provided insight to the area and sites to see. Bill was friendly and the house was set up perfect including a washer and dryer which came in handy! Bill let us borrow his high chair for our daughter. The area is beautiful and we can’t wait to be back!

Beautiful house in the middle of the peaceful woods right above Lake Hartwell that has everything you ever dreamed of and is wonderful for any time of the year! The owners are really friendly and have equipped the space with everything you need for a perfect stay, great for both vacation and remote work. The two-story indoor space is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The spacious upstairs porch with table, chairs, grill, and TV is also a great living and working area. Plus there’s a covered dock with chairs to enjoy the lake scene while soaking up the sun, kayaks to explore the inlets, and even a firepit for well-rounded outdoor living!

Don’t hesitate, just book it! The host was great, the place is better than the pictures and it is easy to find. I completely agree with one of the other reviews, it just feels like home when you walk in, comfortable is the best description I can give. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time with our kids for spring break. Everything was exactly how it was listed. Very responsive host. And the place is beautiful. Tilleys tiki bar is a must try restaurant. Easy access for a boat ramp as well to dock. Adding to our list of places to come to again.

Our family stayed at Grizzle’s over Thanksgiving and we had the best time! Our host was very communicative and accommodating. We loved the homey feel of the house, and it was a great place for all the grandkids to play games and have space to play. Everything is very well stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, etc. We would definitely recommend this location if you’re looking for a cozy feel, but also with the space to accommodate a larger group of people.

Highly recommend Tammy and Scott’s place for a peaceful escape. It was nestled in a very quiet neighborhood and provided the perfect amount of privacy. Food, shopping, and entertainment are a short drive away, but you really won’t want to leave! :) Tammy reached out before check-in and was easily accessible during our stay. The rental looks exactly like the pictures provided and was very clean. I hope to visit again this summer.

Our host was so kind and for that I am so thankful! The home and property are beautiful. The kitchen is way better equipped than any other place I’ve stayed (at least 10 different ones) which is awesome if you love to cook like me and are there cooking a holiday feast! Y’all, no place will feel perfect because no other place is your own home but this place comes close. Ildi’s responsiveness and kindness are the icing on the cake. We had a simple and pleasant experience here at the lake house and that’s all that we prayed for.

Had a great stay here! The place is super close to the lake, which made it perfect for morning coffee with a view and quick kayak trips (they had kayaks available, which was a big plus). The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed — comfy beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and even a grill for evening BBQs. The area was peaceful and relaxing, but still not too far from town if you needed anything. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a chill getaway near the water!

Beautiful water front Cabin on Lake Hartwell

The cabin was super cute and comfortable! It was perfect for our family of 8. We enjoyed the games and made s’mores in the outside fireplace. The older kids loved having the basement space to do their own thing sometimes. The area is beautiful as well with lots of hiking and waterfalls, and cute little towns for shopping. Only minor issue was a lack of pantry/food storage. We had to get a little creative and not shop for the whole week at once. If you use a plastic storage tub for some of your packing it would help double as food storage during the stay.

William's place was such a wonderful find. A beautiful cabin in a gorgeous area on the water. The dock was nice and spacious, we caught several fish with minnows and worms. There were kayaks and a tote of life jackets. We utilized the fire pit each evening, plenty of chairs. The sun room and deck were nice, we used the grill, very clean, all tools provided. There was even extra propane after we inquired about it. The cabin itself is lovely and decorated so nicely. The living room hosts two large couches, throw blankets, a beautiful gigantic fireplace with all sorts of neat antiques surrounding it. The kitchen is well stocked with really nice cookware and tons of other items. A washer/dryer made for less packing. This place was immaculately clean. There were tons of bath linens, beach towels, lots of pillows, and comfortable bedding. The nicest thing about William's place is the host! He and his wife were so kind and easy/quick to communicate with. We look forward to returning!

Elisabeth was such a wonderful host, extremely communicative and responsive. The property was gorgeous and described perfectly. From the hottub instructions, to the heads up about the narrow staircase, nothing at the property was a surprise or unexpected. Very peaceful and relaxing, April was the perfect time to visit, in our opinion. Nothing crazy going on nearby, not too busy anywhere we went including State Parks, and restaurants. Weather was beautiful and the fresh air was much needed. My husband and I have decided we’d like to make this an annual trip and continue to stay at this property when possible.

We absolutely loved staying at the lake house. It had absolutely everything we needed and wanted. The game room was a favorite. The kids appreciated the toys and loved the bunk beds. I appreciated all the little things like coffee and fully equipped kitchen. We cooked dinner every night and made good use of the blackstone and patio furniture. Perfect fire pit for roasting marshmallows and star gazing. Every morning we took the kayaks out and enjoyed the calm water and nature sounds. We appreciated the life jackets provided as well. If you’re looking for a peaceful adventure this place is it. You really don’t have to leave, this house has everything to make your stay great. We did venture to Helen and other places to hike and see waterfalls. The only thing I can think of is maybe adding a gate to the deck at both ends to prevent littles from escaping to the water. We just kept the doors locked to ensure safety. 10/10 recommend and would love to come back.

We rent a house in this area every year- we are never disappointed! This is a beautiful house in a nice quiet area. Upstairs kitchen (the one we used) was amazing with every dish, pan or pot you might need. The lake toys provided were fantastic! The dock was lovely. This is a great area of the lake. It's nice and quiet, so don't rent if you're going to throw a big party, but for those of us looking for a nice quiet and relaxing time on the lake- perfect!

We were only in town for a short time for a wedding but we loved the home! We didn’t cook or really hang at the house but it seemed to have everything we needed and more. Great Labor Day trip with our group of friends! We are local to Lake Hartwell and found having this airbnb along with our residence was perfect to accommodate our large group! We enjoyed having the dock and brought our pontoon and kayaks to enjoy along with the paddle boards that were accessible with the home! Plenty of space for us to spread out and come together for meals! Would love to stay here again next Labor Day!

A great place with fantastic views. Everything we needed was available in the house and the rec room was fantastic for the kids and grandkids. Coffee in the morning on the porch watching the sun rise and the mist on the lake was magical.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Craig and Janet’s place. A beautiful, modern, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed home in a peaceful and beautiful setting. Too many amenities to list - there were thoughtful touches everywhere and the home was beautifully decorated. We truly felt like guests in someone’s private home. From the friendly and warm welcome to the gracious hospitality all throughout the home. We also enjoyed the beautiful setting and the walk to the lake. The peaceful view from the dock was worth the short hike! It was a wonderful weekend and we can’t wait to stay with them again!

This was hands down the most hospitable AirBnB we’ve stayed in yet. You can tell when the owners are the actual hosts 😉. During our stay, we used the kayaks, fire pit (with included firewood and kindling), deck for dog, screened in porch to play board games, deck to swim around, lounge chairs to sun bathe and fishing poles. We caught lots of fish right off the dock (tons of bites if you drop your line compared to casting or even out on the lake!). This home had everything we needed and it was sooo peaceful. At night there were no curtains in the big living room windows but it got so dark out that we literally didn’t need any! The water pressure in the shower was lovely, and plenty of towels for all 6 of us. We brought our golden, and four kids and there was just the right amount of space for us all. The hosts were very responsive and we took their recommendation to take a pic of the front door instructions due to WiFi and it was very helpful! We can’t wait to come back again!
