Peaceful Cottage, Minutes from the Lake

JohnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It's easy to see why Jennifer is a 'Super-Host'! She was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. Her home is very peaceful and serene. Exactly what my wife and I needed. From the quaint little pond on the property to the hawk's daily visits to it's babies in a nest up in a large tree in the backyard; it was perfect for us. The home is very well stocked with amenities which meant we didn't have to purchase the things we thought we'd need to. We even made pancakes on the built- in griddle on the stove. The hardwood flooring throughout the house is nice. If we ever have a need to visit the north west part of Alabama, we'll definitely book this home again. Thank you, Jennifer, for everything!!

A peaceful farmhouse with outdoor amenities

DonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great stay and just enjoyed a rural getaway. We fished multiple times a day. The kids were excited to see the large snapping turtles in the pond. There were also a few vibrant birds. It was the perfect space for our family. We used the fire pit and roasted hotdogs and s’mores one night.

Inviting, rest and peaceful

AngelaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Tricia's place was perfect for our weekend visit to the area. It was quiet and peaceful. Such a cute place with all the amenities needed. The back porch swing and rocking chairs was a perfect place to relax and catch up with friends. Tricia was helpful with recommending things nearby. She even left us farm fresh eggs to enjoy! She was extremely helpful with any questions and provided us with locations to seek storm shelter with threats of Tornados and severe storms in the area forecasted. Fortunately we did not have to leave, but was thankful for options nearby. I would definitely come back. Oh and the beds were so comfy!
The barn exterior is illuminated with soft, colorful holiday lights, enhancing its rustic charm. A warm glow emanates from within the barn, where decorations are visible. Simple wreaths adorn the doors, and lanterns line the grassy area outside, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Bigfoot Acres Farm

it's good place to unwind and disconnect. I loved the horses Joe & Mabel. It was beautiful decorated, the bed was comfy and the deep tub was just the ticket at the end of the day.

The Fancher Guesthouse

LynnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a great place to rent while our RV was being worked on at Tiffin Service Center. The rental was really nice and in walking distance to everything we needed including the Service Center. Our dog loved the fenced in yard, which was a real bonus. Charlene was great and super flexible when our repairs took longer than expected, which extended our stay. We felt totally at home, which was a nice surprise. I really can’t say enough good things about this rental. If this is available consider yourself lucky and grab it while you can.

Rose Cottage, Russellville

RobRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Great stay. My standard take applies: I was in the area for work, and got this place to myself for a price comparable to a hotel room. Also, hotel selection in this area is not exactly abundant, so I feel extra fortunate to have found this place. It's comfortable and had plenty of space for me - I was solo, but it would be great for a couple as well. I did light meal prep in the kitchen, but it has full-size appliances and plenty of cookware and utensils, would have been easy to cook larger meals as well. The downtown area is quite close, possibly even in reasonable walking distance. I was working and the weather wasn't great so I didn't venture that direction, but there were several local places the looked like they were worth checking out. Highly recommended if you are in the area!
